Mrs. George was born on Feb. 24, 1939 in Coeburn, Virginia.
She was a member of Wayside Temple in Castalia.
On April 19, 1956, Rochelle married
Cal George and he survives as do their children, David (Nicole) George of Vickery and Wanda (William) Kerns of Dayton.
Mrs. George is also survived by her siblings, Norman (Cherie) Troutt of Dayton; Frieda (Jim) Stierhoff of Huron; Janice (Edward) Petrik of Westlake; Danny Hicks of Arizona; Shelia Spera of Florida; Sharon (Jeff) DuBois of Sandusky; and Teresa Hansen of Connecticut. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Aretta Troutt and her step father, Roy Hicks.
David A. VanFleet

Mr. VanFleet was a member of New Hope Church in Naples, Florida and the Bellevue Alliance Church in Bellevue. He was a Sunday school teacher, involved with the Fish and Loaves, and conducted numerous Bible studies with children since 1974. He had spent two years in the mission field in Haiti. He volunteered at the soup kitchen in Sandusky and as a Bellevue track timer. He was very involved in Redmen sports. He was an avid fisherman and a licensed guide on Lake Erie. He loved gardening, reading, and was dedicated to people and their needs. He loved his children and grandchildren.
Mr. VanFleet worked for the Nickel Plate/Norfolk & Southern Railroad for over 42 years, retiring in 1998. He also was a charter boat captain on his boat, Amazing Grace, on Lake Erie.
He married
Barbara (Velliquette) VanFleet on June 21, 1958 and she survives.
Also surviving are two children, Kim (Darryl) More of Norwalk and Kip (Jill) VanFleet of Bellevue; grandchildren, Jonathan More, Jordan More, Troy VanFleet, Shauna VanFleet, Tyler VanFleet, Jessica Cook, Ryan Cook; and brother, Lynn (Marlene) VanFleet of Clyde.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Doris Tea, Winifred Boyer, Mary Ida VanFleet, Edwin VanFleet, Louis VanFleet, John VanFleet, Vernon VanFleet, Robert VanFleet.

Marjorie A. Danklefsen

Mrs. Danklefsen was born on Bellevue to the now deceased Carl and Marguerite (Hergert) Klein. She was a 1943 graduate of the Bellevue High School and was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Marjorie was a life member of the Bellevue Society of the Arts; a member of the Friends of the Library; and formerly a member of the Bellevue Garden Club and the Tourist Club. Along with her husband, she operated the former Danklefsen Appliance in Bellevue.
Survivors include her husband, Earl G. Danklefsen, whom she married
on November 11, 1945; a daughter, Janet Klein (Victor Dilda) of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and a son, John Eric (Stacey) Danklefsen of Curtis. Four grandchildren: Matthew; Jill; Aaron; and Jeffery and one great grandson, Dylan survive along with her brother, Robert Klein of Lakeside, Ohio.
She was preceded by a sister, Winifred Wagner and a brother, Edgar Klein.

Betty J. Snyder

Mrs. Snyder was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Ira and Zelma (Hammond) Williams.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde. She graduated from Van Wert High School in 1944. For many years, she was a cook for the Clyde-Green Springs Schools at Vine Street Elementary, the last several years she was the head cook at that cafeteria.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Rod) Harris, Norwalk; and a son, Louis (Nancy) Snyder, Clyde. Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a sister, Helen (John) Ackerman, Spencerville, Ohio also survive.
Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Snyder, whom she married
on Nov. 21, 1945 and he died on June 21, 1986. Two sisters, Marjorie Williams and Clarabelle Snyder; four brothers, Raymond Williams; Paul Williams; Charles Williams and Clarence Williams all preceded her in death.
Memorials To: St. Paul Lutheran Church or Hospice of Sandusky County Memorial Hospital.
Bertie Lou Hatton

She was born in Townsend Township to Cabel and Ruth (Miller) Wiedel, who preceded her in death.
Bertie Lou moved with her family from Clyde to Bryan, Ohio in 1963 and then to Florida in 1976 upon the sudden death of her husband, Delmar L. Hatton. She worked in the Clerk of Court offices in both Sandusky County, Ohio and then Charlotte County, Florida retiring from there in 2000.
Mrs. Hatton is survived by her daughter, Dana Lyn Hunley, Alpharetta, Georgia; her son, Jon Delmar Hatton of Valrico, Florida, and two grandchildren, Kathryn Lyn Hunley and Scott Ryan Hunley.

Texas was born in Bellevue to the late William L. and Naomi M. (Ritchie) Mowery. He attended Scipio Republic, Seneca East Schools and was employed at Whirlpool Corp in Clyde for 37 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary L. (Randy) McNatt of Green Springs; four grandchildren; and siblings: Alma McClanhan, Winner, South Dakota; Glen Mowery, Tiffin; William “Billy” Mowery, Jr., Winner, SD; Colby (Linda) Mowery, Bellevue; Terry Mowery, Republic, Ohio; Shirley Wilson, Clifton, Kansas; Pamela Messersmith, Fostoria; Anthony C. Mowery-Boyd, Crestwood, Ky.; and his former wife, Ellen M. Weisnauer, Bucyrus.
John A. Pearson

Mr. Pearson is survived by his mother, Kathryn (Baker) Pearson, Fremont; a daughter, Elizabeth Pearson, Westerville; a son, Shawn A. (Bethany) Pearson, Delaware. Three grandchildren: Alayna, Jonah and Joshua Pearson of Delaware and a brother, Gary (Ricki) Pearson of North Dakota. His former wife, Arlin Saam Pearson survives in Columbus.
His father, Merle Pearson, preceded him in 2002.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Fremont; and was a model train collector and a former crew chief for auto racing, a passion of his. He graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1956; attended Case Institute of Technology from 1956-58 and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1961. He was a physicist and electrical engineer and had worked at The Ohio State University in research.

Leo A. Fisher

Mr. Fisher was born in Sandusky Co., to the late Albert and Frances (Darr) Fisher.
On June 7, 1947 he married
the former Marie Beier and she survives, as do three daughters: Jane (Timothy) Smith, Sandusky; Janet Celek (Tom Haslinger), Fremont; Theresa Quick, Fremont; three sons: Gary (Lori) Fisher, Clyde; Steven (Mary Ellen) Fisher, North Olmstead; Mark Fisher, Clyde; fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Five sisters: Sr. Luella Marie SND, Toledo; Viola Mehling, Fremont; Bernice (Art) Haubert, Fremont; Helen Arnold, Fremont; Irene (Donald) Ott, Green Springs also survive. Grandchildren surviving are Jeremy;Cory; Kristin; Emily; Doug; Brian;Scott; Todd; Brad; Sarah; Shelly; Rachel;Gregory; Denise; Brittani.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Dumminger; and a brother Clayton Fisher.
He graduated from St. Joseph High School, Fremont in 1938 and was a self employed farmer. Leo was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clyde; the Knights of Columbus; the Townsend Ruritan; and the Bellevue Eagles.

Willelah "Willie" Anderson

Mrs. Anderson was born in Marion, Ohio to the now deceased Clyde and Hazel (Ross) Hardin. She moved to Clyde in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Kenyon Anderson, whom she married
on Dec. 8, 1934 and he died on June 7, 1988.
Survivors include her two sons; Keith (Mary Ann) Anderson of Wauseon and James (Sandy) Anderson of Clyde; seven grandchildren: Bob; Bill; Jim; Tim; Leslie; Megan and Kevin. Twelve great grandchildren and a sister, Joyce (Sam) Shockley of Westerville, Ohio and a brother, Richard (Barbara) Hardin of North Fort Myers, Florida also survive.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde; the former Clyde Eastern Star; the Clyde Garden Club and several card clubs.
