Winifred I. Fitzpatrick
Winifred I. "Winnie" Fitzpatrick, 86, of Findlay, died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, in Winebrenner Care Center, Findlay.
She was born March 19, 1916, in Beulah, N.D., to the late John Near and Alma (Sevallius) Stephens. Her husband, Emmanuel M. "Fritz" Fitzpatrick, whom she married
May 15, 1954, died Dec. 23, 1963.
Surviving are two sisters, Verdis Best of Toledo and Joanne Shetterly of Tiffin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Paul and Wilmer Stephens.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was employed as office manager at Hancock Wood Electric Cooperative, North Baltimore, for over 40 years. A graduate of North Baltimore High School, she was a member of the 50 Year Club and North Baltimore Area Historical Society. She also was an avid bowler and card player.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, in the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, with the Rev. Deborah K. Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Findlay.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.

Mary E. Hartschuh
Mary E. Hartschuh, 89, of 338 Benton Rd., Sycamore, Ohio, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, due to an auto accident which occurred on Sunday.
She was born April 23, 1913, to William F. and Almina (Stuckey) Creeger in Seneca County and they are deceased. She married
Herman S. Hartschuh June 11, 1949; and he died March 31, 1991.
Survivors include: Mrs. Tom (Dola) Loose of rural Sycamore, Bette Hartschuh of Findlay, Mr. Tim (Susan) Hartschuh of rural Tiffin, Mr. Rick (Jolynn) Hartschuh of Upper Sandusky; Mr. Brad Hartschuh of rural Tiffin, and Mr. Jed Hartschuh of rural Sycamore; eight grandchildren, Kelly Dentinger, Brett Loose, Kurt Loose, Daniel Hartschuh, Tessa Hartschuh, Jacob Hartschuh, Derek Hartschuh, Courtney Comstock; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Reiss of Fostoria.
Also deceased are: a daughter, Linda Hartschuh who died in 1998; two brothers, Glenn and Robert Creeger; and a sister, Vesta Carrick.
She was a homemaker; attended Sycamore United Church of Christ; and a member of the Women's Guild of the church. She loved her family very much.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore with the Rev. Edgar W. Shelly officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Sycamore United Church of Christ or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Anthony M. Harp Jr.
Anthony M. Harp Jr., 49, of 40 N. Marion St., Bloomville, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born Sept. 20, 1953, to the late Anthony and Peggy (Cross) Harp Sr. He married
Barbara Shaffer Jan. 11, 1977, in Bellevue. She survives.
Also surviving are: stepfather Walt Jarvis of Norwalk; three sons, Jason Harp of Galion, Rick Walters of Bloomville and Tim Walters of Republic; a daughter, Tami Hus of New Port Richey, Fla.; a sister, Nancy Lemmon of Castalia; two brothers, Frank Harp of Collins and John Harp of Lexington; and 13 grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service and no visitation.
The Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Gladys Gay Gillett
Gladys Gay Gillett, 90, formerly of Burkholder Road, Clyde, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, in Elmwood Nursing Home, Green Springs.
She was born Feb. 19, 1912, in Vickery to John and Emma Catherine (Wiley) Churchill. She married
John A. Gillett Nov. 23, 1932; and he died March 11, 1983.
Survivors include: three sons, David of Carmel, Ind., Victor of Fostoria, and Gerald of Onaway, Mich.; a daughter, Carolyn Billings of Clyde; 17 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, with interment in Ellsworth cemetery.
Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Lloyd Martin Weinandy
Lloyd Martin Weinandy, 71, of 5623 S. US 23, Alvada, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at his residence.
He was born March 22, 1931, in Big Springs Twp., Seneca County, to Clarence August and Magdalena Mathilda (Tiell) Weinandy, and they are deceased. He married
Doris Louise Wagner June 20, 1953, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Alvada; and she survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Donald Lloyd and Rick Allen both of Alvada; a daughter, Pamela Painter of Fostoria; seven grandchildren; and three brothers, Ralph P. and Luke E. of Alvada, and Cyril A. of Tiffin.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Alvada, with burial in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Monday at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
Lloyd Martin Weinandy
Lloyd Martin Weinandy, 71, of 5623 S. US 23, Alvada, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at his residence.
He was born March 22, 1931, in Big Springs Township, Seneca County, to the late Clarence August and Magdalena Matilda (Tiell) Weinandy.
He married
Doris Louise Wagner June 20, 1953, in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Alvada. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Donald Lloyd (Tammy) Weinandy and Rick Allen (Jenni) Weinandy, both of Alvada; a daughter, Pamela (Michael) Painter of Fostoria; three brothers, Ralph P. Weinandy and Luke E. Weinandy, both of Alvada, and Cyril A. Weinandy of Tiffin; and seven grandchildren, Derek, Maggie, Dylan, Nicholas, Matthew, Whitney and Amanda.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Hilary F. Weinandy.
Mr. Weinandy attended New Riegel High School. He was manager and owner of the former Alvada Farm Service.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Alvada, Knights of Columbus third degree, Moose Lodge, Fostoria Sportsmen's Club, Eagles Lodge and Elks Lodge.
The funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Kramer officiating.
Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens in Tiffin.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH 44883; (419) 447-3113.
The parish wake service will be 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited at the church at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.

James E. Vaughn
James E. Vaughn, 54, of 23 College St., Bloomville, died Friday evening, Jan. 31, 2003, in the emergency room at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, after an illness of several months.
He was born Aug. 14, 1948, in Tiffin, to Sherman and El Reita (Fox) Vaughn.
He married
Daisy Perry Aug. 24, 1968, in Bloomville. She survives.
Other survivors include: his mother, El Reita Vaughn of Bloomville; four sons, Rodney E. Vaughn of Toledo, Christopher J. Vaughn of Tiffin, Richard J. Vaughn of Bloomville and Bryan Vaughn of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Shelby and Reid Vaughn of Tiffin; two sisters, Phyllis Slosser of Tiffin and Kathy Foreman of Clyde; and a brother, Jeff Vaughn of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Vaughn in 1983.
Mr. Vaughn owned and operated Calendar Barons in Bloomville and Advertising Supply in Akron. He was a member of the Akron Board of Trade, a 1966 graduate of Bloomville High School and a 1971 graduate of Heidelberg College.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at the Tiffin Church of the Nazarene, 777 TR 201, Tiffin, with Pastor Brad Collette officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville.

Georgia Sanders Biats
Georgia Sanders Biats, 82, of Palm Garden Nursing Home in Jacksonville, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Community Hospice of NE Florida.
She was born Dec. 28, 1920, in Ducktown, Tenn., and was raised in the Jr. O.U.A.M. in Tiffin. She married
Stephen Biats. He died in 1990.
Surviving are: two sons, Allan Biats of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles Biats of St. Augustine, Fla.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The body will be cremated and burial will be in Friendship cemetery, Suit, N.C., at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Forest W. 'Frosty' Clagg
Forest W. "Frosty" Clagg, 63, of 117 E. Fremont St., Fostoria, died 1:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at his residence.
He was born March 10, 1939, in Jackson Township, to Rosella E. (Durst) Ferguson. She survives in Fostoria. His father, Leslie Clagg, and step-father, Maurice V. Ferguson, are both deceased.
Also surviving are: two sons, Forest W. Newsome of Inez, Ky., and Anthony Newsome of Wayne; three daughters, Paula Goble of Inez, Ky., Tamara Clagg of Findlay and Michelle Hofacker of Fostoria; 12 grandchildren; four brothers, Dennis L. Ferguson of Ada, Michael Maurice Ferguson of Fostoria, Jack Leroy Clagg of Mt. Carmel, Tenn., and Stephen P. Clagg of Pickerington.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoening Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
James W. Maloney Sr.
James W. Maloney Sr., 72, of North TR 21, Fostoria, died 9:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born April 20, 1930, in Seleinville to Perry and Goldie (Hildreth) Maloney. He married
Mary Spore on June 2, 1999, in Gatlinburg, Tenn. She survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are: two sons, Perry and James Maloney Jr, both of Port Clinton; two daughters, Carol Hathorn of Estilla Springs, Tenn., and Deborah Maloney of Eugene, Ore.; three step-sons, Michael and Keith, both of Colorado, and Randy of California; a step-daughter, Cheryl Piatt of Findlay; a sister, Alice Smiley of Minerva; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Maloney was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during World War II.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be in Patterson cemetery, Patterson.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Richard E. Sherman
Richard E. Sherman, 70, of SR 100, Tiffin, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003.

Robert E. Johnson, 56, of Fostoria, died 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at his residence.

Robert Phillip Wall
Robert Phillip Wall, 69, of Rt. 3, Grayson, Ky., and formerly of CR 79, Forest, died 12:16 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Rushville, Ind., to Ora and Iona Marie (Uslar) Wall. He married
Loretta Wilson on Nov. 24, 1956, in Rushville, Ind. She survives in Grayson, Ky.
Also surviving are: three sons, Robert Junior Wall of Grayson, Ky., Vernon Russell Wall of Fostoria and Kenneth Roy Wall of Forest; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Martin Wall of Camdon, Tenn., and William Wall of Paris, Tenn.; two sisters, Emma Haines of Port Collins, Colo., and Betty Bender of Cincinnati.
Mr. Wall is veteran of the Korean Conflict.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Glove Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Ky. Burial will be in Wilson cemetery in Dry Branch, Ky., with full military rites at the graveside.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. today at the Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey and also 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Ky.
Hillard H. Meadows
Hillard H. Meadows, 84, of 425 S. Main St., Clyde, died 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at Firelands Medical Center in Sandusky.
He was born July 1, 1918, in Williamsburg, Ky., to Nathan A. and Minerva (Jones) Meadows. He married
Patricia Meadows on August 23. She survives in Clyde.
Also surviving are: seven sons, Charles R. and James L., both of Clyde, Carl H. of Republic, and Dale O., Dean A., David H. and Tracy L., all of Clyde; three daughters, Helen S. Webb of Old Fort, Tina L. Price of Clyde and Rhonda K. Meadows of Wilmington, N.C.; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Flonnie Lee of Goshen, Ind.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Engle-Young Funeral Home of Green Springs. Burial will be in McPherson cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Floreen Ann Ernst
Floreen Ann Ernst, 78, of Virginia Beach, Va., (formerly of Wood County), died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at her residence.
She was born in Bairdstown. She married
Henry S. Ernst Jr. He survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Henry S. Ernst III of Gulf Port, Fla.; a daughter, Loralee Ann Woolard of Norfolk, Va.; two grandduaghters; and a great-granddaughter.
A memorial service was conducted noon Jan. 25. Burial was in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, Va.
