Leola Wyse
CEDARVILLE - Word was received of the Jan. 22 death of former Stryker resident Leola A. Wyse, 96, Cedarville.
She was born Oct. 3, 1905, in Stryker, the daughter of Czar and Laura Barnum. She married
Ellis Wyse, who died in 1947. She was receptionist and office manager for many years in the office of Dr. David Crown, Stryker, and a member of First Baptist Church, Stryker, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and member of its Women's Missionary Society.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Nedra) Callan, Cedarville; a son, Dr. Rodney; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a sister, Thelma; and two brothers, Virgil and Donald Barnum.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church with Pastor Daniel Douglas officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Lockport cemetery, Stryker. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday in the church. Handling arrangements is Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker.
Preferred memorials are to the church building fund or Gideon International.
Martha Dillon
HICKSVILLE - Former Napoleon resident Martha M. Dillon, 84, Hicksville, died at 1:50 p.m. Friday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, where she was a patient for the past two weeks.
She was born March 26, 1917, in Altoona, Pa., the daughter of David and Ruth (Bishop) Wagner. She worked for 20 years at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon, before retiring.
Surviving are two sons, Roy Glass of Napoleon and David, Chicago; a daughter, Cecelia Flagal, Hicksville; a brother, Frank Wagner, Altona, Pa.; and 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were two daughters, Carol Rudolph and Cynthia Bunke; and a son, Richard.
A private memorial service will be held at Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, at a later date. There will be no visitation.
Eduarldo Tucker
LIMA - Word was received of the 8:10 p.m. Feb. 16 death of Eduarldo (Slugger) Tucker, 45, Lima, in Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born May 9, 1956, in Lima, the son of Edward and Lucille (Shurelds) Tucker. He was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his fiance, Wendy Heard, Dayton; two sons, Adam Lail and Tyler, both of Cincinnati; two daughters, Malaya Rowe, of Pontiac, Mich., and Ronika Lail, Cincinnati; two stepdaughters, Dyesha and Shawn Scott, both of Dayton; a brother, Jason, of Cincinnati; six sisters, Starlette, Mrs. Joe (Patricia) Latiker, and Mrs. Rodney (Carletta) Jager, all of Milwaukee, Wis., Carmellia, of Lima, Lisa, of Defiance, and Mrs. George (Angela) Winkfield, Cincinnati; and a grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents; parents; and a stepfather, Robert Jefferson Jr.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at the church with Dr. H. Frank Taylor officiating. Burial is in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Lima.

William Plummer
OTTAWA - William A. (Bill) Plummer, 79, Ottawa, died at 10:07 a.m. Friday in his residence.
He was born April 22, 1922, in Grover Hill, the son of Regnal and Alberta (Haspster) Plummer. In 1942, he married
Catherine Sullivan, who survives in Ottawa. He worked at GTE Sylvania, before retiring after 30 years, was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa, life member of Ottawa VFW, Putnam County DAV, served in the U.S. Army in World War II, receiving a Purple Heart.
Surviving are a son, William, Perrysburg; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Bonnie) Conley, Carey; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Johnson of Grover Hill, and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Geething, Marquette Heights, Ill.; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Rex; and a sister, Rosemary.
Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church with Rev. Dan Huther officiating. Burial is in Harman cemetery with military rites conducted by Ottawa VFW. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Monday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to Putnam County Home Health or the church.

Hildagard Bakle
PAYNE - Hildagard Bakle, 85, Payne, died at 1:07 p.m. Thursday in Paulding County Hospital.
She was born Nov. 11, 1916, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Max and Hilma (Jahn) Miller. She married
Joseph Bakle, who died in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Payne.
Surviving are a son, James, Paulding; two sisters, Irma Baron of Decatur, Ind., and Marie Weigand, Port Richey, Fla.; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception cemetery, Cecil. Visitation is after 4 p.m. with a rosary service at 8 p.m. Monday in Slade Funeral Home, Payne.
Preferred memorials are to Dallas Lamb Foundation Home Auxiliary, Payne.
Robert Desgrange
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. - Word was received of the Feb. 5 death of Robert Desgrange, 82, Satellite Beach, Fla., in a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., hospital.
He was born Sept. 28, 1919, in Defiance, the son of Louis and Esther (Ansberry) Desgrange. In 1946, he married
Helen Hutchinson, who died in 1996. He was the owner of Design Graphics in Indian Harbour Beach, a member of East Minster Presbyterian Church and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith Stone, Tallahassee, Fla.; two sons, Robert Jr. and Richard, both of Melbourne, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Annabelle) Brinkman, Defiance; and two grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a son, Phillip.
Services were held Feb. 9 at the church. Burial was in Melbourne, Fla.
Beach Funeral East Chapel handled arrangements.
John Comadoll
Services for John F. Comadoll were held Saturday in Den Herder Funeral Home with Rev. David Meriwether officiating. Burial was in Cooper cemetery. Pall bearers were Ed Luderman, Donald and Harry Manley, George Geyer Jr., David Moore and Ed Antoine.
Nina Colwell
Services for Nina R. Colwell were held Saturday in St. John United Church of Christ with Rev. Alfred Schroeder officiating. Music was provided by organist, Carolyn Small, and soloist, Kathy Bergman. Pallbearers were Bradley Lamb, William Degler Jr., Barton Scott, Edgar Hale, Ray Cattell and Dana Brechbill. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Marie Kauser
Services for Marie E. Kauser were held Saturday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Fathers William Martin and G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial was in St. Paul cemetery, Paulding County. Pallbearers were Marty Hoeffel, John and Jeff Kauser, Sam Bok, Mark Apelt and Jeff Showalter. Mast-Mock-Hoffman was in charge of arrangements.
Carl Browns
Services for Carl W. Browns were held Saturday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Braun and Rev. Keith Hunsinger officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens. Pall bearers were Gary Browns, Lowell and Kenneth Traxler, Kyle and Sean Clark, Walter Coffman, Richard Easley Sr. and Gaylord Proxmire. Honorary pall bearers were Tom Rath, Robert Rettig, Carl Egler Sr., Dave Willeman, Melvin Hoch and Harry Young.
George Lee
George K. Lee, 47, Defiance, died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born June 24, 1954, in Paulding, the son of Billie and Tishie (Partin) Lee. In 1995, he married
Peggy Treat, who survives. He was a meatcutter at Defiance's Kroger and a member of AMVETS Post 1991 and Eagles Aerie 372, both of Defiance.
Also surviving are his mother, Payne; two sons, Brandon of Lima and Shane, New Haven, Ind.; two brothers, Curtis and Jamie, both of Payne; and two sisters, Brenda Johnson of Noblesville, Ind., and Lisa Baker, Paulding.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Slade Funeral Home, Payne, with Rev. James Langham officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to Payne EMS.
John Pannell
John D. Pannell, 58, Defiance, died at 7:37 a.m. Thursday in Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
He was born July 24, 1943, in Mahan, W.Va., the son of Harry and Letha (Bufford) Pannell. He was a clerk at General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1994, and a member of Moose Lodge 2094, Eagles Aerie 372, VFW Post 3360 Dads' Club and UAW Local 211.
Surviving are a son, John II, Defiance; a daughter, Mrs. Brian (Kim) Sampson, Defiance; four brothers, Harry Jr. of Dayton, Charles of Ripley, W.Va., Richard of Oak Hill, W.Va., and Lawrence, Montpelier; a sister, Frances Parrish, Mountain Top, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Robert and Kenneth; and three sisters, Ruth White, Margaret Harris and Tuni Randall.
There will be no services. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society.
Baylee Luderman
HICKSVILLE - Baylee F. Luderman was stillborn Feb. 13 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville.
Surviving are her parents, Theodore and Leslie (Bost) Luderman, Hicksville; grandparents, Doyle Ladd and Rosemary Evans, both of Hicksville, Joseph Bost of Defiance and Brooks and Judy Stephens, Andalusia, Ala.; and great-grandparents, Grace Ladd of Hicksville, Bob and Mary Haley of Defiance and Clyde and Betty Dennis, Napoleon.
Graveside services were held Tuesday in Forest Home cemetery, Hicksville, with Pastor Steven Buttermore officiating. Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, handled arrangements.
