Norma M. Miller

Mrs. Miller was born in Fremont to the now deceased Raymond Francis, Sr. and Estelle (Burkett) Cloud. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1938 and was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde, the Clyde Eagles Auxiliary, the Vacationland Travelers, and organ club.
Norma had been the Treasurer for the Clyde School System from 1967-1976; the payroll Auditor at the Sandusky Co. Courthouse, retiring in 1976; and a Century 21 receptionist retiring in 1978.
Survivors include two daughters: Rhonda Louise (Gregory) Miller of Clyde; Susan Kay (John) Baker of Clyde; and three sons: Robert Allen (Donna) Miller of Clyde; Gerald Clyde (Kathleen) Miller of Columbia City, Indiana; Jeffrey Ray Miller of Belle Foch, South Dakota. Nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren survive along with a sister, Lucille (Richard) Overmyer of Fremont and a brother, Larry (Judy) Cloud of Willard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. Miller, whom she married
on June 17, 1939 and he died on April 17, 2000; two sisters: Beverly Smithson; Mary Elizabeth Cloud; and two brothers: Raymond Cloud, Jr. and Clyde Cloud and also an infant son.

Bob was the son of the late Leo and Alice (Aldrich) Dinan.
He is survived by one sister, Jean (Jerry)Kastor, Clyde and three brothers, William Dinan, Green Springs; Rollyn (Peggy) Dinan, Clyde and Larry (Sue) Dinan of Clyde. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald; Irvin "Ike"; and Tim Dinan and sisters: Lillian Yocum; Mary Meyer and Doris Dinan.
Bob served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a 1963 graduate of Clyde High School.
Bob was an active member of the SCRAP. He was a farmer first and foremost, but he also retired from Armstrong in Bellevue after 43 years of employment.
Verna E. Meyer

Mrs. Meyer was born in Fremont, the Kings Way area, to the late Herman and Elizabeth (Gleckler) Gross.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde, where she was a long-time choir member.
Survivors include three sons, Charles (Sharon) Meyer, Clyde; Kurt Meyer, Kentucky; Keith Meyer, Texas; two daughters, Bonita Garcia, Fremont and Beth Meyer, Clyde; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Meyer is preceded by her husband, Wilbur Meyer whom she married
July 26, 1941 and he died on December 5, 1986. Her siblings all preceded her: Stella King; Eva Leitz; Hazel Gross; John Gross; Lester Gross; Elmer Gross; and Rollin Gross.
Memorials To: St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
Joyce M. Hitchcock--Meisner
March 22, 1943 - August 10, 2007

Joyce was born in Fostoria to the now deceased Paul and Gladys (Gross) Hitchcock.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Meisner, Brownstown, Michigan; and two sons, George (Patricia) Meisner, Green Springs and John (Deb) Meisner, Tiffin. Four grandchildren and the father of her children, Paul J. Meisner of Green Springs also survive.
Joyce is preceded in death by her brothers: Ray Hitchcock; her twin brother, Joe Hitchcock who died in infancy, and Jimmy Stevens.
Graveside services will be held at Fountain cemetery, Fostoria, the date and time to be announced at a later date.
Thomas Taylor, Jr.

Mr. Taylor was born in Pick County, Kentucky to the now deceased Thomas Nathaniel and Della (Fields) Taylor.
Thomas was a faithful and vital member of the Adams Township Free Will Baptist Church, serving as a Trustee, the Sunday School superintendent, and Sunday School teacher. He was a machine operator at International Metal Hose for 39 ˝ yrs, prior to his retirement in February 2007.
His survivors include his wife, Barbara (Smith) Taylor, whom he married
on Feb. 14, 1973. Four sons: Thomas (Jeana) A. Taylor, Republic; Gary (Andrea) Taylor, Bellevue; Anthony Scott Taylor, San Francisco, Ca; Greg Taylor, Norwalk; and four daughters: Debra (Michael) L. Hoffman, Marion, Ohio; Se (Jim) Cuzma, Attica; Connie L. (Don) Williams- Reiderman, Bellevue; and Cheryl A. William, Ashtabula, Ohio. Twenty-three grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren along with two sisters, Pearl Williamson and Ruth (Layton) Maynard, both of Kentucky also survive.
Preceding him in death is a daughter, Esta Carol Taylor-Grimm in 2003; and an infant son, Benny Ray Taylor in 1952. Four sisters, and two brothers are also deceased.

Urban J. Schneider, Jr, 70, of Clyde, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 24, 1939 in Franks Corners (rural Bellevue) to the late Urban J. Sr and Hilda (Didion) Schneider.
Urban attended Franks School and then graduated from Thompson High School in 1957. He proudly served his country is the US Army Reserve. He was employed at International Metal Hose for 40 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clyde.
On September 27, 1959 he married
Sharon (Schmitz) and she survives. Also surviving are their two daughters: Brenda (Gary) Shoup and Dee Ann (Darren) Blackburn, both of Clyde; three grandchildren: Justin (Emily) Blackburn, Christopher (Brooke) Shoup, and Aaron Shoup; two great-grandchildren: Raegan Blackburn and Hayden Shoup; and his siblings: Walter Schneider of Bellevue, Maryann (Frank) Klein of Elyria, Paul (Rosemary) Schneider of Clyde, and Carl (Sandy) Schneider of Sandusky.
In addition to his parents, Urban was preceded in death by his brother, Father Ralph Schneider and his brother-in-law, Rodger Schmitz.
Joseph S. Sweet

Mr. Sweet was born in Bellevue to the now deceased John S. and Mildred (Sherman) Sweet. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1936 and was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ and the Bellevue Elks for over 50 years, having previously served as the Exulted Ruler. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bellevue.
Mr. Sweet retired in 1980 from the General Electric in Bellevue following 38 1/2 years of working there.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married
on April 20, 1940, Evelyn M. (Sillman) Sweet; a son, Robert M. (Joan) Sweet of Bellevue and a daughter, Joelyn (David) Moore, of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Cominsky and Gretchen (Bill) Cronin, both of Fremont also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John “Jack” Sweet.

Hazel E. Franks, 84, formerly of Woodland Ave., Clyde died on Thursday, November 08, 2007 at the Elmwood Nursing Home, Green Springs, Ohio.
Mrs. Franks was born in Vickery on Dec. 21, 1921 to the late Donald and Jessie (Fredrick) Keegan. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Clyde and enjoyed playing bingo and golfing. She was a graduate of the Townsend High School.
Survivors include her three daughters: Karen Beier; Connie (Paul) Patrick; and Joni (Michael) Montgomery, all of Clyde; seven grandchildren: Paula Potts; Tonya Beier; Ryan Patrick; Kendra Beier; Kanen Montgomery; Krofton Montgomery; and Morgan Montgomery and three great grandchildren, Brady Patrick, Nolan Patrick and Derek Beier. One sister, Viola Scherz, Norwalk and Leeland Keegan, Vickery also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franks, whom she married
on Nov. 11, 1943, and he died on June 6, 2001; sisters, Edna Cloud; and Thelma Shade; and brothers, Harold Keegan; Russell Keegan and Laurel Keegan and a son-in-law, Ken Beier.
