Marie Mason
DELTA - Marie T. Mason, 63, rural Delta, died Thursday morning in her home.
She was born June 22, 1938, in Toledo, the daughter of Anthony and Theresa (Birch) Urban. In 1971, she married
Ralph Mason, who survives. She worked at Beroski's Greenhouse.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Sheila) Buss of Dayton and Mrs. Joseph (Michele) Tammerine, Toledo; three sons, Jeff and Stacy Werner, both of Dayton, and Kevin Werner, Swanton; a brother, Anthony Urban, Swanton; a sister, Joanne Brill, Annapolis, Md.; and 10 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, with Father Paul Woelfe S.J. officiating. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice of Fulton and Williams Counties.
Donna Antigo
MONTPELIER - Donna Louise Antigo, 57, Montpelier, died Thursday morning from injuries received in a two-vehicle accident in Williams County.
She was born March 19, 1944, in Steubenville, the daughter of Delbert and Viola (Birkhimer) Cunningham. In 1969, she married
Bradley Antigo Sr., who survives. She was a former waitress at Gio's Rest, Weirton, W.Va., and a member of Rock of Ages Church, Defiance.
Also surviving are four sons, Bradley Jr., Mark, Ronald and Eric, all of Bryan; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Alberta) Starr of Weirton and Mrs. Bill (Carla) Robinson, Montpelier; a brother, Robert Cunningham, Weirton; a sister, June Fisher, New Cumberlain, W.Va.; and 18 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Rice Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Robert Dean officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Grove cemetery, Bryan. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to Donna L. Antigo memorial fund.
Roman Colyer
NEY - Roman D. Colyer, 67, Ney, died Wednesday morning from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident in Defiance County.
He was born July 11, 1934, in Jackson, Mich., the son of Etienne and Helen (Jaworski) Colyer. In 1979, he married
Mary Goebel, who survives. He retired after 40 years with Local 333 Plumbers and Pipefitters, Jackson. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Moose Lodge 1064 and Eagles Aerie 2233, all of Bryan.
Also surviving are a son, Christopher, Coldwater, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. Bob (Mary) Daniels of Northville, Mich., and Mrs. Paul (Susan) Franck, Mrs. Dennis (Julie) Wyatt and Mrs. Steve (Annette) Scarpino, all of Jackson; three stepsons, Steven Jerger of Olathe, Kan., and Joseph and Randy Jerger, both of Bryan; and 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Rice Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Charles Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Ney cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service.
Preferred memorials are to the church building fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
Albert VanHeck
WATERVILLE - Former Colton resident Albert Junior VanHeck, 59, Waterville, died this morning in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee.
He was born Nov. 4, 1941, in Liberty Center, the son of Albert and Clara (Murphy) VanHeck. He was a truck driver for the city of Napoleon for more than 20 years, retiring in 1995.
Surviving are a stepsister, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Knepper, Napoleon; and two stepbrothers, Eugene Diemer of Napoleon and Leslie Diemer, Holgate.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Pastor Bob Manuel officiating. Burial will be in Heath cemetery, Colton. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to Colton United Methodist Church or Diabetes Foundation.
Elouise Hendricks
ALVORDTON - Elouise Marcile Hendricks, 80, Alvordton, died Wednesday evening in her home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Williams County, the daughter of Verne and Bertha (Dohm) Stiving. In 1941, she married
Gerald Hendricks, who survives. She graduated from Defiance College in 1967 with a degree in elementary education and was a teacher in Superior, Pioneer, Kunkle and Riverdale schools, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Lick Creek Church of the Brethren in Bryan, serving as a deacon and deacon emeritus. She was past president of Northwest Ohio District Women's Fellowship of the Brethren Church and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma-Delta Zeta Chapter, Forest Mothers Study Club and Ohio and Williams County Retired Teachers' association.
Also surviving are three sons, Charles of Davenport, Fla., Rodney of Pioneer and Morris, New Bavaria; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Richard and Robert Stiving; and a sister, Margaret Sweet.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the church with Rev. David Miller officiating. Burial will be in Floral Grove cemetery, Pioneer. Visitation is from 2-7 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Rice Funeral Home, Bryan, and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Thomas Kiefer
McCLURE - Thomas C. Kiefer, 86, McClure, died Wednesday afternoon in Heartland of Wauseon.
He was born April 30, 1915, in Bernie, Mo., the son of John and Minnie Kiefer. In 1947, he married
Lillian Russell, who survives. He served in World War II, worked at Toledo's Jeep plant before retiring in 1980 and was a member of Toledo's Disabled American Veterans Post.
Also surviving are a son, Thomas, Lambertville, Mich.; three daughters, Teresa McLove of Grand Rapids, Deanna of Whitehouse and Cheryl, Lafayette, Colo.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Russell; and five sisters, Cleo Pittman, Charity Montgomery, Emma Hervey, Juanita Kiefer and Gertrude Allen.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Rev. Brian Haller officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
Paul Gamble
WAUSEON - Paul L. Gamble, 82, Wauseon, died Wednesday in Heartland of Wauseon following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 7, 1919, in Wauseon, the son of Art and Byrd (Showalter) Gamble. In 1950, he married
Pauline Vollmer, who survives. He was a rural carrier with the Wauseon Post Office for 40 years and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II in the European Theater. He was a past member of the 40 & 8 Club and Drum and Bugle Corps and a member of First Christian Church, F&AM and American Legion Post in Wauseon, Norwalk VFW Post, Purple Heart Society and National Rural Letter Carriers.
Also surviving are two sons, Rodney of North Canton and Larry, Maumee; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Maynard; and two sisters, Janette Mann and Norma Gamble.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the church with Rev. E. Keith Oditt officiating. Burial will be in Wauseon Union cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Wauseon Fire and EMS.
Richard LaFountain Sr.
PAULDING - Richard (Jeff) J. LaFountain Sr., 87, Paulding, died at 11:05 a.m. Thursday in Defiance Hospital.
He was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Swanton, the son of Joseph and Alice (Collet) LaFountain. In 1939, he married
IIa Aten, who survives. He was a lineman for Paulding-Putnam Electric Co. for 41-years, retiring in 1980, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulding, its Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of Paulding County Genealogy Society and John Paulding Historical Society and aided in the founding of Paulding's LaFountain Park.
Also surviving are five sons, Joseph and R. John Jr., both of Paulding, Thomas of Arthur, Jean of Wauseon and Mark, LaCruces, N.M.; three daughters, Laurel Minck of Defiance, Mrs. Ronald (Rose Marie) Davidson of Antwerp and Mrs. Lynn (Carole) Williams, Oklahoma City; and 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were an infant daughter, Christine; a brother, Clarence; a sister, Margaret Essing; and two grandsons and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Sunday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Monday in the church. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to LaFountain Park, Paulding.
Larry Manahan
Services for Larry Manahan were held Thursday in St. Paul United Methodist Church with Revs. Todd Anderson and Suzanne Allen officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens with military rites accorded by VFW Post 3360. Music was provided by Martie Kindinger and Craig Andrews. Pallbearers were Joel and Ian Manahan, Paul Voight, Fred Schultz, Roger Reece and Steve Snavely. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Velma Nestor
HICKSVILLE - Velma N. Nestor, 85, Hicksville, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in Hickory Creek of Hicksville.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with Pastor David Long officiating. Burial will be in Six Corners cemetery, Hicksville. Visitation is after 6 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to Defiance County Senior Services Auxiliary.
Mikayla Bowers
OTTAWA - Mikayla Lynn Bowers was stillborn at 11:48 p.m. Tuesday in St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in New Creation Church, Ottawa, with Rev. Ken Pollitz officiating. Burial will be in Harman cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation is one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Handling arrangements is Love Funeral Home, Ottawa.
Irvin Flory
NAPOLEON - Former Hamler resident Irvin H. Flory, 94, Napoleon, died Wednesday night at Henry County Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Hamler with Rev. Budke officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Snyder Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon.
Preferred memorials are to the church scholarship fund, County Home Society, Patrick Henry Athletic Association or Hamler Heritage Society.
