Carol J. Skillings
(June 3, 1932 - January 2, 2015)
Carol J. Skillings, age 82, of Springfield, Ohio and formerly of Wauseon, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at Essex Nursing Facility in Springfield, OH. Prior to her retirement, she had been a wife, mother, bookkeeper, housewife, and small business owner. She volunteered at Crisis Pregnancy Center, Fellowship Christian Church, and Fellowship Food Pantry, where she was known as the “cookie lady” because she always baked and brought cookies to be handed out.
Carol was born in Wauseon, OH on June 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Freeman and late Ida (Seiler) Wyse. On July 17, 1955 she married
Wilbur L. Skillings. She was a member of Swan Creek Church of the Brethren of Delta, OH and Fellowship Christian Church of Springfield, OH.
Surviving are six children: Vickie (James) Houck of Bonita Springs, FL. Jeff (Linda) Skillings of Hamler, OH, Terrie (Rohn) Kennington of Springfield, OH, Jill (Tim) Warner of Lancaster, OH, Angela (Edward) McKenna of Goshen, IN, Jana (Ric) Bell of London, OH, 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and five sisters; Evelyn Baker, Doris Rupp, Vera Saunders, Alberta Wyse, and Iris Jean Armstrong.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, with Grant Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Winameg cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Swan Creek Church of the Brethren or Fellowship’s Food Pantry.
Cyndie L. Aliemenious
(April 29, 1975 - January 2, 2015)
Cyndie L. Aliemenious, age 39, of Wauseon passed away Friday January 2, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 29, 1975 the daughter of Larry and Midori (Matsuyama) Aliemenious. She was a member of SGI International. She enjoyed music, her family and her dogs, Taro and Duke.
Surviving are her children; Chelcie Morse and James Morse, her life long partner; Barry Waldfogel, sisters; Tammy Hiyune and Wendy Aliemenious, brothers Frank (Linda) Billing and Chris Aliemenious and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank SGI members and Heartland Hospice for they do.

Dorothy I. Meier
(July 4, 1924 - January 3, 2015)
Dorothy I. Meier, age 90, of Wauseon passed away at the Defiance Area Inpatient Care Center in Saturday, January 3, 2015. Prior to her retirement she had been a bookkeeper for Meier Trucking.
Dottie was born on July 4, 1924 in West Unity, Ohio to Harvey and Vera (Strausbaugh) Bowman. She attended a one - room school for her elementary years and at timess was the only member of her class. She graduated from West Unity High School and then attended Davis Business College. In 1945 she married
Richard E. Meier and they had 57 years together until his passing in 2002, enjoying the mild winters in Mesa, Arizona. She and her husband loved to travel and enjoyed their motor home traveling every year to the EAA Convention in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was a long time member of Crossroads Church in Wauseon and enjoyed worshiping there every Sunday and then lunching with her very good friends.
She especially enjoyed celebrating her 90th birthday this summer with a luncheon with her friends and then a day with her family at Hamilton Lake.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carol Meier of Wauseon, son, Ed (Linda) Meier of Wauseon, three grandchildren, Jonathan (Nancy) Dooley of Indianapolis, Casie (Clay) Stevens of Indianapolis, Ryan Meier of Las Vegas, two great-grandchildren, Jackson Patrick Dooley and Kennedy Jean Dooley of Indianapolis. Two Sisters - in - law, Marguerite Meier Kingsbury of Archbold and Mary Ellen Meier of Archbold. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceding her in death are parents, husband, Richard and her sister, Geneva Rueger along with brothers - in - law Orville Rueger, Warren Kingsbury and Herb Meier.
A Memorial service will be held at 12:00pm Noon Friday, January 09, 2015 at the Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon with Pastor Tyler Quillet officiating. Friends may call in the Chapel at Crossroads Evangelical Church on Thursday, January 08, 2015 from 3:00 - 6:00pm. Richard Alan Rosebrook

Richard Alan Rosebrook, age 80, of Stryker, died suddenly Sunday, January 04, 2015 in Community Hospitals and Welleness Center, Bryan, Ohio. He was born April 1, 1934 in Morenci, Michigan to the late Harold and Glennabell (VanSickle) Rosebrook. He married
Helen I. Taylor on July 25, 1953 and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2007. Richard was a 40 year employee at Borden Chemical Company, Morenci, Michigan retiring as a Manager of the business. Over the years he was also a farmer, a Little League and Babe Ruth coach in Morenci. He was a avid outdoorsman. Following his retirement, he worked part - time at the Riverside Greens Golf Course, in Stryker, Ohio. Richard was a graduate of Morenci High School and served in the National Guard.
Survivors, sons, Robb and Linda Rosebrook, Stryker, Ohio. Tim and Jodi Rosebrook, Morenci, Michigan. Paul and Kathy Rosebrook, Hardy, Arkansas. Daughter, Linda and Kim Taylor, West Unity, Ohio. 9 grandchildren. 13 great-grandchildren. Fiance, Gyneth Richardson, Napoleon, Michigan.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Paul Rosebrook, of Pikeville, Kentucky.
Memorial service 12:00 noon Saturday, January 10, 2015, in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio. Rev. Dane Meuschke officiating. Interment will be in Packard cemetery, rural Morenci, Michigan. Friends may call in the Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Saturday.

Ruth E. Etoll
(Died January 8, 2015)
Ruth E. Etoll, age 89, of Coldwater, Michigan, and formerly of Stryker, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, January 8, 2015 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
Ruth was born in Stryker, Ohio on February 20, 1925, the daughter of Carlton and Edith (VanWagner) Collins. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Coldwater, MI and enjoyed attending the Northview Christian Church in Coldwater, as well. She loved playing Bingo and Bid Euchre, but her passion was fishing.
She is survived by her children; Mary Jo O’Brien of Lusby, MD, Linda Etoll of Jacksonville, FL, Patricia (John) Schmidt of Coldwater, MI, Ernest (Mary Lynn) Etoll of Lake Seneca, Ohio, Ellen (Rich) Bailey, Christine (Randy) Warner and Alice Hall, all of Edgerton, Tracy (friend Kevin Lyons) Etoll of Payson, AZ, Scott (Joanne) Etoll of Coldwater, MI, Eric Etoll of Defiance, OH, and Julia Etoll and Brian Etoll, both of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one sister, Gertrude (Fred) Sanders of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Cornell J. Etoll, II; sisters Elizabeth Young, Norma Fitzenrider and Mary Collins, and her brother, Robert Collins.
Visitation for Ruth will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. A eulogy for Ruth will be held at 10:15 A.M., followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgerton, with Father David Cirata, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood cemetery in Stryker. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to “family choice”.
Kimberley Elaine Fogarty
(Died January 9, 2015)
Kimberley Elaine Fogarty, age 51, of Delta, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2015, in her home. Kimberley was self - employed and enjoyed helping as an adult caregiver to many in the area.
Kimberley was born in Toledo on January 27, 1963, the daughter of Gay and Helen (Severino) Hallock. She is survived by her son, Michael (Jaime) Fogarty of Wauseon; four beloved granddaughters, Brailyn, Isabella, Halle and Gianna; and two brothers, Tim Hallock of Delta and Earl Hallock of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Kimberley will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, where a Celebration of Kimberley’s Life will follow at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Rex Stump, officiating. William R. Guthrie
(Died January 10, 2015)
William R. “Bill” Guthrie, age 72, of Stryker, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Toledo Hospital. Prior to his retirement in 2004 he had worked as an electrician for Anderson - Vreeland in Bryan for 15 years.
Bill was born in Stryker on November 21, 1942, the son of Frederic and Margaret (Grubbs) Guthrie. On November 8, 1986 he married
Sharon Ryan, and she survives. He was an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Stryker American Legion Post 60 and a member of the Bryan AMVETS Post 54. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and hiking. He was also a Ham Radio Operator and a “retired Bingo player”.
Surviving is his wife, Sharon; two sons, Tony Russel (Jill) Guthrie of Pioneer, William Frederic (Linda) Guthrie of Stryker; step-son, Bobby Bigger of Bryan; grandchildren, Karina, Kayden, Ashlynn, Katelynn, Shandy, Robert, and, Enoch. He is also survived by a sister, Linda (Everett) Cooper of Stryker; uncle, Walt (Vanice) Guthrie of Stryker; and his pet dog, Skippy. He was preceded in death by his parents, and pet dogs, Kati Jo and Lady.
Visitation for Bill will be held on from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, at the United Brethren Church in Stryker, with Pastor Nick Woodall, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood cemetery in Stryker. The family request that memorial contributions be given to the Williams County Humane Society.
Luther M. Reinking
(July 23, 1924 - January 16, 2015)
Luther M. Reinking, age 90, of Wauseon passed away late Friday January 16, 2015 at The Lutheran Home in Napoleon. Prior to his retirement he had been a lifelong area farmer and had also worked in security for the Campbell Soup Company for more than 25 years.
Mr. Reinking was born on July 23, 1924 in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio the son of the late Herbert and the late Ida (Schroeder) Reinking. He married
the former Bertha Wolf and she preceded him in death in 1984. He then married
Doris Lohse in 1987 and she preceded him in death in 2013. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of rural Stryker. He was also a US Army veteran of WWII having served in the Pacific Theater. In 2012 he was honored to be selected to participate in the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to view the World War Two Memorial.
Surviving are children; Bev (Jim) Lingvai, Paula (Bill) Cathcart, Mark Reinking, Kathy (Jerry) Koppenhofer, Natalie (Mark) Weinhardt and Dean (Diane) Reinking. Also surviving is step-son; Dave (Toni) Lohse, 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death besides his parents and wives was step-son; Mike Lohse and brother Robert Reinking.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeffrey Corder officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 2:00 - 8:00pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the St. John Lutheran Church Stained Glass Fund or Henry County Hospice. Jerry Gee, Sr.
(February 5, 1939 - January 23, 2015)
Jerry L. Gee, Sr., age 75, of Wauseon passed away January 23, 2015 at the Fulton County Health Center. Prior to his retirement he had been employed by Kuntz Construction.
Mr. Gee was born on February 5, 1939 in Fulton County, the son of the late Lawrence and Lucille Gee. He married
the former Marilyn Dickman on December 22, 1962 and she survives. He was a member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church of Wauseon. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by son Jerry Gee, Jr. and daughter Josette (Robert Temple, Jr.) McCowan both of Wauseon; grandson Kaleb (Susie Campbell) Leahy; great-grandson James Leahy and great-granddaughter Adalyn Leahy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon with the Rev. Charles Althoff officiating. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Lucile M. Kosier
(Died January 25, 2015)
Lucile M. (Blain) Kosier, 91, passed away on the 25th of January, 2015 at Fulton County Medical Center, Wauseon, Ohio. She was born on 3rd of December, 1923 in Adrian, Michigan to Arthur J. and Mary M. (Bryan) Blain.
Lucile (Lucy) grew up in Adrian, Michigan and has lived in Wauseon for over 70 years. She worked at Essex Wire for 30 years and then retired after 17 years with Perfection Finishers. She was a member of the VFW Post 7424, Wauseon. In retirement Lucy enjoyed gardening, shopping for bargains and caring for her dog Suzey.
Lucile was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Wayne (Bud) E. Kosier, parents Arthur and Mary Blain, brother and sister - in - law, Lester F. and Corrine Lowe and five siblings.
Lucile is survived by her niece Cheryl (Ralph) Morton of Indooroopilly, Queensland, Australia, nephew Craig (Patricia) Lowe of Grove City, Ohio and niece Cynthia (Scott) Killy, Whitehouse, Ohio; special friends Martha Servoss and family, Ruth Ann Tanner, Kyra Killy and her beloved companion, Suzey.
A memorial service will be held at Edgar - Grisier 219 S Fulton St, Wauseon, OH at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 28th of January, 2015, with Pastor Don Krieger, officiating. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Burial will follow at Wauseon, Union cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Greater Lakes Caring Hospice.
