Donald W. Alexander, 73, of 627 South Street Findlay, died of natural causes Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at his residence.
Donald lived out his last years with the love of his life, Sharon Stevenson.
Born in Delaware, Ohio on Wednesday, April 15, 1931, he was the son of the late Carrol Grant and Margaret Elanore (Trout)Alexander.
He retired from Retail Management at American Discount. He was also employeed by Lawson's Dairy.
He was a member of the American Legion
He served his country in the Korean Conflict as a Corpman 3rd Class in the US Navy, He recieved a National Defense medal, a Good Conduct Medal, a United Nations Medal and the Korean Service Medal. He also recieved a Presidential Citation.
He is survived by Daughter Carol A Koontz; Daughter Cynthia L (Dave) Huff; Step-daughter Paula Sue (Fermin) Garcia; Step-son Larry (Patricia) Stevenson; Step-son Rick (Jeannette) Stevenson; and Brother Richard (Joyce) Alexander. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Marjorie M. Bartels
May 15, 1923 - December 3, 2004
Marjorie M. Bartels, 81, of Findlay, passed away December 3, 2004 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.
Born May 15, 1923 to Elmer and Leah (Basinger) Diller in Pandora, they are deceased. She married
the late Ernest Bartels in Findlay, on October 12, 1946.
She is survived by son Michael (Helena) Bartels, West Chester, OH., half brother Carl (Rosemary) Parsons, Findlay, Eugene Diller, Bucyrus, OH., and 2 grandchildren Michael Oakley, Columbus, and Jonathan Bartels, West Chester, 3 nieces Lynne (Steve) Anast, Fl., Angela (David) Pollack, Fl., Patricia (David) Rhodes, Centerville, OH., great neices and nephews Chad, Vanessa, and Stephanie Anast, Fl., Shea and Lindsey Pollack, Fl., and Megan Rhodes, Centerville.
She was preceded in death by brothers Gerald, Donald and Winford Diller.
Marjorie retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co. after 33 Years of service. She also worked for Farthing Real Estate and Auctioneers, Inc. She was a member of Ameritech (Ohio Bell) Pioneer Club, attended Central Church of Christ, and the Historic Preservation Guild of Hancock County.
Memorials can be made to the Central Church of Christ, 307 E. Hardin St., Findlay.
Margery R. Hough
August 19, 1923 - December 8, 2004
Margery R. Hough, 81, formerly of 806 Bright Road, Findlay, died of natural causes Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Fox Run Manor.
She was the widow of W. Paul Hough. They were married
on January 16, 1942 in Findlay, Ohio.
Born in Findlay on Sunday August 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Robert N. and Hazel (Lydick) Chatelain.
She was the owner of Maggie's Sub Station, as well as, The Happy House Crafts Store. She was a member of the Stonebridge Church of God, Findlay.
She is survived by three children, Jack (Sherry) Hough, Findlay, Jan Marshall, Findlay, and Mike (Kathy) Hough, Forest. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William P. "Bill" Hough,Jr. and Jeffery Hough, one grandchild and two siblings, Robert J. Chatelain and Jane E. Cole.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 4pm at the Stonebridge Church of God with Pastor Mick Gilliam, Officiating.

Margaret R. Robson
July 28, 1926 - December 13, 2004
Margaret R. Robson, 78, loving mother and grandma passed away peacefully in the company of her family. She will be sadly missed by everyone.
Born July 28, 1926 in Mt. Victory, to James and Iris (Wilkerson) Gamble.
She married
the late Dr. Gail W. Robson (Doctor of Veterenary Medicine).
She is survived by daughters Trish (John) Montgomery, Jr. Findlay, Wendy (James) Martin, Kenton, Rose Marie Vance, Marion, and Mary Margaret Gamble, grandchildren Shane (Amanda) Montgomery, Chad (Ashlea) Montgomery both of Texas, Adam Montgomery, John N. III "Trey" Montgomery, Destini Montgomery, Brandon Pinks, Devin Martin, and Seth Martin, all of Ohio, great-grandchildren Alexandria Montgomery, Logan McDonald, and Carter Montgomery, and Grandma to all. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Elizabeth Jane McAdams.
Margaret worked on the family farm growing up in Hardin County. She loved long walks with her grandchildren, loved to tell stories, curl up in bed with them to watch T.V., and listen to them read. She loved to spoil the grandchildren with candy and gifts. She didn't have much, but she had a big heart to give. Margaret was a member of the Church of Christ in Ridgeway, OH, volunteered for Headstart.
Visitation will be at Routson Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 15, from 2-4 and 6-8pm and from 10-11, Thursday, December 16 with the funeral service immediately following, with Pastor Tony Redick, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Findlay. Memorials may be made to the family or to the donor's choice.
Robert F. Smith, Sr.
May 17, 1920 - December 20, 2004
Robert F. Smith, Sr., 84, of Findlay, passed away Monday, December 20, at Fox Run Manor.
Born in Findlay, on Monday, May 17, 1920, he was the son of the late Eber B. and Sara Luzena (Latta) Smith. He was the widower of Marilyn (Engard) Smith.
He worked as a Line Supervisor at Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., Findlay for 6 years. He also worked as a grocer at IGA.
He was a member of the DAV and a Former member of the Moose where he was a doorman for 21 years.
He proudly served his country in World War II in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two sons, Robert F. and Renee Smith, Jr., Findlay, and Richard L. and Sue Smith, Findlay, three daughters Margaret A. and Richard Cole, Findlay, Joann and the late Frank Gunder, Fostoria, Dorothy and Don Schrier, Findlay, and five grandchildren, Richard and Chris Cole, Melissa and Doug Bushong, Dawn and Timothy Franks, Timothy and Kara Smith, and Ricky Smith. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call Monday, December 27 from 6-8 p.m.

Susan Routson
March 28, 1959 - August 22, 2004
Susan is from the Cleveland area. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Ohio State University and attended graduate school at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea. She became a licensed funeral director in 2000 after serving a two-year apprenticeship.
Susan was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was the videographer of the Living Through Loss series, of which her church is a sponsor. She was also a member of the Ohio Funeral Director's Association, the Lupus Foundation of America NW Ohio Chapter, and the Findlay YMCA. She was a speaker for and member of the National Kidney Foundation of Ohio.
Donald M. Yeager
June 25, 1941 - November 29, 2004
Donald M. Yeager, 63, of 5519 County Road 248, Findlay, died peacefully at his residence with his wife by his side.
He is survived by the love of his life, Carol (Papenfus), the girl next door, who he adored for more than 40 years. They were married
at St. Petri's Lutheran Church in Toledo on December 5, 2004. They were planning to renew their love for each other this Sunday on their 40th wedding anniversary.
Born in Toledo, on Wednesday, June 25, 1941, he was the son of the late Merle Yeager and Violet (Wieble) Yeager, who survives him. Also surviving are three children, who admire his strength, courage and humor. Cynthia (Chad) Mock; Thomas (fiancee Stacy Crawford) Yeager; and Christine Yeager. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Kendal and Shannon Moses, and three recent step-grandchildren Jenna, Casey and Madison Mock and brother James (Janet) Yeager. He is also survived by his pet cat companion Buddy.

Naomi Jane Kaufman

Naomi Jane Kaufman, 85, of 338 George St., Findlay died of natural causes Wednesday, December 22, at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.
Born in Findlay on Saturday, September 13, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Cusac) Baldwin. She was the widow Gerald J. Kaufman. They were married
on June 6, 1941 in Genoa, Oh.
She was a homemaker, as well as a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by daughter Susan J. Bowers, Findlay; Sons Charles "Tom" (Sharon) Kaufman, Findlay, and Frank (Valerie) Kaufman, VanBuren; Grandchildren Gregory, Tracy, and Mark Kaufman, Dennis Bowers and Rebecca (Bowers) Bromwell, and Alex and Whitney Kaufman. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren Sonja and Olivia Kaufman. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers Howard, Neil, Nelson, and Glen Baldwin.
She was a member of St. Michael's Church. Friends are invited to call Sunday, December 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Routson Funeral Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 27 at 10AM at St. Michael's Church East, Findlay. Father Mike Hohenbrink, Officiating. Interment at Maple Grove cemetery immediately following service.
