Nancy Jo Schlosser
STRYKER - Nancy Jo Schlosser, 56, rural Stryker, died Friday morning in her home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Defiance, the daughter of Russel and Phyllis (Chandler) Planson. In 1969, she married Millard Schlosser, who survives. She was owner/operator of Nancy's Gardens.
Also surviving are a son, Michael, Columbus; a daughter, Sarah, Springfield, Mo.; her parents, Defiance; a brother, Jack Planson, Stryker; and two sisters, Penny Gentit of Stryker and Paula Gentit, Sherwood.
Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, with Revs. Gilbert and Rose Lewis officiating. Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. until time of services.
Preferred memorials are to Nancy Schlosser Scholarship Fund, Hospice the Caring Way of Williams and Fulton Counties, Make a Wish Foundation or Cancer Assistance of Williams County.

Dorothy Mae Wheeler
STRYKER - Dorothy Mae Wheeler, 80, Stryker, died Saturday morning in Hillside Country Living, where she had resided for several years.
She was born Aug. 1, 1921, in Waldron, Mich., the daughter of Elwood and Gertie (Double) Towne. In 1939, she married Gilbert Wheeler, who died in 1991. She was a retired United Telephone operator who worked in Archbold and Wauseon.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Carole) Fox Sr., Stryker; a son, Larry, Malinta; a sister, Phila Badgley, Montpelier; a brother, Clint Towne, Anchorage, Alaska; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was an infant son, Dennis.
Services are at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, with Rev. Nick Woodall officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen cemetery, Ransom Township, Hillsdale County, Mich. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until time of services Tuesday.
Preferred memorials are to Friends of Stryker Library, PO Box 137, Stryker, or the Alzheimer's Association.

Mary Cameron
Services for Mary P. Cameron were held Friday at First Church of Christ with Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Stienmetz, Tim Beckwith, Dave Bellaire, Lou Stark, Rol Cameron, and Duane and Stephen Darrah. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Steven Carpenter
Steven W. Carpenter, 42, Defiance, died Thursday evening in Harborside Healthcare, Defiance. Among survivors are his parents, Bernard and Mary Carpenter. Arrangements are pending at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.

Scott Rowe
EDGERTON - Scott Michael Rowe, 32, Edgerton, died at 4:11 p.m. Wednesday in Columbus from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Wednesday afternoon.
He was born Sept. 19, 1969, in Bryan, the son of Harold and Marletta (Ault) Rowe. He was a 1988 graduate of Edgerton High School and 1993 graduate of Owens College, Toledo, with a degree in biomedical electronics. He worked at Guardian Industries, Auburn, Ind., since 1988, was a member of Ohio Mopar Car Association.
Surviving are his parents, Edgerton; a sister, Dawn, Edgerton; two stepsisters, Mrs. James (Julie) Caperton of Bryan and Mrs. David (Cathy) Bowman, Montpelier; and his grandparents, Deloris Ault of Auburn and Harold and Eleanor Rowe, Hicksville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Kevin Orr officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Edgerton. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.

Velma Martin
NAPOLEON - Velma C. Martin, 100, Napoleon, died Saturday at 4 a.m. in Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Napoleon.
She was born July 2, 1901, in Henry County, the daughter of Fred and Kate (Hefflinger) Lust. She was bookkeeper for the former Harper Supply Co. and worked as an accountant for Babcock Plumbing and Walters Collision. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Napoleon, and its Sharon United Methodist Women, Harrison Grange and the former Gleaners.
Surviving are a son, Orville, Pickerington; and a brother, Edward Lust, N.Y.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Florence Bauman.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Roger Fischer officiating. Burial is in Hoy cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Flo Holzer
NAPOLEON - Flo A. Holzer, 91, Napoleon, died early today in Lutheran Home, Napoleon. Arrangements are pending at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.

Roma Thompson
HARLAN, Ind. - Roma L. Thompson, 79, Harlan, died at 9:10 a.m. Thursday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Antwerp, the daughter of Leon and Jessie (Langham) Knapp. In 1946, she married Max Thompson, who survives. She worked at LS Ayers in Fort Wayne, Sheller-Globe in Grabill and Corner Store, Harlan, and was a member of South Scipio United Brethern Church, Harlan.
Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Thiel of Hicksville and Mary Gunka, Dunkirk; four sons, Terry of Indianapolis, Keith of Bloomington, Ill., Frank of Columbia City, and John Kennedy, Antwerp; a brother, Jr. Knapp, Laurinburg, N.C.; and 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Wilma Wolfe; and a granddaughter, Kathy (Thiel) Dunifon.
Services are at 10 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial is in Scipio cemetery, Allen County. Visitation is after 7 p.m. Saturday and after 12 p.m. Sunday in Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church's building fund.

Clarence Hendricks
Clarence (Pete) G. Hendricks, 90, Defiance, died at 3:28 p.m. Sunday in John F. Kennedy Hospital in Palm Beach County, Fla.
He was born April 18, 1911, in Defiance, the son of Peter and Carrie (Wolf) Hendricks. In 1934, he married Dorothy Serrick, who survives. He was general manager of Defiance Screw Machine Products where he worked for 42 years, retiring in 1976. He wintered in Hypoluxa, was a life member of Defiance Elks Lodge 147 and Defiance Rotary and a member of St. John's Catholic Church, where he was an usher.
Also surviving are a son, Leo, Defiance; and two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were three brothers, Webster, Vernon and Fred; and two sisters, Hilda Lepper and Florence Hasch.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Father George Wenzinger officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside cemetery's mausoleum. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance.

Shirley Ullinskey
Shirley J. Ullinskey, 67, Defiance, died at 8:52 p.m. Thursday in Toledo Hospital. Among survivors is her husband, Carl. Arrangements are pending at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.

James Bryant
LIBERTY CENTER - James Allen Bryant, 61, Liberty Center, died Thursday afternoon in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee.
He was born Dec. 26, 1940, in Liberty Center, the son of Paul and Anna (Cymbola) Bryant. In 1986, he married Pamela McClure, who survives. He was a carpenter and owner of Bryant Roofing, retiring in 1997. He was former assistant chief of Liberty Center Volunteer Fire Department and past vice president of River City Rodders, Napoleon.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Kathy) LeRoux, Perrysburg; two sons, Terry of Weston and Tim, Liberty Center; and seven grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Pastor David Bringman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Grand Rapids. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-8 p.m. Saturday. There will be a Henry County Fire Fighters Association memorial service at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to Liberty Center Fire and EMS or a charity of the donor's choice.

Charles Kunkle
STRYKER - Charles Franklin Kunkle, 97, rural Stryker, died Tuesday at his daughter's home in Delta.
He was born April 23, 1904, near West Unity, the son of Levi and LuElla (Stephenson) Kunkle. In 1927, he married Dora Eberly, who died in 1986. He farmed in the Archbold/Stryker area, drove trucks, was a 32-degree Mason and member of Masonic Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo, Blue Lodge 179 and Eastern Star 248, Bryan Chapter.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Barber, Delta; a son, George; and five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Also preceding him in death was a son, Richard.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, with Pastor John Horning officiating. Burial will be in Floral Grove cemetery, West Unity. Visitation is from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday with a Masonic prayer service at 11 a.m.
Preferred memorials are to Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo, Scholarship Funds or a charity of the donor's choice.

Gladys Beck
WAUSEON - Gladys P. Beck, 90, Wauseon, died Wednesday evening at Fulton County Health Center.
She was born June 30, 1911, in Henry County, the daughter of Aaron and Rena (Stutzman) Beck. She was a member of West Fulton Dunkard Brethren Church, Pettisville.
Surviving are two sisters, Leola Beck of Wauseon and Ethel Whitmer, Quinter, Kan.; and a brother, Harold, Archbold.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Elma Jamison and Orpha Beck.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church with Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pettisville cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.
Preferred memorials are to the church.

Gloria Zachrich
Services for Gloria (Lolly) J. Zachrich were held Thursday in St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Luhring officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Music was provided by Jan Kaiser and Mike Kemper. Pallbearers were James Zachrich II, Chris Bethel and Jason, Luke, Colby and Ben Zachrich. Honorary pallbearers were Craig and Mark Monson. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
