Yvette R. El
Sister of Tiffin resident
Yvette R. El, 43, of 804 Beverly Drive, Bucyrus, formerly of Fremont and Toledo, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, in Doctor's North Hospital, Columbus.
She was born June 26, 1957, in Fremont, to the late George A. and Carol E. (Conley) Walker. Her husband, Herbert El, whom she married
in Toledo, died in 1989.
Surviving are a brother, George A. Walker of Bucyrus; and two sisters, Yvonne Walker of Bucyrus and Karla Cook of Tiffin.
Mrs. El, a homemaker, was a member of Ebenezer Church and the Eastern Star, both of Fremont.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Faith Chapel A.M.E. Church, Fostoria, with the Rev. Archie White officiating.
There will be no visitation.

Beverly Ann Baldwin
Tiffin native
Beverly Ann Baldwin, 70, of Hamler, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, in the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
She was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Tiffin, to the late Joseph L. and Marguerite M. (Sheely) Baldwin. She had never married
.
A brother, Richard Baldwin of Defiance, survives.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Baldwin Jr.
Miss Baldwin was affiliated with the Holgate United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Rodenbarger Funeral Home, Deshler, with the Rev. Debra Berry officiating. Interment will be in Marion Township cemetery, Hamler.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church or the Living Memorial Bible Program of Gideons International.
Laura Leid
Rural Bellevue homemaker
Laura Leid, 81, of 6715 CR 191, Bellevue, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, in Cleveland.
She was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Bellevue, to Charles and Marie (Morgan) Murphy. On Sept. 9, 1946, in Bellevue, she married
James L. Leid Jr., who preceded her in death in 1998.
Surviving are a son, Jeff Leid of Midwest City, Okla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Miller and Mrs. Vincent (Pat) Wise, both of Bellevue; a niece, Mrs. Leo (Arlene) Missler of Bellevue, whom she made her home; and nieces and nephews in the area.
Also preceding her in death were a son, James L. Leid II on Jan. 22, 2001; and a brother and four sisters.
Mrs. Leid, a homemaker, was a 1937 graduate of Bellevue High School.
A member of the Central Jersey Women's Bowling Association, Women's International Bowling Congress and the Central Jersey Bowling Hall of Fame, she attended the First Baptist Church of Bellevue.
The service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday in the Foos and Son Funeral Home, Bellevue. Interment will be in Bellevue cemetery.
Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Willis R. Williamson
Whirlpool Corp. retiree
Willis R. Williamson, 88, of Clyde, formerly of Green Springs, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, in Memorial Hospital, Fremont.
He was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Sandusky County, to Milan and Mary (Shively) WIlliamson. On April 10, 1933, he married
Nina Green. She died May 9, 1987..
Survivors include: four grandchildren, Mrs. Ray (Carol) Drown of Fremont, James W. Tyree Jr. of Clyde, Michael Tyree and Mrs. Buck (Lisa) Bowers of Green Springs; his caregiver, Nancy Clapp of Clyde; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters and brothers, Beryl and Dale Williamson and Doris Fausey, all of Fremont and Norma Williamson of Oak Harbor.
Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Marian Tyree; two brothers, Norman and Warren Williamson; and three sisters, Velva Sibold, Anna Myers and Mary Jane Williamson.
An avid collector of clocks and watches, Mr. Williamson also did repairs on antique clocks. He retired in 1974 from Whirlpool Corp.
He attended Grace Community Church and was a member of its Ambassors Sunday School Class; the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and the American Motorcycle Association.
The service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde. Interment will be in Four Mile House cemetery.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Jenna Lynn Frey
Infant daughter
Jenna Lynn Frey, 1 1/2-day-old daughter of Todd D. and Stacy L. (Hildebrand) Frey of CR 47, Upper Sandusky, died at 1:17 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, in Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky, where she was born at 8:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2001.
Survivors include her parents; maternal grandparents, Don and Jeannie Yeater of Upper Sandusky; maternal great-grandparents, Faye Farmer of Paris, Ohio, and Paul and Gladys Yeater of Upper Sandusky; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Linda Frey of Kirby and paternal great-grandmother, Treva Packer, also of Kirby.
Jenna Lynn was baptized in the Catholic faith.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St .Mary's cemetery, Kirby, with the Rev. James Holmer and Sister Barbara Jean Miller, as co-officiants.
Memorials may be made to Wyandot Memorial Hospital OB Department, in care of the Bringman Clark and Company Funeral Home, P.O. Box 246, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351, which is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth Stombaugh
Rural Republic resident
Ruth Stombaugh, 63, of 6185 SR 18, Republic, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 6, 2001, in the emergency room of Mercy Hospital, Tiffin. She was born May 7, 1937, in Green Springs to George V. and Ramona M. (Swander) Craig. On Feb. 20, 1960, she married
Richard L. Stombaugh. He died July 20, 1984.
Survivors include: a son, Ricky Stombaugh of Republic; seven daughters, Judy Golf of Bowling Green, Rose Marie Branum of Oak Harbor, Edwina Howard of Salisburg, N.C., Tina Ickes of Tiffin, Betsy Fenderson of Tiffin, Theresa Varney of Garden City, N.Y., and Becky Stombaugh of Republic; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Craig of Bowling Green; two sisters, Edna Fleagle of Findlay and Elsie Garner of Oak Harbor; and her companion, Tom Howard of Republic.
Also deceased are two brothers, Benjamin and Theodore Craig.
Services will be at noon Saturday at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with the Rev. Gary Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
Joyce E. Barger
A.O. Smith Corp. employee
Joyce E. Barger, 53, of Carey, died in her home at 9:02 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001. She was born June 20, 1947, to Floyd and Evelyn (Stone) Garey. Her mother survives. She married
Jack Smith and later divorced. On Nov. 20, 1991 she married
Danny J. Barger, and he survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Tiauana Walter of Carey; a son, Roger Smith of Upper Sandusky; and three stepchildren, Danny Joe Barger of Jackson, Kristina Jumper of Findlay and Robert Barger of Vanlue; a brother, Edward Garey of McComb; three sisters, Marlene McDaniels of Findlay, Joan Wilburn of Bluffton and Mrs. Louise Gorman of Kenton; and 11 grandchildren.
Mrs. Barger was a graduate of Mt. Blanchard High School. She worked as a laborer for 30 years at A.O. Smith Corp. in Upper Sandusky and was a member of the IBEW Local 1643.
The Rev. Cathy Wirth will officiate the 11 a.m. Monday service at the Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. Burial will be at Spring Grove cemetery.
Visitation hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County c/o the funeral home.
Adrian B. Ordway
Auto accident victim
Adrian B. Ordway, 48, of 2670 CR 27, Bellevue, died on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital from an auto accident. He was born June 10, 1952, to W. Haydon and Angelina (Angresingo) Ordway, both deceased. On Aug. 21, 1986, he married
Kathleen Weber Ordway. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Adams and Tyler Ordway, and a daughter, Angelina Ordway, all at home; two brothers, Willard and Kenneth Ordway of California; two sisters, Loraine Quibodwaux and Carol Ordway Deck, both of California.
Mr. Ordway received his education from Elyria Schools. He worked for EPIC Technologies Inc. of Norway, Ohio, as an electronics maintenance technician. He was a member of the Reed Assumption Catholic Church, where he was the lead guitar in the band, Kings Chamber.
The Rev. John Nagele will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Monday service at the Reed Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be at Reed Assumption cemetery.
Visitation hours will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Auxter Funeral Home with Rosary at 3:30 p.m.
Memorials maybe made to his children: Citizens Bank, West Perkins, Sandusky.

Mary M. Zellner, 90, formerly of Bloomville, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home at 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville.
Doris R. Creeger
General Electric retiree
Doris R. Creeger, 89, formerly of 159 Gibson Court, died at 9:28 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in St. Francis Home, where she was a resident.
She was born June 20, 1911, in Seneca County, to Alex and Rosa (Clouse) Popenberg. On Dec. 30, 1940, in St. Joseph Church, Tiffin, she married
James F. Creeger. He died July 17, 1980.
Survivors include: two sons, David J. Creeger of Grapevine, Texas and James N. Creeger of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Arlene Thiel of Cleveland; four grandchildren; and a sister-in-law.
A brother, Vincent Popenberg is deceased.
Mrs. Creeger retired as a machine operator from the General Electric, after 21 years of employment.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society.
A funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. James K. Say as celebrant. The rosary will be recited at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the church.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. today in the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or St. Francis Home.
Rita M. Hanson
Ford Motor Co. retiree
Rita M. Hanson, 75, of Fostoria died at 12:52 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, in the Fremont Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hanson was born June 26, 1925, in Alvada to Roman J. and Loretta C. (Welter) Hoffbauer. On June 29, 1946, she married
William P. Hanson at St. Wendelin Catholic Church and he died Oct. 24, 1999. Also deceased is a sister, Esther S. Stein.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald P. and Ronald P. both of Fostoria; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Arles Hoffbauer of Boise, Idaho; and three sisters, Pauline E. Kuhn and Lucille A. Huth both of Fostoria and Virginia Carpenter of California.
She retired in 1975 from Ford Motor Co. (now Honeywell) in Fostoria where she was an assembler. She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and Eagles Club #430, Fostoria.
The Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Wendelin Catholic Church followed by a funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christian Wake Service will be at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the American Heart Association.
Pauline L. Senn

Pauline L. Senn, 73, of 241 Rock St., Fostoria, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in Fostoria to Louis and Anna (Hugg) Erbland. She married
Paul James Senn on April 28, 1956, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Danbury; and he died April 4, 1989.
Survivors include: a son, Scott of Fostoria; two daughters, Sandra Enright of Findlay and Susan Senn Coleman of Fostoria; three grandchildren; and a sister, Anne Mary Saldusky of Fostoria.
Two sisters, Helen Lowery and Rose Marie Bronson, are deceased.
Mrs. Senn was a 1945 graduate of St. Wendelin High School and attended St. Wendelin Catholic Church.
Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church followed by the the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christian Wake service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Frances L. Schalk

Frances L. Schalk, 80, of 12906 W. CR 10, Alvada, died at 8 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1920, at Alvada to Frank and Florence (Schubert) Robinette. She married
Edmund J. Schalk on March 27, 1940; and he died Oct. 11, 1989.
Survivors include: a son, Leonard Schalk of Alvada; a daughter, Darla Ann Schalk of Findlay; and a brother, Richard Robinette of Findlay.
She was a homemaker; a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Alvada, Eagles #2184 of Upper Sandusky, Moose #1567 of Fostoria, and the Rosary Altar Society of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Father Leonard Kistler officiating. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Beach Funeral Home, Carey, where a Christian Wake Service will be conducted at 8 p.m.
