DEBRA MARIE DENIER
Debra Marie Denier, 41, of Clarksville, Ohio (formerly of Grove City, Ohio) died 9:25 PM, Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Miss Denier was born July 25, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Jerry and Carol Denier of Clarksville, Ohio. She was a graduate of Clinton-Massie High School and Miami University.
Miss Denier was a long-term employee of Miller Management, and most recently, worked for Restaurant Associates of Cincinnati. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Wilmington and the Miami University Alumni Association.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Jerome A. "Tony" (Michelle) Denier of Waynesville, Ohio and C. Patrick (Carrie) Denier of Morrow, Ohio; aunts and uncles, Kirk and Ruth Davis, Tom and Patty Denier and John and Genny Leesemann; six nephews, Anthony, Sam, Danny, Nick, Chase and Connor; and several cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. James M. Wedig officiating. JOANN C. JONES
JoAnn C. Jones, 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio died 12:15 AM, Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Maple Knoll Village, Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Jones was born March 9, 1925 in New Vienna, Ohio, daughter of the late Ray and Virginia Johnson Carter. She was a graduate of Martinsville High School.
During her life, Ms. Jones was a bookkeeper for Landmark in Wilmington and for two different construction companies in Cincinnati. She was an avid reader.
Ms. Jones is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her sister, Nancy Carter Ayers of Huntsville, Alabama. In addition to her parents, a son, George G. "Buster" Jones Jr., and a sister, Janet Zelenka, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Chaplain Roger High officiating. CLAYTON GASAWAY
Clayton Gasaway, 69, of Wilmington, Ohio went home to be with the Lord 3:58 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at his residence. His wife, Samantha Fite Gasaway, whom he married
December 13, 1958, survives. Mr. Gasaway was born May 9, 1938 in Lewis County, Kentucky, son of the late Thomas and Rose Brown Gasaway. Mr. Gasaway retired in 2000 from the Randall Company after a 42-year career. He was a member of the Sligo Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Gasaway is survived by a son, Cirby (Robin) Gasaway of Clarksville, Ohio; a brother, Clifford Gasaway of Wilmington, Ohio; three sisters, Helen Sprague of Dayton, Ohio, Wanda Williamson of Norwood, Ohio, and Mary Lewis of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hana Gasaway and Cody Gasaway; as well as several nieces, nephews, and close friends. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Thomas Gasaway and Harold Gasaway, and a sister, Virginia Silvey, are preceded in death.

WALTER PARLIER
Walter David Parlier, 63, of Wilmington, Ohio died 7:50 PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Parlier was born June 21, 1944 in Batavia, Ohio, son of the late Lafe Erik Parlier and Rutha Pearl Cox Parlier. He was a truck driver and had driven for R & L and Jamestown Transportation.
Mr. Parlier, who was a very proud father, brother, and grandfather, is survived by three sons, Charles David (Teresa) Parlier of Wilmington, Ohio, Timmy Lee Parlier of Arizona, and William Thedford Parlier of Hillsboro, Ohio; three daughters, Lucinda Kay Parlier Sigman of Hillsboro, Ohio, Melinda Kay Parlier Hayslip of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Margaret Elizabeth Parlier of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Arthur (Debbie) Huffman of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Connie Huffman of Wilmington, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, Sean Patrick Sigman of West Virginia, Jesse Michael Sigman of West Virginia, Josie Lyn Coburn of Hillsboro, Ohio, Tommy Parlier of West Virginia, Cody Parlier of West Virginia, Jacob Parlier of West Virginia, Megan Parlier of West Virginia, Hailey Leach of Columbus, Ohio, Kayden Leach of Columbus, Ohio, Joshua Parlier of Wilmington, Ohio, Adreana Parlier of Wilmington, Ohio, and Christopher Michael Medford Parlier of West Virginia; three step grandchildren, Shawn Pagett of Wilmington, Ohio, Kaycie Pagett of Wilmington, Ohio, and Kyle Pagett of Wilmington, Ohio; his caregiver, Candi Jo Smith, who was like a daughter to him; his lifelong companion, Emma "Amy" Thompson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Parlier is preceded in death by his stepfather, Arthur Leroy Huffman, who raised him; a son, Walter David Parlier Jr.; and a sister, Anna Louise Parlier Pinkerton.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 10, 2007 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, 64 S. South Street, New Vienna, Ohio with Rev. Joe Pinkerton officiating. RUTH A. DAVIDSON
Ruth A. Davidson, 79, of Appletree Apartments, New Vienna, Ohio died 6:55 AM, Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Her husband, Delbert Floyd "Turk" Davidson, preceded her in death. Mrs. Davidson was born November 2, 1928 in Highland County, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert and Inez Warnock Pennington. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by three daughters, Diane K. Thompson of New Vienna, Ohio, Susan E. Davidson of New Vienna, Ohio, and Barbara J. Davidson of New Vienna, Ohio; a son, David F. Davidson of Ohio; a brother, Robert Pennington of Hillsboro, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Virginia Davidson of New Vienna, Ohio; six grandchildren, Leslie (Curt) Rasnic, Kelly (Chris) Rasnic, Stephanie (Richard) Crum, Chad Davidson, Bradley Caplinger, and Jonathon Blair; seven great grandchildren; a close family friend, Jeff Shumaker; her friends and neighbors at Appletree Apartments; and her dog, Katie. In addition to her husband and parents, a son, James Alan "Satch" Davidson, a daughter, Sherri Lynn Davidson, and a brother, Charles Pennington, are preceded in death.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Highland cemetery, Highland, Ohio.
EVERETT "DON" ANDERSON
Everett "Don" Anderson, 64, of Wilmington, Ohio went to be with his Savior 12:40 PM, Thursday, January 10, 2008 while surrounded by family and friends at the Dayton Heart Hospital. Mr. Anderson was born January 1, 1944 in Lancaster, Kentucky, loving son of the late Everett and Virgie Teeter Anderson. His parent preceded him in death quite early in life, and at the age of 14, he was raised by his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Samuel Grubbs in Lockland, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy as a communications officer.
Mr. Anderson founded and retired from D.M. Anderson Inc. He was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington and enjoyed fishing. He was a friend to many and loved by all.
Mr. Anderson is survived by three sons, Daniel (Tracy) Anderson of Lynchburg, Ohio, David (Teisha) Anderson of Science Hill, Kentucky, and Jason (Erica) Anderson of Westerville, Ohio; a sister, Nancy (Samuel) Grubbs of West Chester, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Nicholas Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Jesie Anderson, Josie Anderson, Lindsey Anderson, Adam Anderson, Ava Anderson, Hayden Everett Anderson, and Mandy (John) Walling; three great grandchildren, Shawna Walling, Jenna Walling, and Caleb Walling; and his nieces and nephews, Sharon (Mickey) Witt, Rebecca (Nick) Bate, Victoria Bate, Greg Stanaford, Jeff Stanaford, and Britt Blakey.

JESSICA R. TERRELL
Jessica Renee Terrell, 30, of Santa Fe, New Mexico (formerly of Wilmington, Ohio and Jefferson City, Missouri) died January 9, 2008 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was born July 7, 1977 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of Judy Terrell of Wilmington, Ohio and Charles Terrell of Hollansburg, Ohio. She was a 1995 graduate of Wilmington High School and graduated from Hiram College with a B.S. in marine biology. She also studied in Australia as an exchange student in both high school and college.
Jessica had been the state trail coordinator for the Department of Natural Resources in New Mexico since 2006. One of her main projects was developing the Rio Grande Trail. Prior to working in New Mexico, she held the same position in Missouri, where she had worked on the Katy Trail. She was an active environmentalist and supporter of public lands. She was selected to participate on the American Frontier Southern Team, and as a result, hiked from Texas to Utah utilizing only public lands. She also competed in, and eventually won MotoFemina, a reality series, in which she was awarded a BMW motorcycle. Jessica was an avid photographer, and enjoyed hiking, running, bicycling, and camping.
In addition to her mother and father, Jessica is survived by her brother, Chad Terrell of Wilmington, Ohio her stepmother, Betty Terrell; two stepbrothers, Steve Quinn and Tony Quinn; a stepsister, Niki (Jim) Highly; grandparents, Walter Reeves of Wilmington, Ohio and Lu Terrell of Miamisburg, Ohio; her aunts and uncles, Daniel Reeves, William & Mary Reeves, Vicki Hollis, and Sue Terrell; and her cousins, Elizabeth Reeves, John Reeves, Cameron Evans, and Crissy Terrell. She was preceded in death by two grandparents, Olive Reeves and Charles Terrell Sr.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Martinsville Church of Christ, 28 W. Main Street, Martinsville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the New Mexico State Parks System, P.O. Box 1147, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87504.
JAMES C. HAYES
James Carson Hayes, 71, of Wilmington, Ohio and a winter resident of the River Rest Community in Tavares, Florida died at 4:36 PM, Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne C. Hayes, whom he married
June 28, 1959. Mr. Hayes was born October 3, 1936 in Burdine, Kentucky, son of the late Arville and Lurlie Billiter Hayes.
Mr. Hayes retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves after 34 years of service. During his career he was a flight engineer and aircraft mechanic at the Clinton County Air Force Base and Rickenbacker Air Force Base. For the last 10 years of his career he worked in quality control for the federal government at the G.E. plant in Evendale. He was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the B.P.O. Elks 797, the American Legion Post 49, and AMVETS.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Hayes is survived by a son, Dennis James (Michelle) Hayes of Washington Court House, Ohio; a daughter, Cynthia Ann (Shawan) Williams of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Jeanette Young of Fairmont, West Virginia; and four grandchildren, Andrew Hayes, Kristen Hayes, Garrett Williams, and Sarah Williams. In addition to his parents, a sister, June Davis, is preceded in death.

THELMA R. DARBY
Thelma R. Darby, 78, of Hillsboro, Ohio (formerly of Wilmington, Ohio) died 11:55 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Crestwood Nursing Center, Hillsboro, Ohio. Her husband, Robert Darby, preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Darby was born December 9, 1929 in Tifton, Georgia, daughter of the late Chandler and Ida Tucker Rice. At one time, Mrs. Darby was a L.P.N. in Salina, Kansas. After moving to Ohio with her husband, she worked as a cook for the Wilmington City Schools.
Mrs. Darby is survived by a son, Michael (Janice Keener) Darby of Seminole, Florida, and a sister, Shirley Ann Rice of Hillsboro, Ohio. In addition to her husband and parents, a sister, Murlee Masto, is preceded in death.

CHARLOTTE L. RINGO
Charlotte Laverne Ringo, 51, of Wilmington, Ohio died 5:22 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born April 8, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of Frances Curtis Hill of Wilmington, Ohio and the late Elmer Ringo. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School and a member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church. Charlotte enjoyed bowling and music.
In addition to her mother, Charlotte is survived by a son, Lavelle Ringo of Wilmington, Ohio; three sisters, Jeanette Ringo of Wilmington, Ohio, Patricia Tribune of Wilmington, Ohio, and Joan Sullivan of Atlanta, Georgia; her close niece, Gwen Dermott; a special aunt, Margene Hardin; two grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her father, a brother, Jeffery Ringo, is preceded in death.

VIOLET M. BRAUSCH
Violet M. Brausch, 92, of Wilmington, Ohio died 11:13 AM, Friday, February 8, 2008 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born April 16, 1915 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Clifford and Florence Hoxema Holtkamp. She was a graduate of Western Hills High School.
Ms. Brausch was a seamstress who specialized in custom-made draperies and furniture covers. Later she managed the Graeter's Ice Cream stores in College Hill and Finneytown. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
Ms. Brausch is survived by a son, James W. Brausch of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Lillian Leibel of North College Hill, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jody M. (Arik) Killion of Irvine, California, James M. Brausch of Costa Mesa, California, and Jamie L. Brausch of Wilmington, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Parker Killion and Mason, Killion; two step great grandchildren, Jordon Killion and Tyler Killion; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Clifford Holtkamp and Raymond C. Holtkamp, are preceded in death.
