Flora Schilling
DECATUR, Ind. - Flora Mae Schilling, 93, Decatur, died at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday in Woodcrest, Decatur.
She was born June 8, 1908, in El Higo, Mexico, the daughter of Rev. William and Judith (Schindler) Egle. In 1930, she married
Rev. Clarence Zimmerman, who died in 1935. In 1948, she married
Thomas Garner, who died later that year. In 1950, she married
Arden Schilling, who died in 1988. She graduated from Fort Wayne Bible School in 1928 and did post-graduate work. She was a ward clerk at St. Mary's Hospital, Tucson, Ariz., and worked at Decatur Industries, Decatur Casting and at various places in Berne. She was a member of First Missionary Church, Decatur.
Surviving are two sons, David Zimmerman of Mesa, Ariz., and Clarence Zimmerman, Hicksville; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Wauneta) Reinhart, Decatur; two stepdaughters, Mrs. William (Pat) Meyers of Delphos and Mrs. James (Marilyn) Frey, Decatur; a stepson, Thomas Garner, Decatur; a sister, Helen Stahly, Lincoln, Neb.; and 13 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Earl and Ervin Egle; five stepbrothers, Henry, Daniel, Jesse, Herman and Elmer Egle; and four stepsisters, Emma Merryman, Bertha Egle, Ruth Eaton and Esther Meister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with Rev. Henry Favorite officiating. Burial will be in MRE cemetery, Berne. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday.

Reynaldo Jimenez Jr.
Services for Reynaldo V. Jimenez Jr. were held Tuesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Tracy officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Jimenez, Angel and Dustin Perez, Gamli Arce, Travis Cantrell and Jay Esparza.
Danielle Eitniear
BRYAN - Danielle Ann Corrine Eitniear, 18, Bryan, died Sunday from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident in Defiance County.
She was born July 20, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of David Eitniear Sr. and Donna (Cantrell) Myers. She graduated from Bryan High School in 2001 and was a hinge operator with Aro Tru-Line, Bryan.
Surviving are her father and stepmother, Tracy Eitniear, Continental; her mother and fiancé, Gary Green, Bryan; a brother, David II, Nettle Lake; a sister, Donna, Bryan; two stepsisters, Nicole Sweet of Continental and Jyssica Green, Bryan; two stepbrothers, Sean and James Sweet, Continental; and grandparents, Dorothy Cantrell of Bryan, Thomas and Jessica Green and Troy and Wanita Grant of Defiance and Keith and Kathy DePew, White Cloud, Mich.
Preceding her in death were grandparents, Jerry and Margaret Eitniear and Charles Cantrell.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rice Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Mark Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Grove cemetery, Bryan. Visitation is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to Mattie Marsh Park Fund.
Olive Motter
BRYAN - Olive P. Motter, 96, Bryan, died Sunday at Dilworth Center, Montpelier.
She was born July 3, 1905, in Defiance County, the daughter of Sol and Carrie (Moon) Andres. In 1931, she married
Marion Motter, who died in 1991. She was a homemaker and member of First Lutheran Church, Bryan.
Surviving are a son, Ronald, Bryan; a daughter, Mrs. John (Rhonda) Simms, McLean, Va.; a sister, Jean Krocke, Sacramento, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evansport cemetery. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Rice Funeral Home, Bryan.
Preferred memorials are to Dilworth Center, Montpelier.
Hazel Wing
CONTINENTAL - Hazel F. Wing, 92, Continental, died at 6 p.m. Sunday in Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa.
She was born March 21, 1909, in Putnam County, the daughter of Daniel and Gertie (Shoemaker) Brecht. In 1930, she married
Robert Wing, who died in 2001. She retired from the former Sylvania in Ottawa, was a member of Ottawa's Trinity United Methodist Church and Sunshine Club and a 50-year member of Pythian Sisters.
Surviving are a son, Halford, Weeki Wachee, Fla.; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Gaylen; a sister, Florence Wolf; and three brothers, Roy, Donald and Ray Brecht.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the church with Rev. Daniel Huther officiating. Burial will be in Center cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, and one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Putnam County Home Health.
Ruby Carr
NAPOLEON - Ruby Carr, 60, Napoleon, died at 9:20 a.m. Monday in her home.
She was born Nov. 16, 1941, in Prentiss County, Miss., the daughter of John and Mattie (Christine) Floyd. In 1956, she married
Archie Carr Sr., who survives. She was a press operator for 25 years at Campbell Soup Supply Co., Napoleon, retiring in 1996, and a member of First Baptist Church, Napoleon.
Also surviving are two sons, Archie Jr. of Deshler and John, Napoleon; a sister, Mrs. Charlie (Barbara) Hillis, Napoleon; and four granddaughters.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a daughter, in infancy.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the church with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to Henry County Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
Paul Bischoff
NORTHWOOD - Former Henry County resident Paul F. Bischoff, 76, Northwood, died Friday at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, Oregon.
He was born April 16, 1925, in Henry County's Freedom Township, the son of Henry and Emma (Gerken) Bischoff. His wife, Betty, survives. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran who served in Iwo Jima, Okinawa and Pearl Harbor from 1943-1946 and received the Purple Heart. He was a truck driver for Gillmore, Matlack and Roadway before retiring in 1976, a member of Christ Dunberger American Legion Post 537, Walbridge VFW Post 9963 and Mount Falcon DAV Chapter.
Also surviving are a three sons, Ron, Rick and Douglas; a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Sandra) Coutcher; three sisters, Regina Knape, Delora Aschemeier and Pauline Rosebrock; and three grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Herman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran Church, Perrysburg. Burial will be private. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today in Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Millbury, and one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church. An American Legion Post 537 service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today.
Edgar Miller
STRYKER - Edgar O. Miller, 70, Stryker, died Monday morning in Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
He was born Jan. 13, 1932, in Moline, Ill., the son of Oliver and Lena (Francis) Miller. In 1954, he married
Roberta Burbridge, who survives. He retired from mechanical maintenance at Orthopedic Hospital, Charlotte, N.C., and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Wauseon.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Deb) Opdycke, Stryker; a son, Dennis, Bryan; two sisters, Joyce Woods of Carbon Cliff, Ill., and Marlene Cramer, Moline; a brother, Roland, Las Vegas; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a son, Mark.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with president Rudy Allen and Kim Beck officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Bethesda cemetery, Hillsdale, Ill. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Thursday in the church. Handling arrangements is Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.
Preferred memorials are to the charity of the family's choice.
Franklin Boyd
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Former Malinta resident Franklin Conrad Boyd, 83, Port Charlotte, died Sunday at St. Joe Hospital, Port Charlotte.
He was born Dec. 4, 1918, in Malinta, the son of Charles and Ada (Conrad) Boyd. In 1961, he married
Kathryn Weddelman Upp, who died in 1984. In 1989, he married
Genevieve Johnson, who survives. He retired from Defiance Hospital as a materials manager, worked at Napoleon Water and Light and served with Ohio National Guard. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Cultural Center Volunteers in Port Charlotte and a former member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Florida, Ohio, and its choir.
Also surviving are a son, Raymond, Melbourne; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Dennis (Louise) Baden of Hamler and Mrs. Craig (Susan) Hoffman, Florida, Ohio; two stepsons, Richard Upp of Houston and David Upp, Dayton; a brother, Carl, Holland; and a grandson, 11 stepgrandchildren and four great-stepgrandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were a stepson, Ronald Upp; two brothers, James and Harry; and two sisters, Emma Hoffman and Lillie Shaffer.
A memorial service will be held in Port Charlotte.

Emma Schoor
Services for Emma K. Schoor were held Monday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Deacon Charles Baker officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim and Dan Engel, Chris Goller, Rich Kaiser, Beryl Copp and Bill Roehrs.
Glen Church
Glen (Honker) R. Church, 60, rural Defiance, died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday in Defiance Hospital.
He was born Nov. 17, 1941, in Grundy, Va., the son of Robert and Linnie (Dales) Church. In 1961, he married
Nelma Childress, who survives. He was a millwright at GM Powertrain for 32 years, retiring in 1995, and a member of UAW Local 211.
Also surviving are a son, Douglas, Defiance; a daughter, Cleona, Defiance; three sisters, Shelbia Boyd and Stella Osborne, both of Defiance, and Betty Meadows, Grundy; and six grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Corbitt.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Ramey officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Township cemetery, Continental. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Preferred memorials are to American Lung Association.
Lori Baden
Lori A. Baden, 45, Defiance, died Saturday in her home.
She was born Sept. 7, 1956, in Defiance, the daughter of Leo and Nancy (Weisenburger) Yaw. In 1974, she married
Jerry Baden, who survives. She was self-employed with her husband and a member of Second Baptist Church and VFW Post 3360 Auxiliary.
Also surviving are two sons, Christian of Defiance and Jason, Jersey City, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Scott (Susan) O'Brien and Michelle Collins, both of Defiance; and two brothers, Ron Yaw of Defiance and Mike Yaw, Detroit.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Max Begley officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m. Thursday until services and 3-5 p.m. after services.
