Pamela R. Miller
Tiffin resident's sister
Pamela R. Miller, 43, of 831 Harmon St., Findlay, died in the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1998.
She was born in Albuquerque, N.M., May 24, 1954, the daughter of Richard C. and Marjorie E. "Peg" Edelman. Her parents survive in Findlay. Her husband, Steven E. "Smoke" Miller, whom she married
Feb. 11, 1978, also survives.
Survivors also include: a son Todd A. Miller; two daughters, Jamie R. and Renee L. Miller, all at home; a step-daughter, Stephanie A. Honecker of New Phildelphia, Ohio; a step-grandson; and two brothers, Richard L. Edelman of Tiffin and Ronald L. Edelman of Dayton.
A former Marathon Oil Co. employee, Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and had been employed as a bus driver for the Findlay City Schools.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Findlay.
The Rev. Jose' Corrall will be the celebrant at the 1 p.m. Saturday, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Catholic Church, East. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, where a Vigil service will be at 8:30 p.m..

Irma L. Mills
Retired Clyde school teacher
Irma L. Mills, 87, formerly of Clyde, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in the Bethesda Care Center, Fremont.
Born Aug. 17, 1910, in Clyde, to Vetta and Louise (Hayden) Wagner, she married
Roy Mills, Feb. 15, 1933. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1969.
Survivors include: a son, Gerald L. Mills of Beaverton, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Joyce) McDaniels of Clyde and Mrs. Richard (Judith) Bosak of Toledo; two step-daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Myrtle) Holmes of Puellup, Wash. andMrs. Robert (Beatrice) Koch of Clyde; a sister, Mrs. Wendell (Mable) Drown of Clyde; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a step-son, Roy "Sonny" Mills Jr., who died in 1980.
A graduate of York High School and a 1928 graduate of Bowling Green State University, Mrs. Mills was employed as a school teacher in the Clyde Schools 1960-75, retiring after 15 years of service.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde and its Senior Philathea Class and the National, State and County Retired Teacher's Associations.
The Rev. John Bailey will conduct the 10 a.m. Friday service in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde. Interment will be in Ellsworth cemetery, rural Clyde.
Visitation at the funeral home is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.

Melissa E. Hill
Clyde homemaker
Melissa E. Hill, 86, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at the home of her grandson, on East Forest Street, Clyde, where she resided.
She was born in Gibsonburg, Jan. 2, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. Gerwin. Her husband, Clarence Donald Hill, died in 1983.
Surviving are a son, Daniel Wendt of Marblehead; a step-son, Marlin Eugene Hill of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Hazel Gulau of Monroeville; and a grandson, John Hill of Clyde, whom she raised and then made her home with.
A graduate of Gibsonburg High School, Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and at one time had been employed at the Erie Proving Grounds.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. today in McPherson cemetery, Clyde.
The Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, is in charge of arrangements.
Vincent I. Schroeder
Father of Tiffin resident
Vincent I. Schroeder, 93, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at his residence in Ottawa.
He was born in Leipsic, July 19, 1904, to Frank and Amelia (Stechschulte) Schroeder. On Sept. 4, 1929, he married
Kathryn Lammers, and she survives.
Other survivors include: seven sons, Vernon Schroeder of Ottoville, the Rev. Dennis Schroeder of Bucyrus, Mark and Vincent Jr. Schroeder, both of Leipsic, Earl Schroeder of Ottawa, Steve Schroeder of Atlanta, Ga. and Louis Schroeder of Chicago, Ill.; four daughters, Mrs. Bob (Marilyn) Ruhe of Leipsic, Mrs. Mike (Evelyn) Milano of Chicago, Pat Kern of Lima and Sister Paulette Schroeder OSF of Tiffin; 40 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Phyllis Rieman; a son, Frank Schroeder; a grandson, Jeff Ruhe; seven brothers, Samuel, Lewis, Henry, Gerhard, Lawrence, Arnold and Joseph Schroeder; and two sisters, Veronica Kaufman and Christina Schmenk.
Mr. Schroeder, a retired farmer and former insurance agent for German Mutual Ins. Co., also was a former Miller City-New Cleveland School board member.
He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa; Ottawa Knights of Columbus; Ottawa Eagles and the Holy Aid at Holy Family Church, New Cleveland.
A funeral Mass in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will be 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Dennis Schroeder as celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at the Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, is 7-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Thursday. Eagles services will be 7:30 p.m. today, Scripture services will be 8 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
Homer R. Failor
Retired machinist
Homer R. Failor, 90, formerly of Riverview Drive, Upper Sandusky, died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, in the Wyandot County Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky, where he resided.
He was born in Eden Township, Wyandot County, March 21, 1908, to Ezra J. and Nora M. (Huffman) Failor. On Dec. 31, 1938, in Upper Sandusky, he married
Martha M. Sell, who survives.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Lloyd Failor of Waverly and Floyd Failor of Napierville, Ill.; and a sister, Evelyn Turk of Heath.
Preceding him in death were three sisters, Miriam Hoock, Clara Williams and Esther Heistand.
Mr. Failor, a 1926 graduate of Nevada High School, retired in 1970 as a machinist from Colby Mfg., Bucyrus. He had previously worked at Daybrook Hydraulic in Upper Sandusky.
A 70-year member of John Stewart United Methodist Church, he also was a member of the Wyandot County Rod and Gun Club, both of Upper Sandusky, and had served in the United States Navy during World War II.
The Rev. John Hoover will be the officiant at the 2 p.m. Thursday service in the Bringman-Clark and Company Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be noon until time of the service Thursday.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
James T. Brickner
Former Tiffin/New Riegel resident
Word has been received of the death of James T. Brickner, 65, formerly of Tiffin and New Riegel, who died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, in the VA Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was born May 17, 1933. Burial was in New Mexico.
Concetta 'Sarah' Berardinelli
Former Carey homemaker
Concetta Anna "Sarah" Berardinelli, 89, formerly of 119 Toledo St., Carey, died in the Wyandot County Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky, at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 1998.
She was born in Picciano, Italy, April 20, 1909, to James and Mary C. (De'Angelo) Troiano. Her husband, Dominic Berardinelli, whom she married
April 21, 1927, in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey, died May 19, 1977.
Surviving are a son, John Berardinelli of Carey; a daughter, Filomena C. Berardinelli of Upper Sandusky; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a brother, Patrick Troiano of Galion; and a sister, Rose Granata of Grove City.
Preceding her in death were a son, Joseph; and three brothers, Frank, Lewis and Anthony.
Mrs. Berardinelli, a homemaker, was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, with the Rev. Peter Damian Massengill as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Carey.
Visitation at the Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey, is 2-9 p.m. today,where a Scripture Service will be at 8 p.m.

Kathy Jo Saltzman

Kathy Jo Saltzman, 44, died at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at her residence at 12765 CR 10, Alvada.
She was born in Findlay, Nov. 18, 1954, to Charles E. and Donna J. (Fox) Gaertner. Her father survives in Lima. On March 23, 1974, she married
Paul L. Saltzman, who survives.
Survivors also include: three sons, Joshua P. Saltzman, serving in the U.S. Army in Korea, James C. and Timothy J. Saltzman, both at home; a daughter, Mrs, Kyle (Tracy L.) Hutchins of Maumee; a sister, Mrs. Stephen W. (Resa L.) Puchta of rural West Independence; and two brothers, the Rev. Dennis C. Gaertner of Knoxville, Tenn. and the Rev. Gary L. Gaertner of Media, Pa.
Mrs. Saltzman, a former member of the Vanlue Athletic Boosters, Music Boosters and the PTO, was employed as a customer service representative for Media One in Findlay.
She was a member of the West Independence United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. She also taught Sunday School for many years for the 2- and 3-year-old class.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the West Independence United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alan H. Sandford officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery, West Independence.
Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today and 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Gail E. Cunningham
Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant
Gail E. Cunningham, 53, of Elmdale Street, Clyde, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, in the Bellevue Hospital.
He was born in Norwalk, March 23, 1945, to Archie R. and Jeannett (Geer) Cunningham Kirkpatrick. His mother survives in Brookpark. His wife, Nancy S. (Thorton) Cunningham, whom he married
May 2, 1967, also survives.
Other survivors include: five children, John Sinclair of Clyde, David Sinclair and Mrs. Aboude (Susan) Sibal, both of Toledo, Della S. Mancuso, also of Clyde and Gale E. Cunningham of Sandusky; nine grandchildren; and a brother, Darrell A. Cunningham of Florida.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Archie Jr., Robert W. and Charles M. Cunningham; and his father.
Mr. Cunningham retired in 1985, as a staff sergeant from the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and two tours in Germany.
He received his education in the Wakeman and Norwalk Schools and was a lifetime member of both the Disabled American Veterans in Fremont and the VFW. He attended Calvary Baptist Church, Clyde.
Mr. Cunningham, also a member of Clyde Eagles, had resided in Clyde since 1985,returning here from Fort Knox, Ky.
The Rev. James Belcher will conduct the 1 p.m. Thursday service in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde. Interment will be in McPherson cemetery, Clyde, where military graveside services will be provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
Visitation at the funeral home is 6-9 p.m. today.

Dale A. Eberly
Allied Building Products salesman
Dale A. Eberly, 48, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, at his residence at 158 Hudson St.
He was born in Port Clinton Oct. 28, 1950, to Alan and Lorna (McRitchie) Eberly. They survive in Catawba Island. His former wife, Nancy Eberly, also survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include: a son, David Eberly of Tiffin; a daughter, Deb Eberly of Kenton; and his paternal grandmother, Bernice Eberly of Port Clinton.
His paternal grandfather, Gus Eberly; and maternal grandparents, Wilburt and Wilma (Rofkar) McRitchie, are deceased.
Mr. Eberly, who graduated in 1968 from Port Clinton High School and in 1972 from Tiffin University, was employed as a salesman for Allied Building Products of Toledo.
He was a member of Eagles Aerie 402, Tiffin, and American Legion Post 113 of Port Clinton and had been confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury.
The Rev. Charles A. Rogers will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Saturday service in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 S. Church Road, Danbury Township. Interment will be in Catawba Island cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of the service at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Dorothy L. Sendelbach, 84, of 403 Sandusky St., Fostoria, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
She was born in Fostoria, June 13, 1914, to William and Emma (Fuhr) Sendelbach.
Survivors include: three sisters, Beatrice Sendelbach, Helen "Annie" Shontz and Phyllis Dawson, all of Fostoria; and two brothers, Gerald "Jake" and Howard "Pat" Sendelbach, both of Fostoria.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Ambrose, Cyril, Clarence and William Sendelbach; and two sisters, Eleanor Kroetz and Mary Sendelbach.
Miss Sendelbach, a homemaker, was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, with burial in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation at the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. A Christian Wake service will be at 8:30.
