NAPOLEON - Evelyn M. Pilliod, 89, Napoleon, died Thursday evening in her home. Arrangements are pending at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.
Scott Bradbury
PAULDING - Scott W. Bradbury, 42, Paulding, died Thursday at 12:50 a.m., in his residence.
He was born Feb. 23, 1960, in Fort Wayne, the son of Wilbert and Dora (Wildey) Bradbury. In 1978, he married
Edith Baker, who survives. He worked as a high lift operator at Brooks Construction, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Antwerp.
Also surviving are three sons, Matt and Mike, both of Antwerp, and Eric, Paulding; his parents, Antwerp; a sister, Selena Snider, Antwerp; two brothers, Darren, of Hicksville and Shelton, Antwerp; and a granddaughter.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. Burial is in St. Paul's cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today in Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the family.
Loretta Kelley
SWANTON - Loretta Lynn Kelley, 36, Swanton, died Wednesday, as a result of a traffic accident.
She was a 1984 graduate of Liberty Center High School and attended Neapolis Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne; two daughters, Amanda and Nichole, both at home; a son, Loyd, at home; her mother, Gladys Girardot, Liberty Center; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Judy) Coulter and Mrs. Jim (Bonnie) Rife, both of Kentucky, Mrs. Bill (Rose) of Lake City, Mich., and Mrs. Paul (Amy) Herman, Liberty Center; and a brother, Troy Girardot, Liberty Center.
Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday in the church with Rev. Pete Chesnut officiating. Burial is in Swanton cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Biehl-Malone Funeral Home, Swanton, and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday in the church.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
Doris Holley
Doris A. Holley, 89, Defiance, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Defiance Hospital.
She was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Defiance, the daughter of Glen and Nettie (Diamond) Brubaker. In 1933, she married
Carrol Holley, who died in 1973. She was a secretary for Johns Manville Corp. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Child Study League.
Surviving are a son, James, Defiance; a daughter, Mrs. William (Carol Ann) Rufner, Defiance; a sister, Marguerite Pearson, St. Augustine, Fla.; and five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Fredrick, a sister, Lura Roebuck; and a granddaughter and great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Braun officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today.
Preferred memorials are to the Leukemia Association or the church.
V. LaMar Gisel
ARCHBOLD - V. LaMar Gisel, 63, Archbold, died Wednesday evening in his home. Among survivors is his wife, Patty. Arrangements are pending at Short Funeral Home, Archbold.
Shirley Davis
FAYETTE - Shirley M. Davis, 67, Fayette, died Tuesday in Archbold.
She was born April 2, 1934, in Hudson, Mich., the daughter of Roy and Alva (Moore) Myers. She retired from Fayette Tubular.
Surviving are a son, Rick, Wauseon; three daughters, Cynthia Beckett of Defiance, Nancy Hollstein of Archbold and Mrs. Matthew (Brenda) McCarty, Fayette; a sister, Mrs. William (Joyce) Ashbeck, Hudson; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Eagle Funeral Home, Fayette, with Bob Weinert officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Union cemetery, Fayette. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
Berniece Guingrich
FORT WAYNE - Former Paulding County resident Berniece A. Guingrich, 86, Fort Wayne, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday in Life Care Center, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 15, 1915, in Payne, the daughter of August and Verda (Essex) Dreifke. In 1940, she married
Robert Guingrich, who survives. She was a stock and bond clerk for Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. for 30 years, before retiring in 1980, and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Fort Wayne.
Also surviving are two daughters, Ellen Rae Harrison of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Franklin (Roberta) Geist, Saxtons River, Vt.; a sister, Edith Dreifke, Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Helen Shaw; and a brother, Carl Dreifke.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Rev. Paul Coats officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. Friday and 8-11 a.m. Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to the church.

NAPOLEON - Mac Arthur Gibson, 59, Napoleon, died Wednesday afternoon in his home. Arrangements are pending at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.
Wilbert Pringle
NAPOLEON - Wilbert (Bill) R. Pringle, 66, Napoleon, died Wednesday afternoon in Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. Arrangements are pending at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.
Robert Rupp
WAUSEON - Robert W. Rupp, 77, Wauseon, died Wednesday morning in his home from cancer.
He was born May 25, 1924, in Elmira, the son of Menno and Edna (Leu) Rupp. In 1946, he married
Doris Lauber, who survives. He was a farmer, a foreman at Perfection Finishing Corp., Wauseon, and raised hogs until retiring in 1989. He was a former member of Wauseon Evangelical Church and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Archbold, and Pettisville American Legion. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS New Orleans in the South Pacific during World War II.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Don (Jane) Smucker, Perrysburg; three sons, Thomas of Wauseon, Richard of Tiffin and Robert, Shreve; a sister, Mrs. Jim (Gladys) Borton, Wauseon; and six grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Orville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church with Rev. David Voll officiating. Burial will be in Lauber Hill cemetery, Archbold. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today and 3-9 p.m. Friday in Short Funeral Home, Archbold.
Preferred memorials are to the church, Hospice of Williams and Fulton County or a charity of the donor's choice.
Duane Alexander
EDON - Duane E. Alexander, 76, rural Edon, died at 5:22 a.m. Tuesday in Medical College of Ohio Hospital's rehabilitation department, Toledo, following an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 6, 1925, near Edgerton, the son of Guy and Suzanne (Prediger) Alexander. In 1950, he married
LaRue Herman, who survives. He was a welder with Challenge Cook, Bryan, and a farmer. He had been a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Blakeslee and a former member of Knights of Columbus and Farm Bureau.
Also surviving are three sons, Conrad of Edon, Kerry of Staunton, Va., and Kevin, Toledo; two daughters, Mrs. James (Cheryl) Wilson of Defiance and Mrs. James (Karyn) Keilholz, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Ned (Norma Jean) Giffey, Napoleon; two brothers, Richard of Milan, Mich., and Roger, Napoleon; and nine grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were four brothers, Herbert, Robert, Denver and Walter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with Father Frederick Duschl officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites conducted by Edon American Legion Post 662. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Krill Funeral Home, Edon, with a scripture service at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Medical College of Ohio Hospital.
Henry Damman
NAPOLEON - Former Hamler resident Henry F. Damman, 84, Napoleon, died Tuesday afternoon at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Napoleon.
He was born July 20, 1917, in Henry County's Freedom Township, the son of Fred and Frieda (Bostelman) Damman. In 1938, he married
Alma Tietje, who died in 1996. He worked at Home Oil, Napoleon, and managed Neuhauser Hatchery, Hamler, for 27 years. He owned, managed and trained harness horses and was a member of United States Trotting Association and St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Hamler, where he served as church council member and trustee.
Surviving are a son, Robert, Hamler; three daughters, Mrs. James (Barbara) Nagel and Jeanette, both of Napoleon, and Shirley Junge, Plymouth, Ind.; four brothers, Victor of Napoleon, Walter of San Francisco, Arnold of Fremont and Johannes, Wauseon; three sisters, Mrs. Loren (Luella) Beck of Gibsonburg, Mrs. Mylo (Pauline) Gerken of Ayersville and Mrs. Kenneth (Kathleen) Gerken, Napoleon; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Franklin.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. James Budke officiating. Burial will be in Hope-St. Stephen Lutheran cemetery, Hamler. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Thursday in Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church, Hospice of Henry Country or a charity of the donor's choice.
Charlotte Sitton
PAULDING - Charlotte Sarah Sitton, 75, Paulding, died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday in her home following an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Van Wert County, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Whittenbarger) Foreman. In 1946, she married
Parnell Sitton Sr., who died in January. She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Church, rural Oakwood.
Surviving are four sons, Robert of Hicksville, Gordon of Cecil, Parnell Jr. of Holiday, Fla., and James, Paulding; five daughters, Mrs. Tom (Lorna) Stafford of Paulding, Mrs. Pete (Joyce) Lengvenas of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Ron (Sherry) Hostettler and Mrs. Tom (Jeannie) Thompson, both of Cecil, and Mrs. Steve (Peg) Hobson, Fort Wayne; two brothers, Walter Hagen of Alma, Mich., and Claude Hagen, Blanchard, Mich.; and 23 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Loretta Warner; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Rev. Bobby Branham officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday.
