Margaret R. (Martinez) MORGAS
Margaret R. (Martinez) MORGAS, age 89, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at Heartland Nursing Home in Wauseon. She was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Hospital Dietician.
She was the daughter of the late Alex Martinez and the late Christina Martinez.
She is also survived by her

A memorial prayer service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday February 19, 2004 at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with the Rev. Fr. Robert Holden officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Caspar cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Anna Jane Creager
Anna Jane Creager, age 86, of Wauseon, died Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. Prior to her retirement she had been a Beautician in her own shop, Jane's Beauty Shop in Wauseon, for 52 years.
Mrs. Creager was born in Wauseon on December 5, 1917, the daughter of Dale and Merle (Kesler) Turney. On December 12, 1936 she married
Alvin L. Creager, and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2003. She was a member of the Church of the Master - United Methodist Church in Wauseon.
She is survived by her:

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 at the Church of the Master - United Methodist Church in Wauseon, with the Rev. Ben Sheaffer and the Rev. Myron Kottke, officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union cemetery. Friends may call at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the church or Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
S. Gene "Geno" Zeigler
S. Gene "Geno" Zeigler, age 74, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004, in his home. Prior to his retirement in 1991 he had worked as a lineman for Toledo Edison for 47 years.
Mr. Zeigler was born in Wauseon, on April 20, 1929, the son of Earl and Lenora (Imes) Zeigler. In 1950 he married
Bonnie Bureau, and she survives. He was a member of the First Church of God in Wauseon, where he had served as Head Usher for over 30 years. A Navy Veteran of the Korean War, he had served with the Sea Bee's. He was a member of the Wauseon American Legion, the Wauseon F & AM, and the Eastern Star.

Brother - Jack Zeigler of Wauseon, Ohio
Brother - Roger Zeigler of Toledo, Ohio
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two granddaughters Mercedes and Seville Gilson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the First Church of God, with the Rev. Wesley Glines, officiating. Interment will be in the Wauseon Union cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties. Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon is in charge of arrangements.
Isaac Andrew Downing
Isaac Andrew Downing, infant son of Andrew and Kami (Heising) Downing, of Wauseon, Ohio, was born and passed away Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Toledo Hospital.
He is also survived by one uncle; Derek (Sarah) Heising of Wauseon, four Aunts; Kayla Heising of Wauseon, Melissa Waddington of Archbold, and Alicia and Angela Downing of Wauseon. Also surviving is maternal Grandmother; Sandy Heising of Wauseon, maternal grandfather; Keith Heising, Jr. of Delta, Paternal grandfather William (Rowena) Downing of Wauseon and Paternal grandmother; Julie (David) Fronk of Celina, OH. Also surviving are maternal great-grandparents; Keith and Barbara Heising, Sr. of Stryker and Junior and Ilva Bourn of Traverse City, MI and paternal great-grandparents, Glen and Beverly Gamber of Pemberville and Gertrude Downing of Wauseon.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home.

Richard L. "Dick" Schlueter
July 31, 2013
Richard L. “Dick” Schlueter, age 76, of Quincy, Michigan and formerly of Pettisville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in his home. Prior to his retirement he had owned and operated, along with his wife “Dee”, the former Dick and Dee’s Photography Studio in Pettisville for over 40 years.
Dick was born in Defiance, Ohio on April 20, 1937, the son of Martin and Helen (Dirr) Schlueter. On May 17, 1957 he married
Dianne “Dee” Eicher, and she survives. A member of the Professional Photographers Association of America, he had earned “Master of Photography”. Dick was a Navy Veteran from 1955 – 1956. He was also a licensed Amateur Radio Operator and licensed Private Pilot. Dick was an avid sailor and had an uncanny sense of humor!
Surviving besides his wife, Dee, are three sons, Mark (Chris) Schlueter of Wauseon, Tim (Laurie) Schlueter of St. Louis, MO, Joe (Yvette) Schlueter of Coldwater, MI; one daughter, Becky (Gus) Steinmetz of Milford, OH; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bob (Jean) Schlueter of Florida and Don (Jeanie) Schlueter of Wauseon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. James Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Robert Eickmann, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. James cemetery, near Archbold. There will be no visitation. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to LCMS.org/schlueter. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
Connie Koppenhofer
(Died September 3, 2012)
Connie Koppenhofer, age 63 of Delta passed away peacefully Monday September 3, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief battle with cancer. She had worked as an OB nurse at the Fulton County Health Center for more than 40 years.
Connie was born on October 5, 1948 in Delta, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and the late Arlene Calaway. In 1969 she married
Gary Koppenhofer and he preceded her in death in 1991. After graduating from Delta High School in 1966 she attended and graduated from the St. Vincent School of Nursing in Toledo in 1969. Besides being a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and co - worker some of Connie’s passions were initiating and developing programs for the OB department including Lamaze, HOPE group, PIP group, Postpartum education program and working for the Prenatal Clinic at the Fulton County Health Department.
Surviving are daughters; Kam (Jami) Greisinger and Kara (Mike) and granddaughter; Willa Rosene and Daughter - in - Law Michelle Koppenhofer all residing in Delta. Also surviving are sisters; Kathy (Mike) Phillips and Karen (Dennis) Burkholder, Mother - in - Law and Father - in - Law; Norbert and Dottie Koppenhofer of Wauseon, Sister - in - Law Jean (Bill) Herrick and Brother - in - Law Keith (Joyce) Koppenhofer and many nieces and nephews also survive. Her longtime friend and companion Rich Rodriguez and his children; Matt, Tristin, Hannah and Delaney; Mandy; Jenny (Jason) and Jack; Katie, Madison, Logan; Richie (Meg), Ava and RJ survive. Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents son; Steve (Koop) Koppenhofer and brother; Steven R. Calaway.
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta on Friday at 11:00am with Rev. Eric Markovich officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2:00 - 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta, the Koop Memorial Fund or Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties. The Grisier Funeral Home in Delta has been entrusted with arrangements.
Doris M. McCullough
(August 6, 1929 - September 8, 2012)
Doris M. McCullough, age 83, of Wauseon passed away early Saturday September 8, 2012 at Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon. Prior to her retirement she had worked for Napco Plastics in Napoleon. When Napco Plastics closed in Napolen she worked at Small Parts in Wauseon, then at WalMart in Napoleon in retirement after she retired from Small Parts.
Mrs. McCullough was born in Forest, IL on August 6, 1929 the daughter of the late Otha and Lydia (Honegger) Jones. She married
to Paul Wilson and was then married
to James McCullough. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Napoleon.
Surviving are two daughters; Adele (Gary) Griffin of Wauseon, Lillie Marlane Overcashier of Dewey, OK, two sons; Lester Wilson of Hailey, ID and Scott (Beth) McCullough of Crisfield, MD. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A sister, Priscilla Bardwell of Toledo also survives. Preceding her in death was daughter, Donna Wilson, sister; Dorothy Bly and brothers Richard Jones and Robert Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday September 15, 2012 at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Rev. Charles Althoff officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gideons International.
Clarence E. Barlow
(March 28, 1925 - September 9, 2012)
Clarence E. Barlow, age 87, of Swanton passed away early Sunday September 9, 2012 at Swanton Healthcare and Retirement. Prior to his retirement he had worked as a Machinist for Swanton Machine.
Mr. Barlow was born in Delta, Ohio on March 28, 1925 the son of the late Ernest and the late Violet (Heft) Barlow. Surviving are two sons Gary Barlow and Ronald Barlow both of Florida, two daughters; Patricia (Terry) Shidler and Nancy (Norman) Self both of Swanton. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother; Lawrence Barlow of Lyons, Ohio and sister; LaDonna Mason of Arizona. Preceding him in death was a son; Kenneth Barlow, brother, Richard Barlow and sister Ernestine Mathers.
Graveside funeral services will be held on 10:00am Wednesday September 12, 2012 at the Raker cemetery near Delta with Pastor Don Krieger officiating. Friends may call at the Grisier Funeral Home in Delta on Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be made the Bittersweet Farms.
Paul J. Arnos
(Died September 9, 2012)
Paul J. Arnos, age 91, of rural Stryker, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon. Prior to his retirement, he had been a lifelong area farmer.
Paul was born in Defiance County, Ohio on May 31, 1921, the son of Frederick and Frieda (Wesche) Arnos. On December 1, 1946 he married
Esther Schumacher, and she preceded him in death in 2008. Together they were blessed with two children and lived a busy, productive life on the family farm in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, corner of US 6 and State Route 66, Stryker, where he had been President of the Congregation, the Sunday School Superintendent and had also been a teacher. He had also been active with the choir and had held numerous offices within the church. Paul had been on the board of directors for the Ridgeville Telephone Company, and had been active with the Lutheran Laymen’s League. Paul enjoyed Dartball.
Surviving is one son, David (Karen) Arnos of Stryker; one daughter, Marilyn (Peter) Heintz of Orland Park, Illinois; three grandsons, Michael (Elizabeth) Arnos of Oxford, OH, Matthew (Hannah) Arnos of Stryker, Christopher (Lauren) Arnos of Grand Rapids, MI; one step-grandson, James (Theresa) Heintz of Boulder City, NV; twin great-grandsons, Evan and Brady Arnos; one great-granddaughter, Elsie Arnos; one brother, John (Doris) Arnos of Ridgeville Corners, and one sister - in - law, Margaret Arnos of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther; both parents; and one brother, Elmer Arnos.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dale Kern, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold on Wednesday from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Worship for Shut - Ins, The St. John Lutheran Expansion Fund, or the St. John Lutheran Stained Glass Fund.
Linda J. Walker
(July 31, 1953 - November 6, 2014)
Linda J. Walker, age 61, of Archbold and formerly of Delta passed away Thursday November 6, 2014 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.
Linda was born in Lima, Ohio on July 31, 1953 the daughter of the late Richard and Barbara (Camper) Burtchin. She was a member of St. Martins Lutheran Church in Archbold. On July 13, 1974 she married
Paul D. Walker and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are daughter Bethany and Traci and son Joseph. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Poppy and Kaelyn, her mother Barbara, sister Debra Atchley and brother Michael Burtchin. Preceding her in death besides her husband was her father Richard.
Arrangements are pending at the Grisier Funeral Home in Delta.
Betty L. Clark
(Died September 16, 2012)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Betty Lou Clark of Archbold. She passed away on September 16, 2012 at Fairlawn Haven after spending her final days surrounded by her family.
Betty was born October 15, 1928, in Defiance County Ohio to Russell and Ruth Porter. Betty worked for the Strydel Corporation for three years and Sauders for eighteen years.
Betty was a proud member of the Archbold United Methodist Church. She greatly enjoyed her weekly, Thursday morning Bible Study, and never missed working a church Thrift Sale. Betty also loved going to her Fulton County Senior Luncheons at Archbold Scout Cabin and playing bingo with her friends. Though she told her children she did not win very often. But most of all, Betty loved spending time with her family.
Betty married
George Clark of South Hampton, Massachusetts, on July, 7 1949, they spent forty - five years together and raised a family of seven children.
Betty is survived by her children Robert (Anna) Clark of Newaygo, Michigan, Dale (Karen) Clark of McComb, Carol (Jerry) Israel of Toledo, Dave (Diane) Clark of Toledo, Douglas (Betsy) Clark of Archbold, and Lynette (Jerry) Beach of Cincinnati. Betty’s children blessed her with thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by Virginia Kern, Mary Osborn, Donna Smith, Leon Porter, Grace Baxter, and Ron Porter. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Ruth Porter, her husband George, her daughter Karen Clark Evans, and her brothers Bob and Mel Porter and her sister Erma Klinshirn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Archbold United Methodist Church, with Pastor David David and Pastor Paul Reichert, officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold cemetery. Friends may call at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home.
