Marie was born in Tiffin and graduated from Clyde High School in 2000. She was active in the concert, marching, jazz, and pep bands; choir and swing choir at CHS. She attending Bowling Green State University and was working as a nanny.
Marie is survived by her mother, Delayne (Stout) Geesey and step father, Ricky Geesey of Fremont; her father, Michael W. Taylor (Jody) of Oneta, Kentucky; two brothers, Bryan Scott Taylor (fiancé, Vernadette McConnell) of Bellevue and Robert Michael Taylor of Fremont. One niece and two nephews survive, as does her grandfather, Benjamin Taylor of Clyde and several aunts and uncles.

William Dinan

Bill was married
to Ethel (Reinhart) Dinan on April 14, 1950 and she preceded him in death on June 20, 2004.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda of Tiffin and his son, Patrick of Clyde. His grandchildren: Dennis of Tiffin, and Bridget and Brittany of Clyde, his great grandchild, Jayce of Tiffin also survive. His sister, Jean (Jerry) Kastor survives as do two brothers, Rollyn (Peggy) Dinan and Larry (Sue) Dinan, both of Clyde.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Alice (Aldrich) Dinan; his sisters: Lillian Yocum, Mary Meyer, Doris Dinan; and brothers: Donald Dinan, Irvin "Ike" Dinan, Tim Dinan, and Robert Dinan.
Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He attended Clyde High School.
His memberships included the Operating Engineers Union; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; Masons; and the Beekeepers Association. He liked farming, gardening, repair work, and his latest interest was in bees and honey production.
He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Miller Pipeline and retired in 1990.

Mark A. "Slim" Wendler

Mr. Wendler was born in Fremont to Willard A. and Margaret (Reidling) Wendler. His mother survives in Tiffin.
Slim graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1972 and was self employed in the trucking industry.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia (Nycum) Wendler, whom he married
on Oct. 22, 2003; a daughter, Marchelle (Tim) Barnd, Findlay and a son, William J. "Willie" Wendler of Clyde. Four grandchildren, his mother and three sisters, Judith (Jeff) Trzeciak of Denver; Cynthia (Tom) Kin of Tiffin; and Rebecca (Stephen) DeRoads of Milford Center, Ohio also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Ann Noss

Ann was born in Toledo to James R. and Mary (Fox) Walters, now both deceased. She was raised by her stepmother, Lillian A. (Chovanec) Walters, who survives in Fremont.
Her survivors include her husband, Dennis Noss, whom she married
on Aug. 20, 1966; a daughter, Denise Noss-Amor (Troy) of Fremont; a son, Kip Noss (fiancée Karen Griesemer) of Columbus; a granddaughter, Alyssa Amor; a brother, Robert (Carolyn) Walters, Detroit in addition to her stepmother.
She graduated from North Baltimore High School in 1963 and then the Fremont Beauty Academy. She was a licensed beautician for 35 years, having worked at various shops in the Clyde/Fremont area prior to owning her own shop, Ann’s Classic Cuts for 10 years, retiring in 2000.
She was a member of the Clyde Christian Church, a former Camp Fire Leader and presiding judge for the Green Creek Board of Elections.
A memorial brunch, time to share memories, will be held immediately following the service.

Vera Whittaker Carte

She was the daughter of Hadie Grob Whittaker and John Whittaker, who are deceased. Her family owned the Whittaker bar and restaurant. She married
Devere Mead and had one child, Barbara Mead Crispen, who survives in Fremont. Devere and Vera later divorced. She later married
Charles S. Little who passed away after 25 years of marriage. She married
Charlie Carte who also preceded her.
She had four grandchildren, John, Marcia and Susan Crispen and Cheryl Link who preceded her. She had eight great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed her big family and was so proud of them.
Vera graduated from Fremont Ross High in 1932 and attended Miami University and Tiffin Business College. She acquired a realtor associate degree and worked for Lucy Johnson Realty with her daughter for a few years.
She retired and moved to Florida for 18 years. She sang with Bonita Springs Chorus and loved playing cards. She became an avid bridge and bingo player and was a dancer and pianist in her youth. Many clubs and auxiliary memberships where enjoyed by her especially the Order of the Easter Star, where she was Past Matron in 1974.
She resided at St. Francis for some time and enjoyed her friends there playing cards and games and attending services for the Lord.
May she rest in peace. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and family and friends.

Daniel D. Weiker

Mr. Weiker was born in Wood County, to the late Jess and Amy (Porter) Weiker.
His survivors include his wife, Gladys (Hoy) Weiker whom he married
on Jan. 4, 1947; a daughter, Jane (Calvin) Staib of New Riegel; and two sons: James D. Weiker, Republic and Thomas L. (Boo) Weiker, Bellevue; 5 grandchildren and five great-granchildren.
A brother, Scott Weiker, West Millgrove, Ohio; and two sisters, Myrtle Williams, N. Baltimore and Cora Whitney, Weston, Ohio also survive.
Daniel was preceded by his siblings: George Weiker; Ida Apple; Betty Moening; Ruth Pressler and Fern Brown.
He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ at Fireside and also the Clyde VFW and MOOSE. He had been a set-up man at Whirlpool Corp until his retirement in 1982. Daniel was a WWII army veteran.
Merril Walden "Skinny" Wiedle

Merril Walden Wiedle, lifelong York Station resident and farmer, has claimed his eternal reward after a long and fulfilling life in the Townsend community. Merril, known to many of his friends as Skinny, was born at York Station to Emi Henry and Lida Walden Wiedle. His wife of 47 years, Ada Scheub Wiedle, as well as his sister, Margaret Wiedle Burkin, have preceded him.
Merril is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Betty Wagner Wiedle, and his children Mary and James Hamilton of Murrysville, Pennsylvania; Henry and Margaret Wiedle of Anchorage, Alaska; Kathleen and John Nuss of Apache Junction, Arizona and Christopher and Roberta Wiedle of York Station. His heritage also includes nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren living across this great nation from the Atlantic to the Pacific. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who enjoyed his company.
Merril was a third generation farmer who began farming with horses as a child. After graduation from Townsend School in 1931, he continued farming with his parents and grandfather, Christian Wiedle. Merril also operated M.I. Wiedle and Son Coal Company out of York Station, serving residents of the community for nearly 20 years. Merril served for over 30 years as the treasurer of Vickery Methodist Church where he was a faithful lifelong member. He joined with friends monthly for overt 60 years as a member of Loyal Pals Farm Bureau Council. He was active in the Townsend and Pomona Grange until their demise, and then with the Townsend Ruritan Club. Merril also served on the led the Townsend School Board of Education for 15 years.
Merril leaves a rich legacy for his years of work in and for the community, for work was his hobby. He actively farmed until the age of 90, and his farm bears testimony to his many years of stewardship, carpentry, conservation, and diligent care. Even when in Florida, he did tasks for others unable to do for themselves.
Memorials To: Stein Hospice, or to any church or charitable organization that Merril or the donor is involved.
Elsie B. "Tootsie" Mathis

Mrs. Mathis was born in Kentucky to the late James and Argest (True) Cox.
She is survived by her seven loving children: Juanita Leers, Clyde; James “Joe” Mathis, Clyde; Sue (Clayton) Lindsey, Huron; Fred (Patricia) Mathis, Fremont; Ben (Brenda) Mathis, Clyde; Judy (Donald J.) Daugherty, Fremont; Deborah (Bob) Milleson, Clyde. Twenty-six grandchildren and 76 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren also survive. A sister, Kathleen Butcher and a brother, Elmer Cox both survive in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Mathis, whom she married
August 10, 1940 and Ike died on May 10, 1981.
Three grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two brothers: John Cox and James Cox, Jr. are also deceased.
Mrs. Mathis was a homemaker and a member of the Clyde Eagles.
