Loving mother of Judith A.(Harold) Sharp, Janice Shytile, Arthur (Patty) Carpenter and step mother of Charles (Kazu) Carpenter, Delois (Bryan) Bell, MD, and the late Freddie Lee Carpenter. Caring grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Edward Lee Brewer, the late Thelma Jewel Murphy, the late Dorothy Jane Robinson and the late Rena Kay Bennett. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mason.
