Edith Fern Windau, 62, of 5363 TH 98, Carey, died at 10:35 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
She was born in Carey to Larry and Edna (Hart) Coldiron July 12, 1938. She married
Norbort Windau on January 24, 1974; and he survives, along with a step-son, William Windau of Scatle, Wash.; a step-daughter, Phillis Bare of Mason; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Jerry Coldiron of Carey; and a sister, Alice Cole of Columbus.
Deceased are her parents; four brothers, Glenn, David, Jim and Gene Coldiron; and a sister, Judith Coldiron.
Mrs. Windau was affiliated with the protestant faith.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Teach Funeral Home, Carey, with the Vicar Todd Hawkins officiating. Intermet will be in Wharton-Richland Union cemetery, Wharton.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Ralford E. Sours
Tiffin resident
Ralford E. Sours, 89, formerly of SR 101, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, in St. Francis Home in Tiffin.
He was born Jan.15,1912, in McCutchenville, to Jacob M. and Eliza (Mongold) Sours. On March 17, 1944, in Delaware, Ohio, he married
Mary Juanita Reed. She preceded him in death on Jan. 11, 1971.
Survivors include: two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Elsie)
Williams and Beulah Sours, both of Tiffin.
Preceding him in death also include: three brothers, Raymond, Merle and Casper Sours; and four sisters, Della Fowler, Etta Freta, Gladys and Pearl Sours.
Mr. Sours served in the Army in the Philippine Islands in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater during WWII.
He retired from Basic, Inc.
Services will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at the Turner-Engle Funeral Home in Tiffin, with the Rev. Scott Hayward officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel cemetery in McCutchenville.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Francis Home or Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Tiffin.
Betty J. Stump
Fostoria High School graduate
Betty J. Stump, 76, of East Eagle Beach, in Pt. Clinton, died at 3:16 a.m., Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Magruder Memorial Hospital in Pt. Clinton.
She was born Nov. 3, 1942 in Fostoria to Herbert F. and Ada N. (Johnston) Lord.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard L. Stump of Huron, and Kenneth C. Stump of Fla.
Preceding her in death include her parents.
Ms. Stump graduated from Fostoria High School and attended college for two years. She retired in 2000 as a sales person at The Fireworks Store in Sandusky, after 18 years of employment. She attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in Pt. Clinton.
Services will take place at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria with the Rev. Branson Hawks officiating. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery in Fostoria.
Visitation is two hours prior to the services, Tuesday, at the funeral home, from 11 a.m-1 p.m.
Memorials may be made to The Pt. Clinton Humane Society.
Roger E. Williams
Upper Sandusky resident
Roger E. Williams, 44, of 415 E. Church St., died at 9:26 p.m., Fri. June 8, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 4, 1956 in Upper Sandusky, to Roger C. and Emma M. (Sewald) Williams and both are deceased.
Survivors include: a brother, Richard Williams of Toledo, two sisters, Mrs. Bud (Sharon) Hawkins of Ada, Ohio, and Mrs. Buck (Jan) Riley of Adrian, Mich., and live-in caretakers, Doug, Linda, Andrew and Autum Bickham.
Mr. Williams had worked for Angeline School and Industries and was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church n Upper Sandusky. Additionally, he enjoyed coloring, playing with his nieces and nephews, boating, camping, dancing, collecting stuffed animals and loved his dog, Shadow.
Services will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Bringman Clark and Co. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating. Burial will be in Old Mission cemetery in Upper Sandusky.
Visitation is 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

John A. 'Punk' Walter
Atlas Crankshaft retiree
John A. "Punk" Walter, 66, of 602 S. Union St., in Fostoria, died at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2001 in Medical College of Ohio.
He was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Fostoria to John and Emma (Siebenaller) Walter, and they are deceased. He married
Carol (Coleman) Snyder and later divorced. He married
Denise (Stahl) Cook, and they divorced. His fiancee, Jean Folk, survives in Fostoria.
Survivors also include, six daughters, Mrs. Mark (Jan) Oberst of Sylvania, Johnna Walter of Cleveland, Mrs. John (Julie) Bodart of Findlay, Jennifer Herod of Fostoria, Michelle Walter of Arcadia, and Mrs. Evan (Heather) Ricker of Bucyrus; four brothers, Bob Walter of Fostoria, Gene and Myron "Butch"Walters, both of Fostoria, and Don Walters of Minnesota; a sister Mrs. Jean (Emma) Beeson of Fostoria; and 11 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death also include: three brothers, Paul, Harold, and Richard "Dick" Walters; and a sister, Esther Belle Walters.
Mr. Walter, a U.S. Army Veteran, was employed at Excello Corp., in Fostoria and later worked at Atlas Crankshaft, and retired in 1990 after 29 years.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria and a 1953 graduate of St. Wendelin High School. Additionally, he was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1197 3rd Degree and Fostoria Eagles Club Aerie 430.
The rosary will recited at 10 a.m., Tuesday followed by services at 10:30 a.m., at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., Monday, at the Hoening Funeral Home in Fostoria, with a Christian Wake service at 8:30 p.m.

Myron L. Hill
Ohio Bell retiree
Myron L. Hill, 78, of 19053 SR 12, of Arcadia, died at 12:05 a.m., Sunday, June 10, 2001, in his residence.
He was born on March 8, 1923, in Findlay, to Myron W. and Lottie Leoma (Yoakum) Hill, and they are deceased. On Dec. 16, 1945, in Tiffin, he married
Dorothy Feasel and she survives.
Survivors include: four sons, Michael Hill of Acworth, Ga., Dennis M. Hill of Findlay, Jon A. and Gregory S. Hill both of Arcadia; four daughters, Mrs. Rick (Melody) Bowman of Arcadia, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy D.) Monteleone, of Bowling Green, Mrs. Tim (Waverly Susan) Blunk of Findlay, and Barbara Carter of Wisc; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Ivan of Tiffin, Melvin of Sycamore, David and Fred, both of Green Springs, and James of Fremont; and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Ruth Ann) Wise of Green Springs.
Mr. Hill retired worked for Ohio Bell as a lineman, telephone installer, PBX installer and PBX supervisor, and retired after 35 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WW II, European Theater, in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a Boy Scout leader in Findlay and Arcadia in 1970's-1980's, was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church, American Legion in Arcadia, and was a active in and past president of Arcadia Athletic Boosters.
Services will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Arcadia United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Ritchey will officiate. Burial will be at Knollcrest Gardens, with military rites conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

Oliver J. Gnepper
Whirlpool Corp. retiree
Oliver J. Gnepper, 80, of Bethany Drive, in Fremont, died Sat. June 9, 2001 at Memorial Hospital in Fremont.
He was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Oak Harbor, to Rollie and Elizabeth (Gahn) Gnepper. On March 11, 1944 at Trinity Church in Lindsey, he married
Phyllis Buehler, and she survives.
Survivors also include: a son, Roy Gnepper of Williston; a daughter, Donna Fought of Fremont; a brother, Wayne Gnepper of New Riegel; a sister, Leola Damschroder of Gibsonburg; and four grandchildren.
Preceding him in death include his parents and a son, John Gnepper.
Mr. Gnepper was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fremont, and graduated in 1938 from Oak Harbor High School. He was a farmer and assembler at Whirlpool Corp., until his retirement in 1985.
Services will take place at 1p.m., Tuesday, at Nopper-Karlovetz Mortuary, 900 N. St., in Fremont. Burial will be in Union cemetery in Oak Harbor.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Estella Marie Wise

Estella Marie Wise, 85, of S. Pennsylvania, and formerly of Clyde and Attica, died Sunday morning, June 10, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Fremont, following a sudden illness.
She was born Nov. 21, 1915, in Huron County, to Linus and Ottilia (Miller) Diehm. On April 15, 1941 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Bismarck, she married
Peter Wise. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Wise of Independence, Ohio and John A. Wise of Clyde; two daughters, Mary Ann Will of Fremont and Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Chilcoat of Wilmington, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Didion of Monroeville and Dolores Meyer of Bellevue.
Preceding her in death also include: her parents, and two brothers, Herman and Leon Diehm.
Mrs. Wise was a homemaker and was employed by New Departure in Sandusky for 24 years and retired. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clyde.
Prayer services will take place at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, followed by A Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clyde, with Fr. Jeff Nordhaus officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Foos-Klein Funeral Home in Clyde.
Anna E. McClenathan
Retired Dairy Farmer
Anna E. McClenathan, 86, of 4698 N. TR 190, in Republic, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 21, 1915, in Thompson Twp., Seneca County, to Jerome and Lena May (Balduf) Gotschall. On Oct. 23, 1936, in Adams Twp., Seneca County, she married
Floyd B. McClenathan and he survives.
Survivors also include: two sons, Floyd K. McClenathan Sr. and Charles B. McClenathan Sr., both of Clyde; two daughters, Mrs. Mary C. Halbisen of Fremont and Shirley Akers of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death are: a grandson, Douglas L. Halbisen; two brothers, and four sisters.
Mrs. McClenathan and her husband were dairy farmers for many years and retired in 1988.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home in Bloomville, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be in Fireside cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Daryl Thomas Storer
Clyde Business Founder
Daryl Thomas Storer 68, of W. Forest St. in Clyde, died Sunday, June 10, 2001 in Providence Hospital in Sandusky.
He was born July 5, 1932, in Green Springs, to Howard N. and Marie M. (Miller) Storer, and both preceded him in death. On Oct. 24, 1953, he married
Patricia Ann Benkey and she died Feb. 6, 1986. On June 20, 1987, he married
Patricia Jean Leonard and she survives in Clyde.
Survivors include: five sons, Gregory T. Storer of Twinsburg, Timothy A. Storer of Findlay, Bradley T. Storer of Huron, Jeffrey H. Storer of Fremont, and Andrew Storer of Delta; two daughters, Mrs. Tom Shook of Maumee, and Mrs. Tom Polk of Fremont; a brother, Timothy Storer of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death also include: a sister, Gweneth Eshelman and two grandsons.
Mr. Storer served in the Korean Conflict with the 135th Field Artillery Battalion of the 37th Infantry Division of the Ohio National Guard. He was a barber in Clyde for over 30 years; founder of Coachlite Realty, was a broker for 45 years; and co-founded with his late sister the Eshelman Nursing Home, currently Arbors of Clyde. He attended Clyde Schools and graduated in 1950 from Elyria High School.
As a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clyde, he had served as altar boy; was a member of the parish council, president of the church school board, founded Tuesday night bingo, and worked with the church athletic association.
Mr. Storer served as chairman of the CUP Fund, past president of Clyde Community Council, co-chair of Clyde Sesquicentennial Celebration, the first secretary of the Clyde Business and Professional Assoc., past president of both Clyde Planning Commission and Clyde Kiwanis.
Services will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clyde. The Rev. Jeffrey Nordhaus will be the officiant. Military graveside services will be provided by the Clyde VFW and Clyde American Legion at the church cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, with Christian Wake Services at 8:45 p.m., and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde.
