She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver Smith; second husband, Fred Hole; and a daughter, Carol King. He was a Paulding County Commissioner from 1976 to 1981, and a former president of the Paulding County Fair Board. MILDRED "MILLIE" E. HANDY, 76, died Wednesday at Community Hospitals of Williams County, Bryan. Born in Henry County, she retired as a cook for Montpelier schools at the elementary school building. She also had been a custodian at St. John's Lutheran Church and a cook at the YWCA and Kmart store in Bryan. She was a former precinct worker for the Williams County Election Board and former secretary of the Montpelier Eagles Auxiliary. Her husband, Robert W., died in 1995.
