Aurania Wahl, 79, of Vixckery, Ohio, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002 at Memorial Hospital in Fremont.
Arrangements are pending at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde.
Lorraine M. Hoyda
Lorraine M. Hoyda, 71, 19 Cherry St., died at 11:06 a.m. Sunday Feb. 3, 2002, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
She was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Washington, DC, to the late Gergor and Marian (Greenwell) Deigelmann. On Dec. 21, 1954, in Washington, DC, she married
Robert E. Hoyda. He died Sept. 18, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher R. and Benjamin C. Hoyda, both of Tiffin, Ohio; six grandchildren; a brother, Karl Deigelmann of Alexandria, LA; and two sisters, Marian Faye Judy of Wetherfield, CT and Kressie Simmons of Annapolis, MD. A daughter, Leslie, is deceased.
A graduate of McKinley High School, Mrs. Hoyda had been employed by the CIA. A resident of Tiffin since 1968, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ladies of the Moose and Green Springs VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday Feb. 7, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Wednesday at Turner-Engle Funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Paul A. Nye
Paul A. Nye, 84, 6111 W. TR 174, Kansas, Ohio, a lifelong resident of Kansas, died at 5 p.m. Sunday Feb. 3, 2002, at his residence.
He was born May 19, 1917, in Kansas, Ohio, to the late John F.and Frances (Schook) Nye. On Dec. 27, 1939, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, he married
Anna Rose Wammes. She survives in Kansas.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Barbara Thaxton of Risingsun, Mrs. Jerry (Joanne) Widmer of Burgoon and Mrs. Carl (Mary) Myers and Mrs. Alvin (Kate) Reinhart, both of Kansas; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, John, Joe and Carl Nye; three sisters, Mary Rose Frisch, Matilda Minich and Theresa Reinhart; and two granddaughters.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Nye retired from Chrysler in Fostoria after 30 years of employment. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Kansas.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Parish cemetery, Millersville, Ohio.
Visitation is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.

Goldie Marie Hinton
Word has been received of the death of Goldie Marie Hinton, 91, of Tempe, Ariz..
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Ariz.
Visitation is 7-8 p.m. today in Green Acres Mortuary, Scottsdale.
Denver L. Sours
Denver "Peewee" L. Sours, 64, of 220 Maple Lane, Lot 117, Green Springs, died at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in St. Francis Health Care Center, Green Springs. He was born in Sycamore May 14, 1937, to the late Thurman and Marietta (Swerlein) Sours.
Survivors include: a son, Robert Herbinson of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Don Sours of Green Springs; six sisters, Garnett Hetrick of Sun City, Fla., Dorothy Bergeman of Port Clinton, Virginia Boucher of Hilliard, Matilda Hetrick of Oak Harbor, Helen Harris of Green Springs and Patricia Hummell of Port Charlotte, Fla.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were four brothers, Robert, Edward, Richard and James Sours.
Mr. Sours, a lifetime resident of Green Springs, worked for Miller Pipeline. He was very active in his community and belonged to several organizations. Memberships included: American Legion, Sons of American Legion, 40 et 8, VFW, Green Springs Fire Department, Fraternal Order of Eagles and also helped with Local Boys Drill Team.
Mr. Sours was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Engle-Young Funeral Home with the Rev. Renae Meggitt officiating. Burial will be in Green Springs cemetery with military graveside service provided by Green Springs VFW and American Legion.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Engle-Young Funeral Home, Green Springs.
At 7 p.m. Wednesday, American Legion and Sons of Legion will conduct a service, followed by 40 et 8 service at 7:30 p.m. and Green Springs Fire Department service at 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion or Green Springs Fire Department.
Charlotte A. Kleinfelter
Charlotte A. Kleinfelter, 83, formerly of 1669 N. Union St., Fostoria, died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee. She was born in Carey Jan. 19, 1919, to the late Peter and Caroline (Moes) Collet. She married
Ralph F. Kleinfelter April 17, 1941, at Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, and he died Nov. 21, 1978.
Survivors include: four sons, Donald Kleinfelter of Bloomville, Roger Kleinfelter of Milford, James Kleinfelter of Orrville and Robert Kleinfelter of Toledo; a daughter, Barbara Myers of Findlay; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Christian wake services will be 7:30 today at Hoening Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. Burial will be in St. Wendelin Parish cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Sandra L. Ogg
Sandra L. Ogg, 54, of Fort Pierce, Fla. and formerly of Tiffin, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Findlay Oct. 15, 1947, to the late Izaak and Margaret (Mangett) Walton Sr. She married
Phillip L. Ogg Sr. in 1969, in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation and he is deceased.
She is survived by: a son, Phillip Ogg Jr. of Lima; two daughters, Leslie Routson and Elizabeth Ogg, both of Lima; a step-son, Scott Ogg of Upper Sandusky; a step-daughter, Dana Thomas of Findlay; a brother, Izaak Walton Jr. of Carey; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Anita) Tunney of Bluffton and Mrs. Will (Christine) Risdon of New Albany; three half-brothers Andy Bakies of Marion, Mike Bakies and Pat Bakies, both of Carey; a half-sister, Mrs. Kevin (Lisa) Bame of Carey; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Waechter officiating. Graveside service will be held at a later date.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Thursday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
Jeffrey A. Yeager
Jeffrey A. Yeager, 36, of Roller St., Tiffin, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002. He was born Oct. 24, 1965, in Sandusky to William D. Yeager and Judith R. (Tuckerman) Heimbaugh.
Other survivors include: a son, Ryan J. Yeager of Tiffin; three sisters, Tina Yeager of Lindsey, Mya Brough and Jennifer Hensley, both of Oak Harbor; three step-brothers, Richard Heimbaugh Jr. of Vickery, William Heimbaugh of Bellevue and Todd Heimbaugh of Clyde; and two step-sisters, Rebecca Kimball of Monroeville and Cinthia Whitaker of Republic.
Services wiil be 1 p.m. Thursday at Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Carpenter officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Clyde.
Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home, Fremont.
Raymond F. Forristell
Raymond F. Forristell, 58, formerly of N. Main St., Fostoria, died at 3:58 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, in Wood County Hospital. He was born in Fostoria May 7, 1943, to Raymond E. and Emily (Culp) Forristell, both of whom are deceased.
He is survived by: two sisters, Mrs. Dallas (Emily Ann) Dauterman of Risingsun and Mrs. Cris (Joan Marie) Hiller of Genoa.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
There will be no public visitation and arrangements are being handled by Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Joseph V. Depinet
Joseph V. Depinet, 63, of South SR 19, Bloomville, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 5, 2002, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, after a sudden illness. He was born in Seneca County March 18, 1938, to Grabiel and Lucinda (Reinhart) Depinet. He married
Helen Niedermier Aug. 29, 1959, in New Washington, and she survives.
Survivors include: three sons, Michael Depinet of Republic, Daniel Depinet of Sycamore and Donald Depinet of Bloomville; two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Janet) Runion of Findlay and Mrs. Alan (Rose) Depinet-Foss of Wexford, Pa.; seven brothers, John Depinet of Galion, Rev. Robert Depinet of the Philippine Islands, Leo Depinet of Perrysburg, Raymond Depinet of Findlay, Gerald and James Depinet of Tiffin; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Montera of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Norman (Geraldine) Lucius of New Washington, Mrs. Jim (Margaret) Karl of Shelby and Mrs. Tom (Viola) Wasserman of Helena; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Carl V. Depinet.
Mr. Depinet was employed at the Country Springs Farmers Co-Op in Attica and Bloomville, as well as Horn's Crop Service in Bloomville. He was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church and a 1956 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School.
Funeral Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephens Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul cemetery, Attica.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 South SR 19, Bloomville. A prayer service will be conducted this evening at 8:45 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Claudia K. Earhart
Claudia K. Earhart, 80, of E. Grant Street, Clyde, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, in Arbors of Clyde.
She was born in Fremont Oct. 24, 1921, to the late Carl and Frances (Burkett) Good. She married
Woodrow Wilson Earhart Sr. March 15, 1946, and he survives.
Other survivors include: six sons, Woodrow W. Earhart Jr. of Fremont, Lawrence Beier Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., Martin R. Earhart of Royersford, Pa., Carl Earhart of Clyde, Leo Beier of Willard and Lionel Earhart of Port Clinton; two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Mary) Dencer and Anna Senior, both of Clyde; two brothers, Joe Good and Eugene Good, both of Fremont; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Schoeder officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.

Imogene N. Potter
Imogene N. Potter, 74, of South Shore, Ky., died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, in Southern Medical Center, Portsmouth. She was born in Republic Sept. 3, 1927, to the late Joseph and Norah (Bollinger) Ringle. She married
Cecil Potter July 15, 1955, and he survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Donald R. Potter of South Shore, Ky.; three daughters, Heather Kelbey of Upper Sandusky, Norah Reed of South Shore, Ky., and Laura Calver of West Portsmouth; a brother, William Ringle of Republic; a sister, Marilyn Lake of Albuquerque, N.M.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at the Roberson Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Neal officiating. Burial will be in Siloam cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the Roberson Funeral Home, South Shore, Ky. Fostoria.
Grace (Stensel) Cullen
Grace Agnes (Stensel) Cullen, 85, 2501 N. CR 11, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 4:05 a.m. Monday Feb. 4, 2002, in the Ruffing Care Center, Bloomville, where she had resided since Dec. 9, 1998.
She was born Dec. 18, 1916, in Kosciusko County, Ind., to the late Otto and Nora Lucinda (Vought) Stensel. On Oct. 5, 1940, she married
James Carlton Cullen Sr., who also is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, James C. Cullen Jr. of Sandusky, Ohio and Richard R. Cullen of Florida; two daughters, Doris Halcomb of Tiffin and Ruth Franz of Trinity, Texas; 15 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Stensel of North Manchester, Ind.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Arthur Cullen; a grandchild Andrew Cullen; four brothers, Paul, Earl, Harmon and George Stensel; and a sister, Hilda Hitzfield.
Mrs. Cullen, an excellent homemaker, also had been employed at the Sandusky Register Newspaper Co., Pick-N-Pay Grocery Chain and as a nurses aide. A graduate of Andrews High School, she was a member of Jehovah's Witness. She had resided in the area for the past 20 years.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Feb. 16, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Fred Akers officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Arrangements are being made by the Turner-Engle Funeral Home.

Clarence T. Grabert
Clarence T. Grabert, 83, formerly of Nevada,, Ohio, died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 5, 2002, at the residence of his son, Sterling Grabert in Tiffin, where he had lived the last few years.
He was born June 10, 1918, in Boyertown, PA, to the late Charles J. and Octavia (East) Grabert.
Survivors include: two sons, Sterling and his wife Lisa Grabert of Tiffin and Doug and his wife Michelle Grabert of West Chester, PA; a daughter, Lynette Grabert; three grandchildren and a sister, Marie Grabert of Cortalene, Idaho.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Kenneth and Jacque Grabert.
Mr. Grabert retired from Wyandot Blacktop in 1990. Before that he worked for Colby's in Bucyrus and the Idaho State Patrol. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served as a lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion of the 127th Infantry-32 Division. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and American Campaign Medal and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown, PA; Sycamore American Legion Post 250 and past member of the AMVETS in Bucyrus,. For hobbies Clarence enjoyed golfing, playing pool and chess and watching all sports. He also was a Nitany Lion fan.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 12, in Fairview cemetery, Boyertown, PA, with Dr. Merlin Conrad officiating.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday Feb. 10 at the Lucas Funeral Home, Nevada, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to Wyandot County Senior Citizens or the donor's choice.
