Russel Lee Haga, age 40, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday morning (8/17/2002) at his residence. He was born 8/23/1961 at Marietta, Ohio a son of Howard & Anna Mae Cantwell Haga of Dexter City, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by a half brother Randy Haga and grandparents Orville & Ethel Haga and Joe & Bessie Cantwell.

Surviving are his parents; 1 brother Roger (Rose) Haga of Caldwell, Ohio; 2 half brothers Gene (Lela) & Jeff (Bonnie)Haga both of Caldwell, Ohio; 3 half sisters Cheryl (Danny) Swain of Caldwell, Ohio, Brenda (Joe) Harris of Portsmouth, Ohio and Kathy Haga of Zanesville, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews including Dale & Ryan Haga.

Friends may call Monday (8/19/2002) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where srvices will be held on Tuesday (8/20/2002) at 2:00 PM with Rev.William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Lund cemetery in Macksburg, Ohio.

Mildred E. Minyo, age 77, of Caldwell, Ohio died Saturday morning (5/31/2003) at Pleasant City, Ohio. She was born 6/28/1925 at Pleasant City, a daughter of the late August and Mary Petkash Mailot. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and Jednota.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 3 brothers Robert, Andrew and Stephen Mailot.

Surviving are her husband Jerome Minyo, Sr., whom she married 7/16/1949; 1 son Jerome (Janet) Minyo, Jr. of Caldwell, Ohio; 3 daughters Teresa (James) Gombeda of Cambridge, Ohio, Suzanne (Bob) Minyo-Thomas of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Mary Ann (Scott) Collins of Zanesville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren Kimberly Kennedy, Jennifer Minyo, Morgan and Kaitlin Thomas, Kelli, Kyle and Karlie Collins; 3 great-grandsons Micheal, Bryan and Joseph Kennedy; 5 sisters Cecilia (Paul) Kuhar, Agnes Chesar, twin sister Mary Basalla, Irene Mailot all of Pleasant City, Ohio and Albena (Edward) Vahala of Elkhart, Indiana; 1 brother Gene Mailot and a sister-in-law Phyllis Mailot both of Pleasant City, Ohio.

Friends may call Monday (6/2/2003) from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday (6/3/2003) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where Christian Scripture Services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday (6/4/2003) at 10 AM with Fr. Dale Tornes as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Caldwell, Ohio.

She was born 6/1/1932 in Noble County, Ohio a daughter of the late Francis & Minnie Estadt Thompson. She had worked as a Nurse's Aid at the Red Carpet Health Care Center in Cambridge, Ohio and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Cambridge, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 1 daughter Donna Lee Parks Williams and 1 granddaughter Kellie Lee Williams.

She is survived by 4 daughters; Carolyn Sue (Dave)Leach of Belle Valley, Gloria Ann (Sonny) Clewell of Barberton, Shelia Jo Feldner of Byesville, Wanda Kay (John) Farrar of Cambridge, 1 son: Rick Allen (Sue) Cunningham of Pleasant City, 3 sisters; Rita Colbert of West Lafayette, Carol (Don) Bibbie of Vieanna, WVA., Dorla (Andy) Archer of Caldwell, 1 brother; Nelson (Lydia) Thompson of Caldwell, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm where Christian scripture services will be held at 5:15pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1pm at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Dale Tornes officiating. Interment will be in Dudley cemetery.

He had worked as a coal miner and oil driller and was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, Ohio.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Lucy Bernice Thompson Dimmerling; his second wife Marie Morris Dimmerling; 2 sons Junior Dimmerling and infant Norman Dimmerling; and 1 brother Alfred Dimmerling.

Ssurviving are 1 son Dwight F. Dimmerling of Caldwell, Ohio; 4 daughers Rose Mary Tennent of McConnelsville, Ohio, Dolares (Jim) Steed of Sarahsville, Ohio, Phyllis (James) Phillis of Mconnellsville, Ohio and Anna Lee (Jerry) Reed of McConnellsville, Ohio; 1 daughter-in-law Mildred Dimmerling of Caldwell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Surviving are her loving husband Charles Nichols whom she married July 12, 1943; 6 daughters Linda Nichols, Lucy (Wade) Fleming & Joy (Marvin) Feldner of Caldwell, Jane (Tim) Perez of Belle Valley, Christine (Steve) Gray of Zanesville and Char (Keith) Swingle of Washington Court House; 2 brothers John (Margaret and Robert (Shirley) Boney of Sharon; 1 sister Joann (Leonard) VanFossen of Marietta; 16 grandchildren Brad, Jason (Jeannette) & Wesley Feldner, LaDawn (Dustin) Carpenter, Rachel (Doug) Pfeffer, Amy (Robb) Roberts, Jackie, Adam, Samantha & Ian Swingle, John (Amy), Jeanne (Tom Syme) & Jessica Jordan, Tim Perez, Nicholas and Alex Gray; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was born 4/21/1928 in Noble County, Ohio a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mareeda Boney Willey. She was a former employee of the former Westinghouse and Hamilton Beach-Scoville Company Plants in Byesville, was a former cook at the Joyce M. Davis Senior Citizens Center in Caldwell, Ohio and had worked as a poll worker for the Noble County Board of Elections for over 30 years. She was a member of the Keith United Methodist Church at Keithtown, Ohio, the Dexter City American Legion Auxillary and the Laurel Grange. Hope was a proud participant in the fifth grade pen pal program at Shenandoah Elementary School at Sarahsville, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Earl Basil Mitchell whom she married 8/22/1946 and who died 10/8/1997.; 1 granddaughter Stacy Davis; 3 sisters Anna Irene Andersenn, Margel Schmidt and Virginia Belle Willey; 5 brothers Clinton W., Lawrence E. "Pete", William Marilin, Clyde E. and Robert Stanton Willey.

Surviving are 4 daughters Charlene K. (Jack) Davis of Caldwell, Ohio, Diane L. (James) Dick of Mansfield, Ohio, Barbara L. (Chuck) Schott of Tenino, Washington and Lynette A. (Mitch) Finley of Caldwell, Ohio; 2 sons Ronald B. of Keithtown and Donald S. (Sue) Mitchell of Beverly, Ohio; 2 sisters Clela DeLancey and Ethelyn Ogle of Keithtown; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Friends may call Friday (12/6/2002) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where services will be held on Saturday (12/7/2002) at 1 PM with the Revs. Jerry Huntsman and William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Keithtown cemetery in Keithtown, Ohio.

The family requests memorials be made to the Keith United Methodist Church or Hospice of Guernsey.
