Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rice-Burr Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Ken Bedell officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Grove cemetery, Bryan. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.

LIBERTY CENTER - John Edwin Gearig Sr., 72, Liberty Center, died Thursday evening in his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church, Napoleon, with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh cemetery, Delta. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center.

NEWTON SQUARE, Pa. - Martha W. Wilhelm Friel, 86, Newtown Square, died Tuesday in Dunwoody Village, Newton Square.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Grace Episcopal Church, Defiance, with Rev. Howard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance.

Services for Goldie M. Weber were held Thursday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Barnett officiating. Burial was in Ney cemetery. Pallbearers were Leroy and Lee Bayliss, Larry Schultz, Ryan and Chris Fix and Lawrence Kunesh.

FORT WAYNE - Bryan native Theda (Teddy) M. Smith, 78, Fort Wayne, died at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday in Woodview Healthcare, Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home's Wayne Street Chapel, Fort Wayne, with Rev. Don Kleinschmidt officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services Saturday.

MONTPELIER - Kenneth L. Beck, 94, Montpelier, died this morning in Dilworth Center of Community Hospitals of Williams County-Montpelier, following an extended illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier, with Rev. Robert Damschroder officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Montpelier. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday.

HOLGATE - Services for Dallis L. Lusk will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, with Dr. Roger Braun officiating. Burial will be in Sherman cemetery, Paulding County. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Friday. A Masonic service will be at 7:30 p.m. today.
Mary Cameron
Mary P. Cameron, 52, Defiance, died at 3:47 a.m. Wednesday in Defiance Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1949, in Defiance, the daughter of Robert and Kathleen (Barnhill) Hammon. She was an inspector at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon, and a member of First Church of Christ.
Surviving are her mother, Defiance; a son, Robert, Defiance; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Tracy) Traush, Paulding; a brother, Jim Hammon, Bowling Green; a sister, Judy Hohenberger, Defiance; and eight grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her father.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Friday at the church. Handling arrangements is Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.

HOLGATE - Robert Cordes, 50, Holgate, died Tuesday in Henry County Hospital, Napoleon. Arrangements are pending at Snyder Funeral Home, Holgate.
Thomas Breece
LEIPSIC - Thomas Lee Breece, 51, Leipsic, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.
He was born Jan. 24, 1951, in Lima, the son of Robert and Mazie (Kuhnash) Breece. He worked at Whirlpool Corp., Findlay, and was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Louis (Linda) Nienberg and Virginia Schneeg, both of Ottawa, Mrs. Terry (Bonnie) Phillips of Benton Ridge and Mrs. Lonnie (Julia) Ley, Findlay.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. Ken Pollitz officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Ridge cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Thursday in Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic, and one hour prior to services Friday in the church.

Carl Wood
Carl E. Wood, 88, Defiance, died at 11:40 p.m. Saturday in Defiance Hospital.
He was born Sept. 21, 1913, in Rockford, the son of Charles and Maggie (Snyder) Wood. In 1935, he married
Viola Beldon, who died in 1986. In 1990, he married
Bernice Franz, who survives. He was a mixer at Brown's Bakery for 35 years and an employee at State Bank and Trust for 30 years. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Defiance Hospital Auxiliary, Elks Lodge 147, Eagles Aerie 372, UCT and Civilian Conservation Corps.
Also surviving are four sons, Bob of Fremont, Chuck of Coldwater, Mich., Bill of Defiance, and Wayne, Janesville, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Jane) Gasperak, New Bern, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Patty Linebrink, Defiance; a stepson, Keith Thieroff, Grand Prairie, Texas; and 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and 11 great-step grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Clyde and Ervin; and a sister, June Hinkle.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church with Rev. Todd Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Mercer County. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
