SHARON LYNN O'TOOLE, 46, of Indiana Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W. Va.
She was born in Bellaire, Ohio on February 23, 1960, the daughter of the late Gerald D. and Joann M. (Ehni) O'Toole who survives her of Martins Ferry.
She was a member of Church Alive St. Clairsville, Ohio.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by brother, Douglas A. O'Toole, Martins Ferry, Ohio and a niece, Roslyn O'Toole.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lewis and Rev. William O. Webster, Jr. officiating.
Interment followed in Riverview cemetery, Martins Ferry.

JOSEPH H. BARKER, JR., 79, of Hutchinson Drive, St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on Wednesday, January 19, 1927, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Israel) Barker.
Joe was a retired employee of Blaw Knox Foundry of Wheeling. He was a member of the Church of Christ, St. Clairsville, The American Legion, St. Clairsville and the Cave Club of Wheeling. Joe served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul R. Barker; three sisters, Elizabeth J. Barker, Eleanor R. Sandru and Mary K. Henry.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Stilwell Barker; son Joseph H. Barker, III and his wife Beverly of St. Clairsville; daughter, Karen Sue Yocke and her husband, Rick of Huntington, W. Va; granddaughter, Samantha E. Yocke of Huntington, W. Va.; brother, David L. Barker of Wheeling; sister, Hazel N. Sonnenwald and her husband William of Wheeling.
A memorial service was held Friday, May 5, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ, Woodrow and Butler Streets, St. Clairsville, Ohio with minister, Everett Hudson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Church of Christ.
PAUL A. ZAVISLAK, 69, of Crescent Road, St. Clairsville and formerly of Zavislak Drive, Martins Ferry, Ohio died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W. Va.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on Tuesday, November 10, 1936, son of the late Albert and Josephine L. (Evanczyk) Zavislak.
He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, St. Francis Cabrini Council Knights of Columbus # 11159 and a Fourth Degree Member of Commordore Barry Assembly Knights of Columbus # 802 all of Colerain, Ohio. Paul was retired from the U. S. Air Force having served for 23 1/2 years. After retiring from the service he was employed as a school bus driver by the Martins Ferry School System for 16 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Angeline Sabatino.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen M. (Patrone) Zavislak; three daughters, Mary Jo (Michael) Kohlas, West Chester, Ohio; Theresa Dauteuil-Shaw, Laurel, Maryland; Christine Parrott, Camp Lejeune MCB, N. C. ; son, Paul (Nancy) Zavislak, Jr., Hickham AFB, Hawaii; two step-sons, Jack (Cher) McKeever, Jr., Shadyside, Ohio; Mark (Jenni) McKeever, St. Clairsville, Ohio; brother, Raymond (Naomi) Zavislak, Bellevue, Washington; sister, Regina Vermillion, Creedmoor, N.C.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Colerain, Ohio Monday, May 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. with Msgr. David Reasbeck and Msgr. Thomas C. Petronek as the co-celebrants. Entombment followed in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Military Honors weregiven at the cemetery by the Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W.

WILBUR J. KELLER, SR., 90, a resident of Hillandale Estates, Martins Ferry, Ohio died Thursday, June 1st, 2006 at his home.
He was born Dec. 11, 1915, in Martins Ferry, the son of the late Charles and Lucy (Long) Keller.
He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
Wilbur graduated from Martins Ferry High School in 1934, and from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1938. He was a charter member and past president of the Martins Ferry Rotary Club and a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors and the National Funeral Directors Association. With his brother, Vincent H., he owned and operated the Keller Funeral Home and the Keller Brothers' Furniture Store on Hanover St. in Martins Ferry for many years. During World War II, he served with the Merchant Marine Division of the United States Coast Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent H, Clarence F, and Charles G. Keller, and one sister Lana K. Wilson.
Surviving are his wife of 60 yrs., JoEllen Maher Keller, one son, Wilbur J., Jr. (Brenda) Keller of Farmington, three daughters, Bonnie Stewart, Linda Keller and Arleen Keller all of Martins Ferry; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Fr. Thomas Magary the celebrant and Msgr. George Coyne concelebrating.
Private interment took place Tuesday afternoon at Riverview cemetery, Martins Ferry.

HOWARD J. GRAYSON, 93, of North Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Monday, June 5th, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Long Term Care in the company of loving family members.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on April 28, 1913, son of the late Ringland and Anna Marie (Huonker) Grayson.
He was a retired Painting Contractor.
He was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry serving as an Elder of the church..
Howard was an original member of the M. F. Rotary Club with 55 years perfect attendance. A Paul Harris Fellow, he served as secretary for 50 years. Howard was the oldest active volunteer fireman in the state of Ohio, with 70 years service in the M. F. Ladder Co. He served in numerous positions, including Captain, Chaplain and Treasurer.
In addition to his parents Howard was preceded in death by his twin brother, Harry W. Grayson.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret L. (Romal) Grayson; daughter, Margi Roberts, granddaughter, Amy Vavrock and her husband Rudy, all of Martins Ferry; grandson, Michael Roberts and his wife, Gracie of Laredo, Tx.; sister-in-law, June Romal, Aurora, Colo..
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Interment followed in Riverview cemetery, Martins Ferry.
The Deacons of the 1st Presbyterian Church held services Friday at 7 p.m. followed by services by the M. F. Fire Department at 7:30 p.m.

RHEA A. THOMAS, 91, of Union Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on March 2, 1915, daughter of the late Harry and Hannah (Rothermund) Moore.
She was a retired employee of East Ohio Regional Hospital and a lifetime member of Grace Presbyterian Church, both of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Thomas; two brothers, Louis and Harry Moore; three sisters, Grace Thomas, Lenore Noel and Nell Dosey.
She is survived by son, John B. (Geraldine) Thomas, Miami, Florida; daughter, Margaret A. (Edmund) Ball, Salinas, California; daughter, Susan G. Ecklund, Moundsville, WV; son, William L. Thomas, Martins Ferry. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the funeral home Friday, June 23, 2006 at 1 p.m., with Rev. William O. Webster, Jr. officiating.
Interment followed in Riverview cemetery, Martins Ferry.
MARK E. MISKO, 46, of Beaver Dam Road, Scio, Ohio and formerly of Deep Run, Martins Ferry, died unexpectedly at home Wednesday, June 21, 2006.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on January 20, 1960, son of Henry A. and JoAnn (Steitz) Misko of Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was employed as an Engineer at PCC Airfoil, Minerva, Ohio for 16 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry, Ohio. Mark was an avid sportsman in fishing and hunting..
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, David A. (Renee) Misko, Scio, Ohio; Jeffrey A. (Lisa) Misko, Mentor, Ohio; Bradley J. (Kathleen) Misko, Ragersville, Ohio. Mark was a devoted uncle to 13 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 25, 2006 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Bill Lawrence officiating.

TODD E. BROWN, 29, of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Kettering, Ohio on December 10, 1976, son of the late Edward A. and Sandy L. (Walker) Brown who survives him of Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was employed as a salesman at Keith Ballard Auto Dealer, Pittsburgh, Pa.
In addition to his father Todd was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Walker and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Rita Brown.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Timothy C. (Laura) Brown, Lebanon, Ohio; Christopher T. (Tessa) Brown, Crowley, Texas.

MOLLIE L. BRUBAKER, 71, formerly of Vine Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Country Club Retirement Campus IV, Bellaire, Ohio.
She was born in Martins Ferry on April 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Edward B. and Zelda M. (Elifitz) Martin.
Mollie was a retired employee of Wheeling-Jesuit University, Wheeling; a member of the First Christian Church, a former deaconess and Sunday school teacher of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; son, Thomas Edward Brubaker; two brothers, Edward L. and Robert J. Martin, Sr.
She is survived by one brother, Allen B. (Shirley) Martin, Elm Grove, W. Va. ; sister, Burdie C. (Dave) Camden, Compton, Calif.; sister-in-law, Jean Martin, Martins Ferry, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home Saturday, July 8, 2006 with Rod Kasler officiating. Interment followed at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
