DOTTIE ANN NEACE
Dottie Ann Neace, 54, of Wilmington, Ohio died 10:30 AM, Friday, August 14, 2009 at her residence. Her husband, Bill C. Neace, whom she married
December 2, 1995, survives. Mrs. Neace was born December 24, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
Mrs. Neace had been employed by the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency as secretary of the deputy director. She had also been the payroll administrator and assistant director of the Homeless Shelter. She sold Mary Kay cosmetics as well. She served on the Relay for Life committee and the Cardboard City committee. Additionally, she was a Homeless Shelter board member, a member of the Emmaus Community, and attended First Baptist Church of Wilmington.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Neace is survived by three sons, Larry Cheek, Jason (Katrina) Cheek, and Tommy Cheek; her mother-in-law, Bessie Neace; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Pitzer; a nephew, Adam Pitzer; three grandchildren; cherished friends, Denise Grant and the Stryker family; and countless other friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

BARBARA JANE STEWART
Barbara Jane Stewart, 65, of Wilmington, Ohio died 2:05 PM, Monday, August 17, 2009 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence. Ms. Stewart was born February 8, 1944 in Greene County, Ohio, daughter of the late Oliver B. and Georgia E. Hardy Stewart. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church.
Ms. Stewart is survived by three brothers, Taylor (Barbara) Stewart of Huntington, West Virginia, Russell (Vicky) Stewart of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Chester (Wilma) Stewart of Mt. Orab, Ohio; a sister, Margaret Eppel of Pontiac, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, four brothers, Roy Stewart, Paul Stewart, Ted Stewart, and George Stewart; and two sisters, Verna Brown and Phoebe Stewart, are preceded in death.

BARBARA A. WITHEM
Barbara A. Withem, 75, of Blanchester, Ohio (formerly of Fairborn, Ohio) died 5:30 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Continental Manor, Blanchester, Ohio. Her husband, Pearl Withem Jr., preceded her in death in 2007. They were married
August 26, 1950. Mrs. Withem was born April 15, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Allen Mitchell and Helen Coffman Ryman. She was affiliated with Faith Baptist Church in Wilmington, Ohio and had been a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the I.O.O.F/Rebekah Lodge in Fairborn.
Mrs. Withem is survived by a son, Russell (Deborah) Withem of Fairborn, Ohio; two daughters, Darlene (Saint Clair) Markel of New Vienna, Ohio and Denise (Alan) Trainer of Albany, Ohio; a sister, Nancy Shanks of Xenia, Ohio; five grandchildren, Christopher (Jennie) Markel of Cincinnati, Ohio, Amy (Deno) Perone of Fairborn, Ohio, Steve Withem of Fairborn, Ohio, Joseph (Amanda) Dixon of Leesburg, Ohio, and Corey Dixon of Albany, Ohio; six great grandchildren, Cara Markel, Gavin Perone, Emma Perone, Ayden Perone, Madison Garrett, and Gavin Garrett; a close friend, Mike Dunn; and the caring staff and friends at Continental Manor. In addition to her husband and parents, a brother, Bill Mitchell, is preceded in death.

ELOISE MAE MILLER
Eloise Mae Miller, 87, of Wilmington, Ohio (formerly of Bradenton, Florida) died 10:00 AM, Sunday, August 23, 2009 at her residence. Her husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Miller, preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller was born May 28, 1922 in Coshocton, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell Charles Miller and Vera Francis Givens Miller. She was a member of Roser Memorial Community Church in Bradenton, Florida. She loved her family and enjoyed playing cards and golf.
Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons, David (Nancy) Miller of Clarksville, Ohio, Jan (Judith) Miller of The Villages, Florida, and John (Norma) Miller of Bruce Crossing, Michigan; a brother, Robert (Wilma) Miller of Medina, Ohio; a sister, Bonnie Jean (Harold) Carnahan of The Villages, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Cape May Retirement Village, 175 Cape May Drive, Wilmington, Ohio.
NAOMI RUTH THOMAS
Naomi Ruth Thomas, 86, of Wilmington, Ohio died 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 23, 2009 at her residence. Her husband, Vernon C. Thomas, preceded her in death in 1998. They were married
in 1972. Mrs. Thomas was born March 18, 1923 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Van Eskum McKenzie and Jennie Thomas McKenzie. She was a member of the Wilmington Assembly of God.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by a son, David (Shawnee) Thomas of Wilmington, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Dillon Thomas and Desiree Thomas. In addition to her husband and parents, a brother, Warren McKenzie, is preceded in death.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Wilmington Assembly of God, 609 W. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Richard Bracht officiating.
EDWARD G. ROSENBERG
Lt. Col. Edward Gustav Rosenberg, 84, of Wilmington, Ohio died 9:17 AM, Friday, August 14, 2009 at Cape May Retirement Community. His wife, Bernice Helen Chiletz Rosenberg, whom he married
December 8, 1945, survives. He was born June 13, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Gustav Rosenberg and Louise Schnielzer Rosenberg- Hauck. He was a 1943 graduate of James Ford Rhodes High School in Cleveland.
Lt. Col. Rosenberg was a career military man who was highly decorated for his service both in combat and in peacetime. He received numerous medals and commendations, including the Air Medal for heroic actions and meritorious service during a flight. He retired from the United States Air Force as commander of the 160 Resource Management Squadron - 160th Air Refueling Group. He actually began his career flying missions for the British in W.W. II before the United States entered the war. After the U.S. became involved in W.W. II, Lt. Col. Rosenberg flew in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He flew 37 bombing missions over Europe, was shot down twice, and parachuted behind enemy lines. As a result he became a member of the Caterpillar Club, which is for pilots who have parachuted safely after their plane was shot down. In addition to W.W. II, Lt. Col. Rosenberg saw action in the Korean War, and was even called back to active duty briefly for Desert Storm. After retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Wilmington Water Department. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Wilmington and a lifetime member of the B.P.O. Elks 797. He also served on the board of directors for the Elks. He was a frequent blood donor and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Karl Edward (Susan Swies) Rosenberg of Barrington, Illinois; a daughter, Deborah Ann Carter-Gordley of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Mary Lou (Julius) Zeck of Sandusky, Ohio; a grandson, John Woodrow Rosenberg of Barrington, Illinois; and a niece, Gail Barschow of Gahanna, Ohio. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Frederick Rosenberg and John Hauck are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, August 17, 2009 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. June Fryman officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery, with military honors provided by the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard. RONALD B. REEVES
Ronald B. Reeves, 78, of Blanchester, Ohio died 6:58 AM, Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his residence. His wife, Mary Sewell Reeves, whom he married
October 29, 1998, survives. Mr. Reeves was born May 19, 1931, in Hillsboro, Ohio, son of the late Burdette and Thelma Montgomery Reeves. He devoted 37 years of service to the United States Armed Forces until his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Korean War, and the U.S. Air Force, serving at the Clinton County Air Force Base, Rickenbacker Air Force Base, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Reeves is survived by four sons, Roland Reeves, Robert Reeves, Roger Reeves, and Roy Reeves; a daughter, Linda Reeves; several grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald B. Reeves Jr., and a sister.

DOROTHY CLEMENS
Dorothy Clemens died Friday, September 11, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio, where she spent her last days. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Jameson Sr., and her second husband, Oliver T. "Buddy" Clemens. Mrs. Clemens was born February 14, 1921, in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Mae Tribune McKee. She was educated in the Wilmington school system.
She was a member of the Bible Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmington. She loved her family and friends very much, and they loved her back. She helped many people, especially her family. She will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Clemens is survived by a daughter, Mary Hazel Jameson Gary of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; 70 great-great grandchildren; and her special friends, Betty Nevels, Lucille Spradley, Evelyn McKee, Carrie Jones, and Barbara Bart. In addition to her first and second husbands and parents, a son, Benjamin Jameson Jr., a daughter, Shirley Scott, three brothers, Tony Ringo, Elmer Ringo, and Charles Richard McKee, and a sister, Elizabeth Jean Fisher, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Bible Missionary Baptist Church, 243 Grant St., Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Kurtis Summerville officiating. Special thanks are given to her granddaughter, Lanean Young, her grandson, Sammy Jameson, her sister-in-law, Francis Hill, and her niece, Jeannette Ringo, who helped her in her time of need. Special thanks are also given to her loving great granddaughter, Ashanta Guinn, who provided for Mrs. Clemens until her last breath in her home. The family also gives special thanks to Dr. Lorenzo Tate.
NORMAN R. ROSS
Norman R. Ross, 58, of Clarksville, Ohio died 9:25 PM, Monday, September 21, 2009 at his residence. His wife, Tammy Howard Ross, survives. Mr. Ross was born December 18, 1950 in Rock, West Virginia, son of the late Elmer G. and Bessie E. Bledsoe Ross. He served in the United States Army.
Mr. Ross was commander of the Johnny Burton Memorial VFW Post 1646 in Harveysburg. Additionally, he was a member of the American Legion Post 49 and the Sligo Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1224.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Ross is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lavina Linn (Keith) Hayes of Blanchester, Ohio and Billie Ann (Adrian) Wolf of Maineville, Ohio; two sisters and three brothers-in-law, Rhoda (Gene) Mason of Clarksville, Ohio, Dee (Skip) Miller of Clarksville, Ohio, and John Conger of Clarksville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Xavier N. Paris, Toby K. Hayes, Winson W. Wolf, and Carly L. Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a sister, Debbie Conger is preceded in death.

KATHRYN JUNE POWELL
Kathryn June Powell, 90, of New Vienna, Ohio died 12:37 AM, Monday, September 28, 2009 at Millrun Gardens and Care Center, Hilliard, Ohio. Her husband, Russell M. Powell, preceded her in death February 16, 1996. They were married
April 29, 1948. Mrs. Powell was born April 29, 1919 in Midland, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles H. and Kathleen McLaughlin Nester.
She was a secretary for East Clinton Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Wilmington and a former member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in New Vienna. She was also a member of the New Vienna Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Powell is survived by a sister, Julia Pond of Mobile, Alabama; three nieces, Julia Ann McKinnell of Mobile, Alabama, Patricia (Wayne) Woodall of Winder, Georgia, and Julia K. Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio; three nephews, John William (Connie) Penquite of Galloway, Ohio, Thomas (Joan) Pond of Mobile, Alabama, and Hugh Nester of Wilmington, Ohio; as well as several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, Harry Nester and John Nester, a sister, Mary Eileen Penquite, a niece, Mary Frances Gerdes, and a nephew, Fred Nester, are preceded in death.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O.F. cemetery. GARY "BUD" FRUMP
Gary "Bud" Frump, 35, of Jeffersonville, Ohio died Saturday, August 29, 2009 in Milledgeville, Ohio. Mr. Frump was born September 1, 1975, in Wilmington, son of Amy Frump of Covington, Kentucky, and the late Fred Frump. He graduated from East Clinton High School and Laurel Oaks in 1994. He was a self-employed building contractor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by the mother of his children, Melissa Anders of Jeffersonville, Ohio; a son, Scottie Frump of Jeffersonville, Ohio; a stepson, Brendon of Jeffersonville, Ohio; a daughter, Brittany Frump of Jeffersonville, Ohio; a brother, Jesse (companion Jenny Tolle) Spurlock; a sister, Jennifer (John) Anderson; his grandfather, Paul Hillard; his special parents, Paul and Carolyn Spurlock of New Vienna, Ohio with whom he lived and who raised him as their own son; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Jeanette Frump, and his grandmother, Shirley Gilbert.
