Lesha A. Myers-Sabo

Elyria, Ohio - Lesha A. Myers-Sabo, 29, of Elyria, Ohio and formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in Elyria Memorial Hospital. She was born May 9, 1981 in Norwalk, Ohio and moved to Elyria in 2009.
Lesha graduated from Norwalk High School and E.H.O.V.E. Joint Vocational School in 1999 where she was a member of the marching band. She was a former employee of Janesville Products of Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifeguard at Kalahari Resort, Sandusky, Ohio. Lesha enjoyed loving and caring for her family and friends, she loved her cat, T.C., hanging with her friends and her time on Facebook. She also enjoyed sports and camping.
Lesha is survived by her husband, Joseph T. Sabo of Elyria, Ohio whom she married July 23, 2010, and by her step daughter, Haley Lopez of Elyria, Ohio. She is also survived by her parents, Jeffrey L. Myers of Norwalk, Ohio and Janice D. Myers of Elyria, Ohio, by her brother, Christopher Wright and Nichole Casselberry of Cleveland, Tennessee, and by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Walker of Lenoir, North Carolina, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Lesha was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and JoAnn Myers and by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Lois Wright.
Memorial services will be private. Rev. James Schmidt will officiate.

Terri L. Stevens

Norwalk, Ohio - Terri L. Stevens, 48, of Greenwich, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in her daughters home in Norwalk, Ohio. She was born December 27, 1962 in Norwalk, Ohio and graduated from Norwalk High School in 1981 where she was a member of the National Honor Society.
Terri moved to Greenwich, Ohio in 1992. She was employed at Wal-mart in Norwalk, Ohio and was a former employee of Vargo's Drive In, National City Bank, Sutton Bank in New London, Ohio and Attica, Ohio and East of Chicago Pizza in Fremont, Ohio. Terri enjoyed counted cross stitch, reading, Precious Moments and rock collecting, being outside, and especially enjoyed taking care of her beloved grandson, Corbin J. Barber.
She is also survived by her husband of 17 years, Michael D. Stevens of Greenwich, Ohio, by her daughter, Kadi M. Hardy and Steven M. Barber of Norwalk, Ohio, by her parents, Dick and Mary (Carley) Vogt of Norwalk, Ohio, by her sisters and brothers in law, Cheryl A. and Daniel Dotson of Norwalk, Ohio, Tonia L. and John Warner of Norwalk, Ohio and Sara R. and Kevin Ebel of Plover, Wisconsin, Chris, Robert and Mark Stevens and families of Greenwich, Ohio and by her mother in law, Judy Stevens of Greenwich, Ohio.
Terri was preceded in death by her sister, Laura J. Vogt in 2009 and by her father in law, David C. Stevens in 1992.
Friends may call on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Memorial services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made for her grandson Corbin's educational fund at Key Bank 51 E. Main St. Attn: Corbin J. Barber Educational fund. Norwalk, Oh 44857.

Dorothy B. Bauer

Norwalk, Ohio - Dorothy B. Bauer, 90, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, April 22, 2011 in Gaymont Nursing Center. She was born March 22, 1921 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and lived in Lorain, Ohio, Boone, Iowa, and moved to Norwalk, Ohio in 2008 from Lorain.
Dorothy attended the Chapel in Sandusky, Ohio and the Alternative Day Care Center in Sandusky. She retired from Higbee's Department Store in the Elyria Mall, after 35 years, from the stores opening. She had also been an employee of the Canadian Income Tax Department in Toronto. Dorothy enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, and traveling to the Outer Banks, North Carolina. She is survived by her daughter, Diane E. Russ of Norwalk, Ohio, by her son, John C. Bauer and Renee Darmafall of Lorain, Ohio, by her grandson and his wife, Jason M. and Maureen Russ, and by her great granddaughters, Addison Scarlet and Carmen Emily Russ, all of Columbus, Ohio.
Dorothy is also survived by her special family, Norman and Sheri Johnston of Oshawa, Canada and by her special friend and caregiver, Pat Kurtz of Norwalk, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. "Jack" Bauer in 2008.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Pastor Bill Schroeder of the Chapel, Sandusky, Ohio, will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.

Elizabeth A. "Maid" Hosang

Norwalk, Ohio - Elizabeth A. "Maid" Hosang, 100, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1911 in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio to the late Alphonse J. and Anne F. (Miller) Hosang and came to this area in 1973 from Reed Township.
Elizabeth was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk, Ohio and the Women of St. Paul. She was a lifelong caregiver to many people. Elizabeth enjoyed her Faith in God, Praying for her family and friends, writing in her diaries, and caring for her pets and animals.
She is survived by her sister, Bernie Geiger of Norwalk, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Fiancée, Clayton Schank, when they were engaged in their early twenties, by her brothers, Frederick Hosang, Eugene Hosang, and Arthur Hosang, and by her sisters, Pauline Rospert and Lucille Willoughby.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Frank Kehres will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or for Mass Intentions. Interment will be in St. Mary cemetery, Bellevue, Ohio.

Douglas G. Brandt

Sandusky, Ohio - Douglas G. Brant, Sr., 80, of Sandusky, Ohio, died early Friday morning, May 13, 2011 in the Stein Hospice Care Center. He was born September 20, 1930 in Vermilion, Ohio to the late Walter D. and Laura (Smith) Brant and was a lifelong Erie and Huron County resident.
Doug worked for the Matthews Coal Company, Sandusky, Ohio, Huron Aluminum, Huron, Ohio, Clevite of Milan, Ohio, Union Chain of Sandusky, Ohio, and CertainTeed, Milan, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing and boating.
He is survived by his children Douglas G. and Lynette Brant, Jr., of Steuben, Ohio, Larry A. and Denise Brant of Norwalk, Ohio, Linda and Robert Sanders of Portsmouth, Ohio, Daniel T. and Rachel Brant of Portsmouth, Ohio, James D. and Sharon Brant of Norwalk, Ohio, Alvin E. and Katherine Brant of Willard, Ohio, Robert D. and Catherine M. Brant of Johnson City, Tennessee, Kenneth Eckelberry of Portsmouth, Ohio, Ruby and Randy McCauley, April Brant, Steven Brant and Julie, Walter Brant, Laura and Terry Martin, Shannon York, Johnathan York, all of Sandusky, Ohio, and Frank Skaggs of Beaver, Ohio, by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Doug is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Brant Milner Camp of Sandusky, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Brant, by second wife, Betty J. Fulton Brant, and by his third wife, Susan Skaggs Brant, by his son Phillip York in 2007, by his brothers, Walter, Vernon, Gerald and Lenard Brant, and by his sisters, Margaret Schenk, Marjorie Schenk, Alberta Tigges and Laura Brant.
Friends may call on Monday May 16, 2011 from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00p.m. at Mt. Harvest Church of God, 105 State Rt. 113 W., Milan, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Ken Conley will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery, Berlin Heights, Ohio.

Dr. James Revelas

Norwalk, Ohio - Dr. James Revelas, 51, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, October 7, 2011. He was born September 4, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Konstantine and Melba (Lampros) Revelas and came to this area in 1990 from Sheffield Lake, Ohio.
Dr. Revelas was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and attended the Sanctuary in Norwalk, Ohio. He was a 1978 graduate of Chaney High School, and graduated from Youngstown State University and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Revelas practiced in Norwalk, Sandusky and Bellevue, Ohio. He was a virtuoso violinist and was a former member of the Youngstown Symphony, the Bellevue Symphony and the Heidelberg Orchestra. Dr. Revelas also enjoyed playing Greek music in multiple groups and bands throughout the country. He also enjoyed golf. Dr. Revelas was a man of deep faith and was extraordinarily generous to many families.
Dr. Revelas is survived by his wife of 26 years, Angel (Panopoulos) and by his daughter, Celeste A. Revelas of Columbus, Ohio and by his son, Jordan D. Revelas of Norwalk, Ohio.
Calling hours and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in the Norwalk First United Methodist Church, 60 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. and not at Walker Funeral Home as previously announced. Fr. Constantine Valantasis will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Pansy M. Bolen (nee Lykins)

Pansy M. Bolen (nee Lykins) of Norwalk, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2011. She was born May 3, 1934 in West Liberty, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Firelands Bible Training Center and studied through Oral Roberts University and Moody Bible Institute. She volunteered at many churches and sponsored several orphanages. Pansy was a homemaker much of her life but also worked on her parents farm and in elder care. She was a member of the Assembly of God, sang in several choirs, taught Sunday School, and was a lifelong bible scholar. She took pleasure in travel, crochet, playing guitar and listening to gospel music but her favorite pastime was visiting with her grandchildren. Pansy rose each morning to read her bible by a lake, river or in a forest surrounded by the beauty God created. She walked several miles each day at Sandusky Mall and in her neighborhood often stopping to hug people and tell them that she loved them.
Pansy leaves behind a legacy of her unwavering faith and her beloved family: Sons Marvin(Barbara) of Norwalk, and Donald (Sharon) of Newark, and daughter Susan Fischer(Wayne) of Vermilion. Grandchildren, Andrea Fischer Prieto and Candis Fischer Volak (David) of Vermilion, Ohio, Brandy Fischer Konery (Brian) of Amherst, Joy Bolen Coleman (John) of Newark, and Michael Bolen of Delaware. Great-grandchildren, Jordan Prieto, Kylie Volak, Taylor and Taryn Bolen and Jessica, Michael and Joseph Coleman. Brothers Donald Lykins, of Willard, and Leonard Ray Lykins of Huron. Sisters Ann (John)Alsept of Findlay, Ruby (Russell) Stephens of Willard, and Joyce (Don) Eagle of Wooster.
Loved ones leaving this earth before her were her parents, Warren M. Lykins, and Martha L. (Sebastian) Lykins and her husband of 36 years, Boyd. Brothers, Warren Jr. and Lawrence Lykins, and sister Iva Rickman.
A celebration of Pansy's life will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St. Norwalk. Visitation hours are 5-8p.m. Wednesday September 28, 2011, with services on Thursday September 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Rick Kennison officiating. Her body will rest at New Haven cemetery but her life will continue in Heaven where angels rejoiced upon her arrival. Wake location will be announced during celebratory services. Her family requests donations be made to local food pantries in lieu of flowers.

Lilian A. Romell

Norwalk, Ohio - Lilian A. Romell, infant daughter of Brian and Victoria Romell of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, September 16, 2011 in University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.
She is survived by her sisters, Jasmine, Johana, and Gabriella Romell of Norwalk, Ohio, by her maternal grandparents, Leticia and Calvin Wright of Sandusky, Ohio, and Robert Olvera of Donna, Texas, and by her paternal grandparents, Geri and David Hunt of Norwalk, Ohio and Michael and Theresa Romell of Norwalk, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brother, Isaiah H. Romell in 2010.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Woodlawn cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Ernest Robles, Pastor of Reigning World Fellow Church officiating.
