BRUCE A. MULKEY SR.
Bruce A. Mulkey Sr., 49, of New Vienna, died Friday, May 6, 2005 at his residence. His wife of 29 years, Denise Mulkey, survives. Mr. Mulkey was born November 3, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Barbara Minnear Skunza of Waverly, Ohio.
Mr. Mulkey worked for Wilmington Mechanical Heating and Cooling Inc.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Mulkey is survived by two sons, B.J. (Tabitha) Mulkey of Wilmington, Ohio and Rowdy Farmer of New Vienna, Ohio; two daughters, Beth Mulkey of New Vienna, Ohio and Nakkea Mulkey of Wilmington, Ohio; a brother, Mate Skunza of Grove City, Ohio; three sisters, Vickie (Gary) Cline of Columbus, Ohio, Georgia (Jim) Howbert of Columbus, Ohio, and Pam (Victor) Jude of Waverly, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Toby Pyle, Seth "Scooter" Pyle, and Miah Mulkey. His stepfather, Mate "Mike" Skunza, is preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2005 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

JEAN PEARSON SPERRY SHIDAKER
Jean Pearson Sperry Shidaker, 81, of 514 W. High Street, Waynesville, Ohio (formerly of Wilmington, Ohio) died 3:45 PM, Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home. Her husband, Morris E. Shidaker, preceded her in death November 16, 1995. They were married October 6, 1946. Mrs. Shidaker was born March 26, 1924 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul R. and Ruby Pearson Sperry. She was a 1942 graduate of Wilmington High School and a graduate of the Office Training School in Columbus, Ohio.
Mrs. Shidaker worked 21 years for Dennis & Cartwright as a legal secretary before her retirement. She was a member of the New Vienna #327 Order of Eastern Star, a past matron of the former Wilmington Chapter O.E.S., past Deputy Grand Matron of District 21 O.E.S., a member of the Hebron Rebekah Lodge #154, the Wilmington Friends Meeting, the Yani Club, the Progressive Mother’s Club, the Brush & Pen Club, the C.M.H. Auxiliary, several bridge clubs, as well as a longtime Clinton Memorial Hospital volunteer. She was a former member of the Friends “DD” Housing Board and former board member of the Clinton County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Shidaker is survived by two sons, Ronald A. (Judith) Shidaker of Wilmington, Ohio and Edwin P. (Susan) Shidaker of Hilliard, Ohio; a daughter, Susan J. Shidaker (Larry) Reinsmith of Wilmington, Ohio; a half sister, Louise (Frelan) Van Meter of Washington Court House, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Harriett Shidaker of Kettering, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Brian Shidaker, Shannon Shidaker (Rex) Huffman, Shelli Keyser, Christopher (Shauna) Shidaker, Jeffery Morgan, Sarah Shidaker, Ryan Shidaker, Kelly Reinsmith (Joshua) Fisher, and Jennifer Reinsmith; seven great grandchildren, Carter Huffman, Sophia Huffman, Devin Shidaker, Kurt Keyser, Brooke Shidaker, Madison Shidaker, and Cori Morgan; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, a half sister, Paula Leto, and a great grandson, Justin Shidaker, and her stepmother, Lillian Sperry, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio. Friends may call from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home with Eastern Star and Rebekah services that evening. RUSSELL C. DUGAN
Russell C. Dugan, 88 of 444 N. South Street, Apt. 8, Wilmington, Ohio died 7:05 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence. His wife, Edith Carter Dugan, whom he married August 22, 1993, survives. His first wife, Geneva Dugan, is preceded in death. Mr. Dugan was born March 15, 1917 in Highland County, Ohio, son of the late Jessie and Ada Dugan.
Mr. Dugan retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant in 1961 after serving 20 years. During his military career he served in World War II and the Korean War. He then worked as a guard at the Lebanon Correctional Institute, retiring in 1978. Mr. Dugan was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene where he served as a greeter and an usher, and prepared communion. He enjoyed bowling and participated in Wilmington bowling leagues. He also enjoyed woodworking and making blankets for homeless people in Cincinnati. Mr. Dugan loved mowing his grass and gardening. He had a large garden for many years.
In addition to his wife, Edith, Mr. Dugan is survived by three sons, James R. (Serina) Dugan of Blanchester, Ohio, Michael J. (Carol) Dugan of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, and Leonard R. (Maryann) Dugan of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; two daughters, Darlene (Alfred) Hendricks of Midland, Texas and Tina (Johnny) Mann of Loveland, Ohio; two sisters, Juanita Thompson of Peebles, Ohio and Marie Emmons of Milford, Ohio; a nephew, Jim Fields; four stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his first wife and parents, two brothers and four sisters are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 8230 U.S. Rte. 50, Hillsboro, Ohio with Rev. Tom Zile & Rev. Robert Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove cemetery, Adams County. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. MELVILLE FRANKLIN "BUCK" "BUD" WALLACE
Melville Franklin "Buck" "Bud" Wallace, 87, of 6498 State Route 134 South, Wilmington, Ohio, died 8:40 AM, Monday, December 26, 2005 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. His wife, Mary O. Campbell Wallace, survives. They were married on October 18, 1976. Mr. Wallace was born October 27, 1918, in Bethel Township, Clark County, Ohio, son of the late Leonidas D. and Effie Elizabeth Grube Wallace.
Mr. Wallace worked for the New York Central Railroad in Springfield, Ohio for 12 years. He then served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II. After the war, he worked for Schaeffer Baker Company in Springfield for 28 years until his retirement. He later drove a semi truck for U.S. Express for seven years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Wallace is survived by five sons, Paul (Jenny) Heath of Anderson, South Carolina, Frank (Donna) Wallace of Wheatcroft, Kentucky, James Campbell of Atmore, Alabama, Robert L. (Dawn R.) Campbell of Midland, Ohio, and John W. Campbell and his fiancee Amy Wilkin of New Vienna, Ohio; seven daughters, Jo (Sam) Hubbard of Springfield, Ohio, Sharon (John) Fine of Vallejo, California, Nita Smith of Vallejo, California, Beth (Gerold) Fox of Vallejo, California, Stella M. (Mark J.) Anderson of Wilmington, Ohio, Mary F. Johnson and Butch Lightle of Sabina, Ohio, and Sara L. (Rusty) Moon of Martinsville, Ohio; 41 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by seven brothers, six sisters, and two grandchildren, Lisa Ann Heath and Holly Mae Johnson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Elizabeth J. Looney officiating. Burial will be in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. cemetery, Martinsville, Ohio. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

JERRY DOYLE "J.D." BRYANT, ESQUIRE
Jerry Doyle "J.D." Bryant, Esquire, a prominent resident of Wilmington, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 after a brief illness.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Griffin Bryant and children, Morgan Ruth Bryant and Connor Kelly Bryant of Wilmington, Ohio, Laura (Jason) Besser of Wilmington, Ohio, Jennifer (Matt) Berner of Springfield, Ohio, and Jeremy (Jamie) Bryant of Wilmington, Ohio. He was very proud of his grandchildren, Luke, Adrienne, and Coen Besser, Eli and Abby Berner, and Brynnley Bryant. He is also survived by brothers, Dean (Christine) Bryant of Cincinnati, Ohio, Delmar (Janice) Smith of Sumter, North Carolina; sisters, Kay (Ray) Bray of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ann (George) Jones of Whitley City, Kentucky. Jerry was the caring son-in-law of Mike and Ruth Kelly of Goshen, Ohio and Fred and Liz Griffin of Delray Beach, Florida; he was a brother-in-law to Marla and David Veatch of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jay and Brenda Griffin of Goshen, Ohio, and Jenifer and Daryl Neltner of Alexandria, Kentucky; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, Fred and Bertie Bryant, formerly of Whitley City, Kentucky along with three infant brothers, precede him in death.
Jerry will be so greatly missed by his large family and many, many friends. He has been very kind and helpful to so many people and touched the lives of those around him.
Jerry was an attorney in his hometown of Wilmington, Ohio and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Clinton County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Ohio Association of Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Clarksville F&AM; Lodge 323, the American Legion Post 49, the Clinton County Board of Elections, the Clinton Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, the University of the Cumberlands Board of Trustees, the Ohio Democratic Party, a Central Committee member for Union North, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Jerry graduated from Cumberland College, Williamsburg, Kentucky in 1969, and from the Indiana University School of Law in 1974.
Jerry accepted Christ as his personal Savior and the membership that he valued most was in the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington and of First Baptist Church on the Beach in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. He cherished his time with his family and friends at "Bryant's Beach Bungalow" in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Now he is walking on streets (sand) of gold with his Lord and Savior.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, 55 Megan Drive, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Kelly D. McInerney officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 49 Memorial Squad. Friends may call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington.

RAEDINE L. HARTMAN
Raedine L. Hartman, 51, of Terrace Park, Ohio died 8:11 AM, Friday, December 30, 2005 at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born May 7, 1954, a daughter of Delpherine Fay Harris of Wilmington and the late Willard Harris. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her former husband, Wayne Hartman of Deer Park, Ohio; a daughter, Amanda Hartman of Greencastle, Indiana; two sons, Philip Hartman of Terrace Park, Ohio and Neal Hartman of Terrace Park, Ohio; a brother, Kenneth Harris of Wilmington, Ohio; two sisters, Pauline Harris (Thomas) Lorenzetti of Bristol, Connecticut and Gaylene Harris (Cortez) Hamilton of Wilmington, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by twin infant sons, Bryan Allen and Aaron Andrew Hartman and a brother, Randall Harris. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St., Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Randy Fannin officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2005 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. LAUREEN BURROUGHS
Laureen Burroughs, 63, of New Vienna, Ohio died 1:35 PM, Friday, December 30, 2005. Ms. Burroughs was born May 26, 1942 in Knott County, Kentucky, daughter of Laura Meade Turner of New Vienna, Ohio and the late Oscar B. Turner. In addition to her mother, Ms. Burroughs is survived by her former husband, Robert E. G. Burroughs of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Robert B. Burroughs of Alexandria, Virginia and Jason D. Burroughs of Columbus, Ohio; seven brothers, Raymond Turner of Farmers Station, Ohio, Sherman (Donna) Turner of New Vienna, Ohio, James (Janie) Turner of Michigan, Paul (Carolyn) Turner of Florida, Barkley (Sharon) Turner of Michigan, Joe (Judy) Turner of Kansas, and Eddie (Mary) Turner of Kansas; a sister, Gracine (Harry) Ertel of Farmers Station, Ohio; six grandchildren, Michael McLees, Emily McLees, Edna McLees, Sam McLees, Amanda Burroughs, and Alex Burroughs; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. In addition to her father, a brother, Richard Turner, and a sister, Margie Moore, are preceded in death.

EVELYN L. HILLING
Evelyn L. Hilling, 92, of 75 Hale Street, Wilmington, Ohio (formerly of Port William, Ohio) died 11:43 AM, Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence. Her husband, Carl Hilling, preceded her in death September 28, 1985. They were married December 8, 1956. Mrs. Hilling was born May 6, 1913 in Clinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Ellison and Grace Fiers Larrick. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School and Wilmington College. She received her Masters of Science from The Ohio State University.
Mrs. Hilling was the chief laboratory technician at Clinton Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Mrs. Hilling is survived by her stepson, Nelson (Patricia) Hilling of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Beth (William) Novick of Greenbelt, Maryland, Mark (Cheryl) Hilling of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Carla Hilling of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; and seven great grandchildren, Jacob Novick, Ben Novick, Alexis Downie, Matthew Hilling, Sarah Hilling, Alex Sheinfeld, and Madeleine Sheinfeld.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Donald K. Mertz officiating. ROGER DALE "PEE WEE" YOUNKER
Roger Dale "Pee Wee" Younker, 49, of 5155 U.S. 68 N., Wilmington, Ohio died 9:45 AM, Monday, January 30, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Mr. Younker was born December 3, 1956 in New Burlington, Clinton County, Ohio, son of the late Vernon and Mildred Larrick Younker. He was a machinist at Midwest Precast. He had also worked for the Randall Company in Wilmington. Mr. Younker enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
Mr. Younker is survived by a son, Joseph Dale Younker of Wilmington, Ohio; two stepsons, James L. Tipton of Wilmington, Ohio and Robert G. Tipton of Wilmington, Ohio; seven brothers, Ralph (Martha) Younker of Xenia, Ohio, Virgil (Mariel) Younker of Lynchburg, Ohio, David (Margaret) Younker of Jamestown, Ohio, James Younker of Wilmington, Ohio, Herb (Cheryl) Younker of Reesville, Ohio, Marvin (Michelle) Younker of Wilmington, Ohio, and Kenny (Melisa) Younker of Port William, Ohio; a sister, Carla McCoy of Xenia, Ohio; three stepgrandchildren, Joshua L. Tipton, Eliza Tipton, and Robert Tipton Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a sister, Barbara Lee, two infant sisters, and an infant brother, are preceded in death.

ANNA LOUISE PINKERTON
Anna Louise Pinkerton, 64, of 6851 Shaw Baker Road, Seaman, Ohio (formerly of New Vienna) went to be with our Lord 7:40 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2006 after a long illness. Her husband of 48 years, Joe Pinkerton Jr., survives. Mrs. Pinkerton was born July 11, 1941 in Bethel, Ohio, daughter of the late Pearl Huffman and Lafe Parlier. She was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pinkerton is survived by three daughters, Debby Johnson of Seaman, Ohio, Terri (John) Willett of New Vienna, Ohio, and Becky (David) Huffman of Beavercreek, Ohio; a foster daughter, Donyell Warden; three brothers, Walt Parlier of Wilmington, Ohio, Arthur (Debbie) Huffman of New Antioch, Ohio, and Lafe Eric Parlier of Loveland, Ohio; three sisters, Connie Huffman of Wilmington, Ohio, Janet (Larry) Thompson of Loveland, Ohio, and Claudia Gillespie of Loveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Clint (Maggie) Huffman of Seattle, Washington, James Johnson of Wilmington, Ohio, Gloria (Henry) Schrimper of Lynchburg, Ohio, Tammi (Matt) Bailey of New Vienna, Ohio, Heather (Scott) Root of Fairborn, Ohio, Kelli (Jacob) Metz of Portsmouth, Virginia, Hilary Huffman of Fairborn, Ohio, and Stacey Johnson of Seaman, Ohio; her stepmother, Ada Parlier; nine great grandchildren; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was blessed with a very special friend, Jill Cox, and many, many other friends. In addition to her parents, her stepfather, Roy Huffman, is preceded in death.

South Street, New Vienna, Ohio or from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church.
