Memorial services for Capt. Philip J. Miller, 30, of 726 Azure Ave., North Las Vegas, Nev., who died at 1 a.m., Friday, Sept. 4, 1998, in an accident at Nellis Air Force Base, near Las Vegas, will be Thursday in Las Vegas.
Arrangements are being planned by the Engle Fu- neral Home of Bettsville for a visitation. Services will be in St. James Catholic Church, Kansas, Ohio and burial in St. Joseph cemetery, Fremont, at a later date.
Edward J. Boehler
Eddie's Radio/TV Repair owner
Edward J. Boehler, 75, 358 W. Market St., died at 7:05 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, in Autumnwood Care Center.
He was born in Tiffin, Sept. 24, 1922, to Urban and Cecilia (Harter) Boehler. On Aug. 21, 1948, in St. Mary's Church, Tiffin, he married
Pauline Eberly. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Michael, John and Timothy Boehler, all of Tiffin; six daughters, Mrs. James (Dianne) White of Tennessee, Mrs. Brad (Carol) Woodward of Arcadia, Barbara Schindler, Mrs. Stephen (Mary) Roessner, Rosalie Boehler, Te- resa Roessner and Mrs. Scott (Charlotte) Keefe, all of Tiffin; a sister, Cecilia Dauterman of Bowling Green; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Catherine Rose Boehler; a brother, four sisters and a grandchild.
Mr. Boehler, a radio and TV repairman, was the owner of Eddie's Radio and TV Repair. He also had been employed as a tank fitter at the American Standard.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, having served in the European Theater, he was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of its Holy Name Society. He also served as a communion dis- tributor at the church.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rosary recited at 10:15 a.m. The Rev. Richard Dunn and the Rev. Frank A. Murd will be the co-celebrants. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by the United Veterans Council.
Visitation at Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home, is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, where a Wake service will be at 8:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Calvert High SchoolFoundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
Albert H. Baker
Clyde area farmer
Albert H. Baker, 85, of East Maple Street, Clyde, died in Fremont, Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1998.
He was born in Clyde, Oct. 13, 1912, to John E. and Orpha (Butz) Baker. His wife, Doris (Diment) Baker, whom he married
Oct. 12, 1940, survives.
Also surviving are a nephew and a great-nephew.
A sister, Geneva Whitehead; and two brothers, Gladdon and Gordon Baker, are deceased.
Mr. Baker, a farmer, graduated in 1931 from York High School.
A life-long Clyde area resident, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde and Sandusky County Farm Bureau.
The Rev. John Bailey will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Thursday service in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral- Home, Clyde. Interment will be in McPherson Ceme- tery, Clyde.
Visitation at the funeral home is 7-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Adair Bedell Van Nette Jr.
Former Tiffin State Hospital employee
Adair Bedell Van Nette Jr., 80 of 6546 Harbour Blvd., Panama City Beach, Fla., died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, in a local hospital. He had been a resident of the Panama City Beach area since 1991, coming here from Palmetto, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Van Nette of Panama City Beach; three sons, Adair Van Nette III of Panacea, Fla., Terrance Van Nette of Orlando, Fla. and Randall Van Nette of Panama City Beach; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Ms. Carmen Bretz of Columbus and Ms. Joanne Berkel of St. Louis, Mo.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Van Nette had been employed as superintendent of maintenance at the former State Hospital in Tiffin for 25 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Faith.
The Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Panama City Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
Charles L. Sattler
Sattler Chevrolet general manager
Charles L. Sattler, 89, 1033 E. Clinton TR 201, died at 4:55 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in Delaware Court Health Care Center, Delaware County, Ohio, where he had been a resident since October 1996.
He was born Feb. 8, 1909, in Mansfield, to Carl F. and Katherine E. (Koch) Sattler. On May 18, 1935, in Findlay, he married
Bernice Smith. She died Nov. 21, 1996.
Surviving are: three sons, Charles C. "Sam" Sattler of Tiffin, Stephen C. Sattler of Ostrander and Scott L. Sattler, M.D., of Eureka, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha A. Craig of Redmond, Wash.
Two brothers, George P. and Richard M. Sattler, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Sattler, vice president and general manager of the former Sattler Chevrolet Co. in Tiffin, sold the dealership in 1961. He later retired as a salesman from the Tiffin Enterprise.
A graduate of Findlay High School and the Ohio State University, he was a member of many local organizations including the Tiffin Kiwanis Club, which he served as past president, and the First Presbyterian Church of Tiffin.
Memorial services are at 8 p.m. today in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard E. Mahlmann officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Bell Tower Fund of the First Presbyterian Church.
Jennifer A. (Willman) Siesel

Jennifer A. (Willman) Siesel, 28, of 1039 Rousseau Lane, Galloway, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 5, 1998, in an auto accident in Delaware County.
She was born June 8, 1970, in Seneca County, to Eugene R. and Rita A. (Foos) Willman, who survive in Attica. Her husband, Daniel D. Siesel, whom she married
Oct. 21, 1995, also survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Ryan D. Siesel; three sisters, Patricia Newcomer of Powell, Connie and Karen Willman, both of Columbus; and a brother, Gerald Willman of Dublin.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clemens and Geneva Foos; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Anna I. Willman.
Mrs. Siesel, a secretary at Newcomer Concrete in Powell, graduated in 1988 from Seneca East High School and in 1990 as a legal secretary from Columbus State.
An avid walker, she was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Attica, with the Rev. Joseph P. Szybka as celebrant. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Home, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, where a Vigil service will be at 6:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to an educational trust to be setup in Ryan Siesel's name, in care of the funeral home or Sutton Bank, Attica.
Francis P. 'Skippy' Factor
Retired farmer
Francis P. "Skippy" Factor, 94, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at his home in rural Republic, following a sudden illness.
He was born June 8, 1904, in Zanesville, to Charles and Julia (Gerhart) Factor.He had never married
.
Survivors include: a sister, Mrs. Alton (Margaret) Zimmerman of Tiffin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Robert and Louis; and two sisters, Catherine Dean and Lucy Starkey.
Mr. Factor had worked as a dairy and grain farmer for most of his life, retiring in 1976.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the new Republic-Bloomville home of the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with the Rev. Richard Barrell officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jeannette H. Mullholand
Fostoria homemaker
Jeannette H. Mullholand, 68, of West Jones Street, Fostoria, died at 10:42 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Fostoria July 2, 1930, to the late Benjamin and Arminda (Taylor) Wyans. On Feb. 23, 1953, in Fostoria, she married
Robert W. Mullholand. He died Dec. 24, 1987.
Surviving are two sons, William "Bob" Mullholand of Arcadia and Benjamin "Ben" Mullholand of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. James (Cindy) Davis of Wanchese, N.C.; three sisters, Shirley Wyans of Fostoria, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Boyd of Rawson and Mrs. Donald (Joan) Mullholand of Kansas, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A brother, Charles Wyans; and a sister, Betty Watkins, also are deceased.
Mrs. Mullholand, a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentacostal Church of God, Fostoria, was a homemaker.
The Rev. Donald Goodwin will be the officiant at the 10:30 a.m. Thursday service in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, near Arcadia.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Leona E. Bertsch, 71, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, at her home at 137 Charlotte Ave., Bellevue.
Born Feb. 14, 1927, in Marywood, to Charles and Lena (Wurm) Schneider, she married
Walter C. Bertsch, June 15, 1949, at the Sorrowful Mother's Shrine, Marywood. He survives.
Survivors also include: three sons, John Bertsch of Clyde, Eugene Bertsch of Columbus and James Bertsch of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Joan Sweet of Bellevue and Linda Barber of Raleigh, N.C.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and three brothers, Donald, Claude and Edwin Schneider, all of Bellevue.
Mrs. Bertsch, a homemaker, was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, its Altar-Rosary Society and ICC.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Foos and Son Funeral Home, Bellevue, where a Rosary service will be at 3:30 p.m.
A funeral Mass, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue, will be 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Bellevue Catholic cemetery.

Wilfred C. 'Bill' Theis
Retired farmer/carpenter
Wilfred C. "Bill" Theis, 85, of 22 N. Perry St., New Riegel, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria.
He was born in Big Springs Township, Seneca County, June 5, 1913, to William and Mary (Huss) Theis. His wife, Esther M. (Zoeller) Theis, whom he married
Oct. 16, 1943, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Leonard and Dennis Theis, both of New Riegel; a sister, Clara J. Theis of New Riegel; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Staff Sgt. Lawrence W. Theis; and a daughter, Janice R. Theis, are deceased.
Mr. Theis, a retired farmer and carpenter, was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
A 1931 New Riegel High School graduate, he also was a member of Catholic Knights of Ohio, New Riegel Branch 52, the Farm Bureau and New Riegel Moose Lodge 872, of which he was a 50-year member.
A funeral Mass in St. Boniface Catholic Church will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rosary recited at 9:45. The Rev. Leonard Kistler will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, where a Wake service will be at 3, and the Rosary, led by the Catholic Knights of Ohio, recited at 8:45.
Memorials may be made for Masses, St. Boniface Church Renovation Fund or Catholic Knights of Ohio Seminary Fund.
Patricia A. Hager

Patricia A. Hager, 67, 150 Railroad Street, died in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin at 8:58 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998.
She was born in Tiffin, March 17, 1931, to the late Arthur and Bertha (Bolander) Huss. On Sept. 24, 1966, in St. Joseph Church, Tiffin, she married
Jack D. Hager. He died April 12, 1988.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert A. Hager of Tiffin and David A. Hager of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Paul and Thomas Huss, both of Tiffin, and Bernard Huss of Fairview Park; three sisters, Mrs. Gene (Helen) Packham of Carmel, Ind., Mrs. Richard (Rita) Kappus of Toledo and Agnes Roth of Tiffin; and three grandchildren.
Two brothers, John and William, are deceased.
A Calvert High School graduate, Mrs. Hager was a homemaker and had been employed as a waitress at the L & K Restaurant.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.
A memorial Mass will be at a later date in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation also will be at a later date. The Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clorinda I. Stocker

Clorinda I. Stocker, 84, of 8450 N. US 23, Risingsun, formerly of 1224 Sandusky St., Fostoria, died at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
She was born June 22, 1914, in Fostoria, to John L. and Iva G. (Clark) Alley. Her husband, Clifton Stocker, whom she married
Sept. 17, 1933, in Fostoria, died July 5, 1970.
Surviving are: a son, Charles C. Stocker of Huron; two daughters, Charlene James of Risingsun and Shirley A. Childers of Fostoria; three brothers, Ralph and Raymond Alley, both of Fostoria, and Donald Alley of Tiffin; three sisters, Florence George of Montross, Colo., Mrs. Ed (Joyce) Agater of Tiffin and Helen Burns of Toledo; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by seven brothers, Richard, Clark, John, James, William, Robert and Carl Alley; and two sisters, Louise Morman and Patricia Frontz.
Mrs. Stocker, a member of Fostoria Church of the Brethren, had been employed at Bowling Green State University for 12 years as a custodial worker, retiring in 1982.
Private services and burial will be in Beaver Creek cemetery, Grand Rapids, Ohio.
There will be no visitation. The Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
