Hanna Gallagher
TEDROW - Hanna M. Gallagher, 83, Tedrow, died Wednesday at Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon.
She was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Hoboken, N.J., the daughter of David and Hilda (Andersen) Gehrken. She was a dispatcher for Palm Beach, Fla., newspapers, a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon, and a charter member of VFW Post 690 Auxiliary, Ashland, Wis.
Surviving are three daughters, Hilda Panarelli of Dunnellon, Fla., and Mrs. Ken (Patricia) Stephens and Mrs. John (Judith) Pfund, both of Tedrow; a son, Peter Sr., Fostoria; and 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, with Father Robert Holden officiating. There is no visitation.
Preferred memorials are to Hands of Grace.
Marissa Mae Salinas
Services for Marissa Mae Salinas were held Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Music was provided by Jim Dunham and Dr. Robert Barnett. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Dan Salinas and Ryan Griffith. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
John Pahl
Services for John (Jack) D. Pahl were held Thursday in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church with Rev. David Koenig officiating. Organist was Steve Basselman. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Retcher, Randy Groll, Robbie Randall, Denny Basselman, Tony Rankin and Tom Greenler. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Margaret Shellenbarger
Margaret C. Shellenbarger, 59, Defiance, died Wednesday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Among survivors is her husband, Richard. Arrangements are pending at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Betty Miller
Betty Miller, 75, Defiance, died Wednesday evening at Harborside Healthcare. Among survivors is her husband, Edward. Arrangements are pending at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Virginia Brenner
Services for Virginia C. Brenner were held Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Music was provided by Jim Dunham and Francis Simonis. Burial was in St. Michael's cemetery with rites conducted by Deacon George Newton. Pallbearers were Don and Greg DeLeonard and Dennis, Tom, Ted and Kenny Batt. Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home handled arrangements.
John Reinhart
MIDWAY, Pa. - John L. Reinhart, 57, Midway, died Tuesday afternoon in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Fostoria, the son of Leonard and Mildred (Schmitz) Reinhart. He was a maintenance supervisor for Norfolk & Southern Railroad for more than 30 years and a member of Port Conneaut Yacht Club.
Surviving are his mother, New Riegel; three sons, Leonard and John, both of Salem, and Gary Vera, Tiffin; two brothers, Robert of New Riegel and William, Alvada; five sisters, Susan Schlachter of Defiance, Jane Carbone of Canton, Mich., Nancy Sites of Bloomdale, Mary Voigt of Findlay and Carol Reinhart, San Diego, Calif.; his companion, Linda Bauer, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his father; a sister, Linda Ulrich; and a brother, Larry.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter Catholic Church, Alvada, with Father Leonard Kistler officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Parish cemetery, Alvada. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday in Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria. There will be a wake service at 4 p.m. Friday in the funeral home and a rosary service at 10:10 a.m. Saturday in the church.

Duane Brubaker
PERRYSBURG - Henry County native Duane Brubaker, 85, Perrysburg, died Monday.
He was born March 12, 1916, in Henry County's Flatrock Township, the son of Hugh and Mary (Garver) Brubaker. He married
Juanita Myrice, who survives. He graduated from Northwestern Business College, Lima, worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Toledo until 1972, and Tice and Associates as an accountant and auditor for 20 years, retiring in 1990. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member and former master of Northernlight Lodge 40 F&AM, Ft. Miami-Calument 191 Royal Arch Masons and Zenobia Shrine and former treasurer of Stewarts Unit, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, St. Omer Commadary. He was a former president of TPVA and Ann Grady Center and Foundation and had the Brubaker Vocational building, Tiffin Center, Tiffin, named after him by the state of Ohio.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Caryl) Szychowski, Perrysburg; a son, James, Wilmington; two brothers, Wendell of Elida and John, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Hope) Wichman, Defiance; and four grandsons.
Preceding him in death was a son, Kevin.
Services were held at 11 a.m. today in Church of St. Andrew United Methodist, Toledo. Burial was in Toledo Memorial Park cemetery. Handling arrangements was Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, Toledo.
Preferred memorials are to church; Tiffin Center MR/DD, 600 N. River Road, Tiffin; or Zenobia Shrine hospitals.
Barbara Shroyer
Barbara E. Shroyer, 82, Defiance, died at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday in Laurels of Defiance.
She was born Oct. 5, 1919, in Delphos, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel (Boardman) Edwards. In 1941, she married
James Shroyer, who died in 1994. She was an officer and co-owner of Putnam Stone Co., Ottawa, and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Peoria, Ill., and Tony, Defiance; and three grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a son, James.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Walnut Grove cemetery, Delphos, with Rev. David Good officiating. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
Margene Weller
CONTINENTAL - Margene Weller, 85, Continental, died at 2:51 p.m. Monday in Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 2, 1916, in Putnam County's Perry Township, the daughter of Clyde and Edna (Halbgewoks) Carder. In 1942, she married
Dale Weller, who died in 1980. She was a retired farmer and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Continental, Putnam County Cooperative Extension's advisory board, Putnam County Council on Aging Inc. and the former Continental Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Judy) Kahle, Ottawa; a son, Jon, Lakeport, Mich.; a sister, Helen Marriott, Continental; a brother, John Carder, Defiance; and five grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a sister, Eleanore Carder.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, with Rev. Greg Wack officiating. Burial will be in Monroe cemetery, Continental. Visitation is after 1 p.m. Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to Putnam County Council on Aging or Putnam County Home Health.
Steve Ellis
FORT WAYNE - Steve E. Ellis, 48, Fort Wayne, died Tuesday in his home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1953, in Fort Wayne, the son of Donald and M. Joan (Armstrong) Ellis. He was a machine operator at Custom Tube Machine and had worked at Archway Cookies Inc. for 18 years. He attended Broadway Christian Church, Fort Wayne.
Surviving are his mother, Fort Wayne; a brother, Larry, Avilla, Ind.; and three sisters, Mary Ann Ashton of Boca Raton, Fla., Rebecca Stephens of Conifer, Colo. and Connie Schoeff, Fort Wayne.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

Mazie Breece
LEIPSIC - Mazie Lou Breece, 74, Leipsic, died at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday in Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
She was born June 19, 1927, in Deshler, the daughter of Walter and Grace (Myers) Kuhnash. In 1946, she married
Robert Breece, who died in 2001. She was a retired laborer at SCM-Allied Egry in Leipsic, a member of Findlay DAV Post and First Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school.
Surviving are a son, Thomas, Leipsic; four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Linda) Nienberg of Ottawa, Mrs. Terry (Bonnie) Phillips of Benton Ridge, Mrs. Lonnie (Julia) Ley of Findlay and Virginia Schneeg, Ottawa; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also proceeding her in death were her parents; a son, Edward; a brother, Walter Kuhnash; and a sister, Lois Rosebrock.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa, with Revs. George Zornow and Ken Pollitz officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Ridge cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today in Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the First Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association.
Virginia Russell
NAPOLEON - Virginia L. Russell, 81, Napoleon, died Monday afternoon at Toledo Hospital.
She was born July 1, 1920, in Stryker, the daughter of Lewis and Clara (Meyers) Sinkey. In 1940, she married
Burdette Russell, who died in 1998. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a former member of Rebekah Lodge, Napoleon.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Barbara) Schweinhagen; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Vernon, Wayne and Donald Sinkey; a sister, Marjorie Kuszmaul; a half brother, Jesse Hodge; two half sisters, Dorothy Kimble and Mildred Kryling.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Rev. Michael Westbay officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today.
Preferred memorials are to Napoleon Rescue, the church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Services for Leona L. Bunsold were held Tuesday in St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Luhring officiating. Organist was Jan Kaiser. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Keith Belau, Dick Geiger, Bill and John Bunsold, Harland Duerk and George Kaiser. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Marissa Salinas
Marissa Mae Salinas, 1, Defiance, died at 9:35 a.m. Monday in Defiance Hospital.
She was born Sept. 28, 2000, in Toledo, the daughter of David and Julie (Griffith) Salinas, who survive.
Also surviving are a brother, Austin, at home; her grandparents, Vincent and Mina Salinas of Defiance and Donald and Joyce Griffith, Amherst; and great-grandparents, Taurino and Josefa Gonzalez of Defiance and Eugene and Martha Griffith, Amherst.
Proceeding her in death was a grandmother, Marilyn Griffith.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
