Thomas Kuhlman
NEW CLEVELAND - Thomas A. Kuhlman, 84, New Cleveland, died at 10:40 p.m. in St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Aug. 4, 1916, in Putnam County's Liberty Township, the son of Adolph and Dorothy (Schroeder) Kuhlman. In 1940, he married
Ruth Lammers, who died in 1993. In 1994, he married
Thelma (Niese) Rosengarten, who survives. He was a retired farmer and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, its Holy Aid Society, Ottawa Eagles aerie and Ottawa Knights of Columbus.
Also surviving are four sons, Stanley and Anthony, both of New Cleveland, Daniel of Ottawa and Robert, West Bloomfield, Mich.; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Vennekotter and Mrs. Dan (Kathleen) Kern, both of Continental, Mrs. Jim (Elaine) Laudick of Kalida and Mrs. Larry (Charlotte) Salisbury and Mrs. Ken (Susan) Verhoff, both of New Cleveland; four stepsons, William Rosengarten of Circleville, Dick Rosengarten of McClure and Paul and Keith Rosengarten, both of Miller City; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Norm (Diane) Schulte of Kalida, Mrs. Leroy (Bonnie) Kahle of Miller City and Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Karhoff, Pandora; two brothers, John of New Cleveland and Adolph Jr., Lima; a sister, Mrs. Leander (Betty) Nuveman, Ottawa; and 28 grandchildren, 20 stepgrandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-stepgrandchildren.
Preceding him in death were five brothers, Bill, Norbert, Cyril, Ralph and Ambrose; four sisters, Marcella Lehman, Esther Lammers, Mary Niese and Rose Warniment; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with Father Robert DeSloover officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-9 p.m. Friday in Love Funeral Home, Ottawa. On Friday there will be a scripture service at 3:30 p.m., an Ottawa Eagles service at 7:30 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus service at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Helen Rohe
STRYKER - Helen L. Rohe, 87, Stryker, died Tuesday evening in Community Hospitals of Williams County-Bryan.
She was born April 12, 1913, in Toledo, the daughter of Edward and Edna (Towers) Drake. She married
John Rohe, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Stryker United Methodist Church and Stryker Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Donna) Rau, Montpelier; and 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Carol Hardy and Jane Jay.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, with Rev. Jeff Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Stryker. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Friday.
Preferred memorials are to the church.

James Harmon
Services for James W. Harmon were held Wednesday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Revs. Bryan Maxey and Bill Davis officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery with military rites conducted by VFW Post 3360. Pallbearers were Craig Schaffer, Adam Harmon, Michael Pessefall, Chad and Kenneth Rose and Chuck Runtz.

Madonna Figgins
BRYAN - Madonna Belle Figgins, 74, Bryan, died Sunday in Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton.
She was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Bryan, the daughter of Jack and Alta (Guilinger) McAdams. In 1942, she married
Robert Figgins, who died in 1987. She was a member of AARP and Williams Center Community and cemetery Association, serving as treasurer.
Surviving are a son, Charles, Alexandria, Va.; a brother, Charles McAdams, Aransas Pass, Texas; a half brother, Floyd Ankney, Marion, Ind.; a sister, Esther Reimund, Defiance; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a son, Clifford; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan. Burial will be in Williams Center cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to Williams Center Community Center.

Ronald Dotson
KIRBYVILLE, Mo. - Former Continental resident Ronald R. Dotson, 59, Kirbyville, died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday in his home from lung cancer.
He was born May 29, 1941, in Ohio, the son of Cleatis and C. Maxine (Morrison) Dotson. In 1966, he married
Marsha Mansfield, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Chuck (Tammy) Hays, Springfield; a son, Tim, Springfield; four brothers, Danny, Terry and Tom, all of Continental, and Pat, Defiance; five sisters, Mrs. Daryl (Phyllis) Passeno of Rockford, Mich., Mrs. Frank (Carol) Dunifon, Sandra Carnahan and Mrs. Tom (Linda) Fulmer, all of Continental, and Cindy Dotson, Grand Rapids; and a grandson.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
There will be no services. Visitation is from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Welchel Funeral Home, Forsyth.

Rita McMenamin
NAPOLEON - Rita J. Fortner McMenamin, 83, Napoleon, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mary Jo Marlow, Grand Rapids.
She was born Nov. 27, 1917, in Toledo, the daughter of Clarence and Otillia (Yeager) Meiring. In 1940, she married
Crowner Fortner, who died in 1965. In 1971, she married
Frank McMenamin, who died in 2000. She worked at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon, for 12 years, retiring in 1970, and was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 300 and VFW Post 8218, both of Napoleon. She was also a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Napoleon, its Altar Rosary Society and served as a lay and eucharistic minister.
Surviving are four sons, Greg Fortner of Jacksonville, Fla., Joseph Fortner of Omaha, Neb., Robert Fortner of Holland and Richard, Waterville; two daughters, Mrs. Randy (Mary Jo) Marlow of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Jud (Nancy) Lanzer, Columbus; a brother, Thomas Meiring, Toledo; and 19 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Timothy Fortner; a brother, James Meiring; and a sister, Constance Meiring.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church with Father Ron Brickner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with a scripture service at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the Sara Fortner Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.

Richard Flaugh
PAYNE - Richard Flaugh, 71, Payne, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Paulding County Hospital, Paulding.
He was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Fort Wayne, the son of Harry and Orpha (Reed) Flaugh. In 1954, he married
Ethel Marquiss, who survives. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict and retired from Northern Indiana Public Services Co., Fort Wayne. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Payne, Flat Rock F&AM Lodge 580 and Antwerp VFW Post 5087.
Also surviving are three sons, Rick of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mark of Payne and Scott, Grants Pass, Ore.; two daughters, Cheryl Williams and Karen Williams, both of Payne; a brother, Roy, Payne; and 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the church with Rev. Amy Haines officiating. Burial will be in Lehman cemetery, Payne, with military rites conducted by VFW Post 5087. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday in Slade Funeral Home, Payne.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Paulding Area Visiting Nurses.

Services for Florence A. Moser were held Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Rev. David Tscherne officiating. Music was provided by Sister Margie Verhoff. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank and Louis Simonis, Ed and Bernard Wisda, Ron McDonald and Jim Shock. Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Raymond Anderson
STRYKER - Raymond (Andy) Roger Anderson, 76, Stryker, died Monday morning in his home following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Mark Center, the son of Raymond and Pauline (Locy) Anderson. In 1951, he married
Jane Fetters, who survives. He was manager of the Stryker Lumber Co. from 1950-1971 and co-owner of Bryan Building Center until he retired in 1989. He was a U.S. Navy Air Force veteran serving in the South Pacific and a member of Stryker's Yackee-Strong American Legion Post and Sherwood F&AM Lodge 620. He was a former member of Stryker Fire Department and Stryker Rotary and served on Stryker Village Council.
Surviving are two sons, Rex of Richmond, Ky., and Jack, Sylvania; two daughters, Mrs. Nick (Susan) Wlasiuk Jr. of Archbold and Mrs. Denny (Karen) Wlasiuk, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and seven grandchildren, a stepgrandchild and a great-stepgrandchild.
Preceding him in death was a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, with Rev. Ernest Belella officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood cemetery with military rites accorded by Yackee-Strong American Legion Post. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
