Walter D. Fry
Walter D. Fry, age 63, of Butler, Indiana, died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2003, shortly after admittance to DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn.
Mr. Fry was employed by Universal Tool in Butler, Indiana for thirty-four years prior to his retirement.
He was veteran of the Army National Guard based in Angola, Indiana and held a membership with Butler American Legion Post #202.
He also was a member of Butler Eagles Aerie #2733.
Walter D. Fry was born June 12, 1939 in DeKalb County, Indiana, the son of James Leo and Bertha Mae (Garland) Fry.
He married
Nancy M. Ordway on October 22, 1966 in Edgerton, Ohio and she survives.
Mr. Fry is also survived by three daughters, Lisa Fry, of St. Louis, Candace Simmons, in Arizona, Angela Clark, in California, three sons, Dale Eugene Clark, in California, Bradley D. (Deborah) Fry, of Fremont, Indiana, Duane A. (Traci) Fry, of Butler, Indiana, and nine grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Robert Fry, of Butler, Indiana, six sisters, Dorothy Jones, Ann Morris and Berdina Jones, all of Bryan, Ohio, Janet Collingsworth and Margaret Miller, both of Butler, Indiana and Donna Landel, of Edgerton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Services for Walter D. Fry will be Monday, January 20, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio with Pastor Darrol Haggen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Butler cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by the Butler American Legion Post #202.
Visitation will be at the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, January 19.
Services will be conducted by the Butler Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Memorials in the name of Walter D. Fry may be given to the American Cancer Society or to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.
Harold A. Herrington
Harold A. Herrington, age 81, of rural Stryker, Ohio, died at 6:05 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2003, in Community Hospitals of Williams County in Bryan, Ohio after an extended illness.
Mr. Herrington was employed by the Ohio Art Company for nearly twenty years as a press room foreman and retired in 1985.
He was a World War II Army veteran and held memberships in the Stryker American Legion #60 and the Bryan VFW.
He was also a member of the Bryan Masonic Lodge and the Zenobia Shrine in Toledo, Ohio.
Harold A. Herrington was born October 24, 1921 in Bangor, Michigan, the son of Howard and Dessa I. (Harrington) Herrington.
He married
Betty J. Miller on June 6, 1946 in Bryan, Ohio and she survives.
Mr. Herrington is also survived by one daughter, Loretta (Thomas) Cape, of Edgerton, Ohio, three sons, Kenneth (Jeanie) Herrington, of Stryker, Tommy (Jackie) Herrington, of Ney, and Timothy Herrington, of Stryker.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one brother, Lloyd (Phyllis) Herrington, of Bryan, Ohio, and one sister, Rita Jean (Andy) Anderson, of Apache Junction, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one grandchild.
Services for Harold A. Herrington will be Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio with Ted Mathes officiating.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio with graveside military rites conducted by the Stryker American Legion Post #60.
Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, January 3.

Herman Craven
Herman Craven, age 91, of rural Edon, Ohio, died at 11:30 p.m., on Saturday, January 4, 2003, in Northern Lakes Nursing Center in Angola, Indiana after an extended illness.
Mr. Craven was self-employed plumber for many years and also had been employed at K & L Wood Products in Hamilton, Indiana and Miller Concrete in Edon, Ohio.
Herman Craven was born March 31, 1911 in Wagoner, North Carolina, the son of Charlie and Lessie (Cockerham) Craven. He married
Kathryn Wilder on December 23, 1936 in Angola, Indiana and she survives.
Mr. Craven is also survived by one daughter, Shirley (Leon) Smith, of Edon, Ohio, one son, Dean Craven, also of Edon and one sister.
He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters and one grandson, Mark Smith in 1991.
Graveside services for Herman Craven will be conducted by the family on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in Columbia cemetery near Columbia, Ohio.
There will be no visitation. Krill Funeral Service in Edon, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials in the name of Herman Craven may be given to the Columbia Church of Christ.
Steven C. Wicker
Steven C. Wicker, age 43, of Fremont, Indiana, died Friday, April 2, 2004 in Monterrey, Mexico while on vacation.
Mr. Wicker was a self employed truck driver and an avid golfer.
He attended the Fremont Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
Steven Craig Wicker was born July 24, 1960 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Melvin and Oma (Handshoe) Wicker. He married
Peggy Shirely on May 16, 1998 in Butler, Indiana and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Anthonysamy, and Kristen Wicker, both of Fremont, Indiana, one son, Steven Michael Wicker, of Fremont, Indiana, three step-children Daniel and Donald Dennis, of Butler, Indiana, Alyssa Dennis, of Fremont, Indiana, and four grandchildren.
He is also survived by four brothers, Franklin Nester, of Fremont, Indiana, Woodrow Wicker and Babe Wicker, of Houston, Texas, and Cloyd Wicker of Butler, Indiana, two sisters, Judy Stark, of Lima, Ohio, and Teresa Kay Waterman, of Angola, Indiana..
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Melvin Darrell and Bobby Gene Wicker and one sister, Frieda Joyce Wicker.
Services for Steven C. Wicker will be Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.(Ohio Time) in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, Ohio.
Burial will follow in Powers cemetery near Angola, Indiana.
Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, from 4 - 8 p.m. (Ohio Time) on Friday, April 9.

Frieda Mae Weaver
Frieda Mae Weaver, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2004, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, Bryan, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Weaver was a production worker for Allied Moulded Products, Inc. for many years and was a member of the Melbern United Methodist Church.
Frieda Mae Weaver was born on August 9, 1928, in Pettisville, Ohio, the daughter of Harmon and Mary (Mast) Riegsecker.
She married
Norman E. Weaver on November 28, 1953, in Fayette, Ohio, and he preceded her in December of 2000.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by one son, Michael Weaver, of Bryan, Ohio, two granddaughters, Crystal and Heather Weaver, of Bonner Springs, Kansas, one brother, Harold Riegsecker, of Delta, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Weaver, of Bonner Springs, Kansas, and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Weaver, one sister, Mabel Wyse, and one brother, Kenneth Riegsecker.
Memorial services for Frieda Mae Weaver will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Diane Schaffner officiating.
Interment will be in Brown cemetery, Bryan, Ohio.
There will be no visitation.

June L. (Fifer) Gilbert
June L. (Fifer) Gilbert, died peacefully in her sleep on New Year's Day at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, following a brief illness.
She was born on Edon, Ohio, on April 7, 1935, to Lewis and Mildred (Matthews) Fifer.
A lifelong resident of Williams County, she currently made her home just outside of Bryan.
June was an active, hard-working woman who enjoyed various positions with her employer of several years, Williams County.
She also took great pleasure in maintaining her home.
From painting to gardening, and all points in-between, she prided herself on keeping a home that was welcoming to friends and family.
Outside of the workplace, and in absence of any home projects, June relished her roles of mother and grandmother.
Family was always first with June and remained so up to the time of her death.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Laurie (Tom) Meyers of Perrysburg, Ohio, and a son, Scott (Stephanie) Gilbert of Noblesville, Indiana, who love her greatly and will miss her.
Her grandchildren, Allison, Wyatt and Olivia Gilbert of Noblesville, Indiana, and Meghan and Zachary Meyers of Perrysburg, Ohio, also survive her.
Grammy Gilbert liked to spoil the grandkids when she could, and they will miss her presence in their life.
She also leaves to hold dear many special times together sister-in-law, Hazel Fifer, of Edon, Ohio, and special friends, Bob and Linda Dilllworth and family, of Montpelier, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lewis Fifer, Jr.
Funeral services for June L. Gilbert will be held on Monday, January 5, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Daniel Gallagher officiating.
Interment will follow in Edon cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Gilbert will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2004, from 3-7 p.m.
