Ruthella Schrenk
Upper Sandusky homemaker
Ruthella Schrenk, 88, of 403 W. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky, died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2000, in the Wyandot County Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky.
She was born July 12, 1911, in Wyandot County, to William and Eva (Roseberry) Dickey. On Feb. 3, 1932, she married
Foster "Snap" Schrenk. He is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Kaye Schrenk; and her caregivers, Dave and Tami.
A brother, Donald Dickey, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Schrenk was a homemaker.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at a later date.
The Bringman-Clark and Company Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, is in charge of arrangements.
Robert J. Bishop Sr.
Retired truck driver
Robert J. Bishop Sr., 77, of 213 W. Perry St., Green Springs, died Monday, July 10, 2000, in St. Francis Health Care Centre, Green Springs.
He was born March 21, 1923, in Tiffin, to Fred and Mable (Raymont) Bishop. His wife, Alice Alberta (Wood) Bishop, whom he married
Nov. 26, 1947, in Iowa, died May 17, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. Bishop Jr. of Clyde; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Linda) Benfer of Sycamore and Mrs. Vincent L. (Dorothy) Camarata of Fremont; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin Bishop of Marion and Donald Bishop of Tiffin; and a sister, Ruth Ann Drukenmiller of Fremont.
Mr. Bishop, who enjoyed fishing and woodworking, retired in 1978 as a truck driver from the former J.W. Humbert Trucking.
He was a 30-year member of the following: Green Springs Lions Club, VFW Dads of Foreign Service Veterans and Dads Post Sons of the American Legion.
He also was a member of Green Springs United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Howard Huston will be the officiant at the 10 a.m. Thursday service in the Foos-Klein Funeral Home, Clyde. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Green Springs Lions Club or the Green Springs VFW Dads of Foreign Service Veterans.
Sister Jeanne Marie Rowan
Former Calvert teacher
Sister Jeanne Marie Rowan, OSU, 78, the former Mary Margaret Rowan, a member of the Ursuline Convent for 58 years, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, in the Ursuline Center, Toledo.
Surviving are a twin sister, Mrs. Paul (Jeanne) Bernard of Tiffin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael and Mary Ellen Rowan and a brother, John Rowan.
Sister Jeanne Marie Rowan (Mary Margaret) entered the Ursuline Community from St. Agnes Parish, Toledo, on Oct. 21, 1942. A St. Ursula Academy graduate, she received her bachelor of arts and bachelor of music degrees from the former Mary Manse College. She did further study at Eastman School of Music at DePaul University in New York and Northwestern University.
Sister Jeanne Marie taught instrumental music at the following schools: Toledo St. Agnes, St. Thomas Aquinas, Rosary Cathedral, St. Angela Hall, St. Ursula Academy, Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio; Perrysburg St. Rose and Lima St. Gerard.
As director of the marching band at Calvert High School for 12 years, she was one of only five sisters in the United States teaching a marching band.
From 1974-84 Sister Jeanne Marie was director of music and of the marching band at St. Francis de Sales High School and in the early 1970s she served as director of the Ursuline Sisters' Camp Ladyglen in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Most recently she taught music lessons at Swanton St. Richard, Assumption Holy Trinity,Toledo St. Agnes and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Schools.
She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a volunteer usher at the Toledo Museum of Art for symphony concerts.
A funeral liturgy will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Church, Harvest Lane, Toledo. Burial will follow in Resurrection cemetery.
Visitation is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today and 1-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Ursuline Center, 4035 Indian Road, Toledo, where a vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Ursuline Convent, the Sacred Heart Retirement Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.

Gabriella Shumway
Infant daughter
Gabriella Shumway, infant daughter of Kevin E. and Janet S. (Clarke) Shumway, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
Survived by: a brother, Nathan Shumway; a sister, Elane Shumway, both of Pickerington, Ohio; grandparents: Stanley and Betty Shumway of Tiffin, and Paul and Evelyn Clarke of Glen dale, W.V.; and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen (Benner) Shumway.
Friends may visit from 1-2 p.m., Saturday at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home and Crematory, 550 Hill Road, North (State Route 256), Pickerington, where a memorial funeral service will be held with The Deacon David J. Kruse, officiating.

Marguerite E. Feasel
Former General Electric employee
Marguerite E. Feasel, 76 of Tuscon, Az, formerly of Bascom, died in her home, on Friday, July 7, 2000. She was born Dec. 1, 1923 to Glen B. and Lillie (Flack) Taylor in Bascom, Ohio. On March 4, 1940 she married
Raymond Shuck in Tiffin, he died Feb. 23, 1963. She then married
Howard Feasel in Tiffin, he died Feb. 11, 1985 in Tuscon.
Surviving include: a son, Howard Feasel of Sycamore; a brother, Charles J. Taylor of Tiffin; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Morris of Tuscon, Az.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three nieces; and two nephews; great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Feasel.
The Funeral Service was held Tuesday at Everygreen Mortuary in Tuscon, Arizona.
Jackie Lee Goodale
Former Fostoria resident
Jackie Lee Goodale, 58, of Traverse City, Mi., formerly of Fostoria, died Monday, July 10, 2000 at Munson Medical Center. He was born Oct. 17, 1941 to Blaine and Alva Mary (Coleman) Goodale, both are deceased.
Surviving include: two daughters, Dulcy and Chelsea Goodale, both of Traverse City; three brothers, Bernard Goodale of Findlay, Roger Goodale of Terre Haute, Ind., and James Goodale of Fort Seneca; six sisters, Virginia Hart of Fostoria, Bernita Gerwin of Madrid Spain, Gloria Wagner, Connie Kiser and Shirley Bulkowski, all of Fostoria, and Beverly Peticas of Fremont; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, and a great-great-great niece.
He was preceded in death by: two sisters, Eleanor Sheridan, and Bessie Gee; and a brother, Richard Goodale.
Mr. Goodale was a retired salesman living in Traverse City since he was 23. he enjoyed gardening and loved his dog Vinnie.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2-6 p.m., Saturday at the Goodale family home at 318 Wadsworth, Traverse City.
Arrangements are by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

Ethan Michael Chester, born Thursday, July 14, 2000, to Michael Allen and Amy Jo (Danner) Chester of 363 CH 37, Sycamore, died at 2:20 p.m. July 14, in the Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents, Larry and Judy Danner of rural Sycamore; maternal great-grandparents, Weldin and Arlene Neff of Tiffin, Mrs. Patricia LeMaster of rural Sycamore; paternal grandparents, David and Mary Beth Chester of Sycamore; paternal great-grandparents, Mrs. Kathryn Chester of Sycamore, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stevens of rural Sycamore.
Graveside services is today at 4 p.m. at Benton cemetery in Crawford County with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating. There will be no visitation.

C. Fernando Castro, 23, of East Center Street, Fostoria, died Sunday morning, July 9, 2000, in Wood County following an automobile accident.
He was born Feb. 19, 1977, in Oaxaca, Mexico, to Juliana and Donaciano Castro Lasaro.
Four brothers, Alfredo, Alfonso, Luis and Sergio all of Mexico survive.
He was employed by Reino Linen Service, Gibsonburg.
Memorial mass will be Sunday, 7 p.m. in San Miguel Church in Gibsonburg.

Patricia J. Bolin

Patricia J. Bolin, 69, of 18830 SR 12, Arcadia, died at 5:41 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2000, at her residence.
Mrs. Bolin was born April 20, 1931, in McCutchenville, to A.J. and Marguerite (Hart) Campbell who are both deceased. She married
James P. Bolin on Nov. 26, 1949, in Hancock County and he survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, Michael P. and Timothy J. of Findlay; a daughter, Susan Dewald of Findlay; two grandchildren; a brother, Lewis Campbell of Tiffin; and a sister, Delores Campbell Wink of Worthington.
She was a 1949 graduate of Arcadia High School; treasurer of Hancock County Board of Education and retired in 1992; and was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Arcadia.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on SR 12, Arcadia, with burial in Knollcrest Gardens, near Arcadia.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday at Routson Funeral Chapel, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, and one hour before the funeral service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 425 Frazer St., Findlay.

Leora Fisher, 75, of 192 St. Francis Ave. and also of Arcadia, Fla., died at 4 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, in the St. Francis Home.
Funeral mass will be Monday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the time to be announced.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
Further arrangements are pending at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
Darlene E. Shumaker

Darlene E. Shumaker, 59, of 4322 SR 67, Sycamore, died at 2:55 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, in the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
She was born Oct. 19, 1940, in Lucas County, to the late Ralph and Mayme (Bartlett) Bordner. On Aug. 13, 1977, in Findlay, she married
Gary L.Shumaker, who survives.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Doug (Barb) DeTray of Tiffin, Mrs. Terry (Brenda) Shuff of Sycamore and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Feasel of Fostoria; two sons, Donald Romig of Tiffin and David Romig of Upper Sandusky; three brothers and a sister; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Bonnie Romig, and four brothers also are deceased.
Mrs. Shumaker, the co-owner/operator of Tropical Haven in Tiffin, also worked as a bartender and bar manager at Gaietto Tavern in Sycamore and as a nurse's aide. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
The Rev. Kelly Brown will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Tuesday service in the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care.
Leora Fisher
Former Lasalle's employee
Leora Fisher, 75, 192 St. Francis Ave., also of Arcadia, Fla., died at 4 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, in St. Francis Home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1924, in Kenova, W.Va., to Benjamin K. and Della Ann (Thacker) Bryant. Her husband, Paul C. Fisher, whom she married
June 4, 1947, in St. Ann Catholic Church, Toledo, survives.
Survivors also include: a son, Michael Fisher of Columbus; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Ann) Hurray of East China, Mich., Mrs. Dave (Pat) Vaughn of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jane Fisher of St. Petersburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many special nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Frances Hetrick, Irene Hensley and B. Ruth Coe.
A graduate of Credo-Kenova, West Virginia High School, Mrs. Fisher had worked at Lasalle's Department Store in Tiffin for about 10 years. She also worked at the City of Tiffin Income Tax Office for about three years.
A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin, she was a 15-year member of the Sunday Night Bridge Club.
The Rev. James Say and the Rev. Richard Dunn will be con-celebrants at the 11 a.m. Monday funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited at the church 15 minutes prior to the Mass Monday. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be at 3:30 p.m.
