James B. March

Mr. March was born in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania to the now deceased Blaine and Marion March. He moved the area in 1986.
He had worked in the steel mills in Youngstown prior to his military career, ending with the National Guard in 2005.
Survivors include one son, Nicholas Kulikowsky of Statesville, North Carolina; and four daughters: MaryAnn Caldwell of Monroeville; Cynthia Cook of Vermont; Natalie Bolick (James) of Williston, South Carolina and Victoria Jarvis of New Castle, Pennsylvania. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Colgan) March, whom he married
on July 17, 1975 and she died on Aug. 25, 2002. A grandchild and a great grandchild also preceded him in death.

LaDonna was born to the late Clayton and Gladys (Nearhood) May.
She married
Robert "Rocky" Foultner on Oct. 26, 1957, and he survives. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles May.
LaDonna was a member of the 1949 graduating class of Townsend High School.
She was very active in her church serving as a deaconess and a Sunday School teacher. She was responsible for the dinners at the church following a funeral.

August Schrader

Mr. Schrader was born in Clyde to the late Leo and Emma (Gelphe) Schrader. He had been a farmer and worked in various factories in Clyde.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Zitzer) Schrader, whom he married
Sept 2, 1946 and she died on June 11, 2002. His brothers: Max Schrader, William Schrader, Frank Schrader, Henry Schrader and sisters: Anna Dick, Elsie Beatty, and Minnie Mall also preceded him in death.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
Geraldine I. Swartz

Geraldine (Geri) Swartz was born in Bellevue, and was the daughter of Robert and Emma Grace (Bailey) Farnsworth.
She married
Kenwood Swartz on January 9th, 1932 and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1981.
She graduated from the former York High School in 1930 and had spent her life in the Bellevue area.
Along with her late husband, she owned and operated the Swartz Grocery until 1951, and The Swartz Trailer Park until 1975. She was a teller at the First National Bank in Bellevue, retiring from the bank in 1978. She was a volunteer at The Bellevue Hospital, and belonged to several other organizations.
She is survived by one son, Ralph (Joan) Swartz of Bellevue, two grandsons: Michael S. Swartz and Mark E. Swartz. Four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; five step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; and ten step great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by five sisters, Pearl Beard, Lola Guthrie, Eleanor Swartz, Roberta Mitchell, infant Mardel Farnsworth, and grand daughter-in-law Barbara A. Swartz.

Mrs. Frank was born in Flat Rock Ohio to the late Harry and Alma (Zerman) Bailey. She attended Thompson High School and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Green Springs.
She is survived by her husband, Henry R. Frank, whom she married
on April 11, 1936.
Preceding her in death are five siblings: Gertrude Berie; Ruth Kirby; Lois Becker; Harold Bailey and William Bailey.

Wendell R. Selvey

Mr. Selvey was born in Sandusky County to the late Keith and Marian (Young) Selvey. On October 15, 1960 he married
Shirley Ann Strausbaugh and she survives.
Other survivors include four sons: Dale (Darlene) Selvey, Clyde; David (Tammy) Selvey, Green Springs; Mark (Jeanenne) Selvey of Green Springs and Donald Selvey, Hilliard, Ohio. One sister, Mrs. Betty Jean (John) Marcha of Altus, Oklahoma and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Dean; two brothers, Dale Selvey and Laurel Selvey and his father-in-law, Don Strausbaugh.
Mr. Selvey was a born a farmer at heart, but also worked at elevators in the area until his retirement in 2002. He also had worked at the H.J. Heinz Co., in Fremont form 1960-68 when he went to full-time farming. Wendell enjoyed life and people and was always on the go. He was a member of S.C.R.A.P. and he had restored many tractors. He was also an avid woodworker and made many things for his family and friends over the years. He was a 1960 graduate of Green Springs High School and enjoyed going to and helping with the Alumni event held each year for the school. Wendell was also active in the Village having served on council, had served as the Village Zoning Inspector and was licensed to spray the village for insects.

Anna Rose Harding Nason

She married
George Nason in May 1969 and he died on March 16, 2007.
Together Anna Rose and George had a son, Scott Nason and he survives in Vickery; she had two daughters: Vicki (Bob) Judd and Rhonda (Michael) Hammons, both of Bellefontaine; three sons: Larry (Kenzie) Fisher, Carey; Marcus Fisher, Vickery; and Rex Fisher, Fremont. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with a sister, Marie Collins of Port Clinton and a brother, Mike Labine of Bluff City, Tennessee also survive.
George’s children; Rose Dirnberg, Clyde; Kent Nason, Vickery; and Paul Nason, Oregon and four step-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews are among her survivors.

Kathy was born in Bellevue on March 27, 1954 to Lester and Julia (Meek) Whiley.
Survivors include her mother, two daughters, Abigail F. Kays and Suzanne M. Kays, both at home. Four sisters; Susan Whiley, Peggy Whiley, and Jane (Scott) Ehrnsberger, all of Clyde, and Julia (Gary) Wheatley, Fremont and one brother; Roger Whiley of Clyde.
She graduated from Clyde High School in 1972 and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clyde where she was an Elder and active member of the adult choir. She was also Chairperson of Christian Education, Chairperson of the Personnel Committee, a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Clyde VFW and the Band Parents of Clyde High School. She was a machine operator at the Revere Co. in Clyde.

Mrs. Hansen was born in Springfield, Illinois to the late Charles Emerson and Edith Elaine (Grubb) Posegate. She moved to this area in 1951 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellevue.
She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1951 and worked for Seneca Railroad Mining.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil D. Hansen whom she married
October 10, 1955; her daughter, Richelle Lynn "Rickie" Eaton of Norwalk; her son, Blaine (Athena) Hansen of Bellevue; three granddaughters: Tawny, Melody, and Brandie; step-grandson, Jason Natole; and her brother, William Posegate of Kurtwood, Missouri.
