Barbara A. Biddle, 65, of West Center Street, Fostoria, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born June 1, 1935, in Sycamore, to the late Claude and Florence (Roberts;) Wagner. She first married
Gerald Corey, and they were divorced. She later married
Gary Biddle, and they also were divorced.
Survivors include: two sons, Gregg G. Biddle of Fostoria and Douglas Corey of Lakewood; a brother, Roger Hottenstein of Fostoria; and three grandchildren.
A homemaker, Mrs. Biddle was a 1953 graduate of Fostoria High School. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Fostoria.
The Rev. Jeffrey L. Waite will conduct the 10:30 a.m. Friday service in the High Street United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.

Agnes Rose Channels
Retired sales rep/cook
Agnes Rose Channels, 96, formerly of 434 Hedges St., died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in St. Francis Home of Tiffin.
She was born Sept. 27, 1903, in New Riegel, to Frank and Mary (Nye) Yost. Her husband, Dale Channels, whom she married
Sept. 5, 1925, in Tiffin, died July 23, 1963.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Hanson and Mrs. Gene (Linda) Miller, both of Tiffin and Lois Harrison of Parma Heights; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Carolyn Goodman; a son, Dale Jr. Channels; and a great-great-grandson.
Mrs. Channels, a graduate of St. Wendelin High School, Fostoria, worked as a sales representative for several companies and as a cook in several area restaurants.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an honorary member of its Altar Society.
A funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis Home Chapel, with the Rev. James Say as celebrant. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass Thursday in St. Francis Chapel.

Dortha Axe
Mother of Tiffin resident
Dortha Axe, 86, of 5299 E. 400 North, Portland, Ind.,died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born in Jay County, Indiana, March 4, 1914, to Ulrich and Estelle (Bryant) Bailey. In September 1931, she married
William Axe. He died in May 1959.
Survivors include: two daughters, Judithan Williamson of Portland, Ind., and Janet Anspaugh of Tiffin; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Rosemond Scott.
Mrs. Axe, a homemaker, attended the Westchester United Methodist Church for many years and most recently attended the Worldwide Church of God in Muncie.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, 221 N. Meridian St., Portland, with burial following in Green Park cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Arthur Dean Wohlgamuth
Union Carbide retiree
Arthur Dean Wohlgamuth, 65, of Woodward Avenue, Fostoria, died at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1934, in Findlay, to Carl and LaVerne (Slaughterbeck) Wohlgamuth. He first married
Sue Sheerer and they were divorced. On Aug. 11, 1978, in Tiffin, he married
Betty Kitchen. She survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include: a son, Neal Wohlgamuth of Goldsboro, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. George (Karen) Kosko of Newark; a stepson, James Cotter of Kentucky; three stepdaughters, Kathy Kitchen and Mrs. Danny (Barb) Hutton, both of Fostoria, and Mrs. Kenneth (Julie) Knotts of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Charlotte) Payne of Findlay; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Mr. Wohlgamuth, a U.S. Navy veteran, retired from the Union Carbide Co. in Fostoria.
A former manager, life member and past exalted ruler of Fostoria Elks Lodge 935, he also was a member of Fostoria Eagles Lodge, Fostoria Footlighters and past president of the Traffic Club.
Pastor Art Suydam will be the officiant at the 10 a.m. Saturday service in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Knollcrest cemetery, near Arcadia, where the joint Veteran Group of Fostoria will conduct military honors at the graveside.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where Elks memorial services will be at 7 p.m.

Dorothy J. Ogg
Former McCutchenville resident
Dorothy J. Ogg, 78, formerly of McCutchenville, for the past two years Wyandot County, Nursing Home, died at 6:18 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2000. She was born May 16, 1922 to Charles and Helen (Holverstott) Mericle. On Nov. 13, 1941 she married
Robert Dewey Ogg, and he died May 13, 1998.
Surviving include: a son, Steven L. Ogg of McCutchenville; four daughters, Mrs. Patricia Britton of Carey, Mrs. Betty Jane "Bet" Wagner of Findlay, Mrs. Jenny Emert of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Mrs. Vicki Charlton of Vanlue, Oh.; ten grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, Charles Mericle; and a sister, Betty Nuniviller.
Mrs. Ogg was a 1939 graduate of Carey High School and a homemaker. She also assisted her husband on the family farm. A member of the United Methodist Church for over 60 years in Carey and the Hancock Co. Camp Meeting Association.
The Rev. Christopher Cravens will officiate the 11 a.m., Saturday, June 24 funeral service at the Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey. Burial will be at Spring Grove cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.

Mildred L. Castret

Mildred L. Castret, 75, of 445 Park Avenue 401, Fostoria, died at 12:16 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at Independence House, Fostoria. She was born May 3, 1925 to Roy E. and Pearl A. (Stuckey) Myers. On June 17, 1944 she married
Orlo R. Castret, he died in 1986.
Surviving include: a daughter, Judith Ann Knapp of Oregon City, Oregon; a grandson, a brother, Richard E. Myers of Fostoria; and a sister, Velma Stearns of Bloomdale.
Mrs. Castret was a 1942 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and retired in 1985 from Autolite Company, now Honeywell, in Fostoria after 25 years as a machine operator. A member of: Fostoria Baptist Church; Fostoria Glass Association; Community Hospital Auxiliary; secretary Fostoria Historical Society; volunteer for Sharing kitchen; Bureau of Concern; and Independence House, all in Fostoria. She had volunteered over 10,000 hours at Fostoria Community Hospital.
The Rev. David P. Chapman will officiate the 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 26 funeral service at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be at Fountain cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

M. Marie Mullins

M. Marie Mullins, 59, of 22 Earl St., Bloomville, died at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at her home. She was born Aug. 25, 1940 to The Rev. William and Bertha (Adams) Wilcox, both deceased. On Sept. 12, 1959 she married
The Rev. Clarence Mullins, and he survives.
Other survivors include: a son, The Rev. Clarence "Ed" Mullins of Bellevue; four daughters, Teresa Marshall of Sandusky, Mrs. Mary Feight of Bucyrus, Mrs. Elizabeth Morgret of Fostoria, and Melissa Mullins of Bloomville; three brothers, Charles and James Wilcox, both of Tiffin, and JR Wilcox of New Albany, Ind.; a sister, Bea Collins of Miamisburg, Oh.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: three brothers, The Rev. William Wilcox, T.J. Wilcox, and Arthur Wilcox; four sisters, Betty Stacy, Kate Wilcox, Blanche Fields, and Virginia Wilcox.
Mrs. Mullins was a graduate of Whitesburg Kentucky High School and a homemaker. She traveled and sang with a gospel singing group along with her family known as the "Living Miracles", formerly known as "The Heavenly Doves". She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Fostoria, where her husband is the pastor.
The Rev. Brent Layne and The Rev. Arnold Rife will officiate the 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 24 funeral service at the Hoffman-Gottfried Funeral Home. Burial will be at Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.

Marguerite C. "Peg" Boes

Marguerite C. "Peg" Boes, 91, formerly of 338 Hedges St., Tiffin, died at 1:10 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2000 at St. Francis Home. She was born March 9, 1909 to George and Lauretta (Sendel) Kimmet. On June 10, 1936 she was married
in St. Andrew's Church in Liberty Twp. to Florian T. "Mike" Boes, he died May 18, 1997.
Surviving include: a son, Paul Boes of Tiffin; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Falter of Port Clinton, and Mrs. Mary Kay Nevius of Oak Harbor; three brothers, Norbert Kimmet of Bascom, Jerome Kimmet of Tiffin, and Alfred Kimmet of Gibsonburg; a sister, Genevieve Holman of Risingsun; nine grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Oliver and Ralph Kimmet; a son, Michael Boes; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Boes was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and also a member of the following: St. Joseph Altar Society; St. Joseph Choir; Legion of Mary, Mercy Hospital 500 hour Volunteer; Red Cross Gray Lady; and she loved to cook.
The Rev. James Say will officiate the Funeral Mass to be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, June 25, at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, Tiffin.

Robert E. Marks
Timken retiree
Robert E. Marks, 72, of 1373 Grandview, Bucyrus, and formerly of Carey Road, Bloomville, died at 7:47 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2000, at Bucyrus Community Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1927, in Tiffin to Clarence N. and Dorothy L. (Hoffert) Marks. He married
Evelyn Blasius June 10, 1954. She survives, along with two sons, Nicholas E. Marks of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jeffery L. Marks of Perrysburg; a daughter, Linda Staiger of Galion; and six grandchildren.
He graduated in 1945 from Lyken School; served in the U.S. Army during World War II; retired from the Timken Roller Bearing Co. in Bucyrus in 1984; and was a member of the Scioto United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Scioto United Methodist Church with the Rev. Renae Meggitt officiating. Burial will be at the Fairmont cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, and at the church from noon until the time of the service Tuesday.

Gertrude T. Nedolast

Gertrude T. Nedolast, 83, a resident of the St. Francis Home and formerly of 1312 W. TR 198, died at 6:07 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2000, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
She was born July 5, 1916, in New Riegel to Robert and Cecilia (Kroeckel) LaFountaine. She married
Cornelius J. Nedolast July 3, 1943, at St. Boniface Church in New Riegel. He died April 24, 1979.
Survivors include: five sons, Kenneth L. and Larry E. of Tiffin, Stephen C. of Bascom, Daniel A. and Kevin P. of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Diana M.) Frankart of Bloomville; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lucinda "Cindy" Coffman of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. Robert (Marianne) Zoeller of New Riegel, and Georgetta Hursey of Tiffin.
Preceding her in death were: seven brothers, Joseph, Ferdinand, Clarence, John, Charles, Peter, and Paul; and three sisters, Agnes, Isabella, and Rosa.
Mrs. Nedolast was a graduate of New Riegel High School; a laboratory technician at Midland Wire Co.; a homemaker; member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Catholic Ladies Bowling League; she also enjoyed golfing.
The rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by the funeral mass at 10 with the Rev. Frank A. Murd officiating and burial in St. Mary's cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home where a wake service will be at 8:45.

Thomas R. Smith, 47, of 947 N. Susan Drive, Fostoria, died at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2000, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Findlay.
He was born Oct. 17, 1952, in Fostoria to Fred Darwin and Lucille Freda (Brose) Smith. They survive in Fostoria. He married
Nancy Cramer and they were divorced.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Chad (Amber M.) Haller, and Mrs. Jason (Alysha R.) Clauss, both of Tiffin; two granddaughters; two brothers, Frederick W. and Donald E., both of Fostoria; three sisters, Paula L. Moehling and Mrs. Stephen (Christina M.) Zoeller of New Riegel, and Mrs. Ronald (Jean I.) Tiell of Fostoria; and paternal grandmother, Louisa B. Wyatt of Jacksonville, Ill.
He was a 1971 graduate of St. Wendelin High School; a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam War; a "setup man" for Continental Hose, Upper Sandusky; a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and Seneca County Pheasants Forever.
The rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. today at the St. Wendelin Church followed by the Christian burial Mass at 1 p.m. There will be military graveside honors by United Veterans of Fostoria in St. Wendelin Parish cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today at the church.

Eve Lucille Roberts
Former Kimmel Cleaners employee
Eve Lucille Roberts, 76, of 175 Community Drive, Marion, died at 12:35 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2000, in Community Health Care Center, Marion.
She was born Feb. 17, 1924, in Carey to Orville and Clara (Payne) Stroub. She married
Franklin Roberts Sept. 22, 1943, in Upper Sandusky. He is deceased.
Survivors include: a son, James D. Roberts of Marion; two daughters, Mrs. David (Karen) Miller of Apopka, Fla., and Mrs. Gary (Donna) J. Cooley of Richwood; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Peggie Stief of Upper Sandusky and Donna Knight of New Middletown.
Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Roberts worked at Colonial Coin Laundry in Marion for 22 years and was also employed by Kimmel Cleaners of Upper Sandusky. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Upper Sandusky, and Women of the Moose; enjoyed family get togethers and her dog, Nikki.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bringman-Clark and Co. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Cathy Wirth officiating. Burial will be in the Old Mission cemetery.
Visitation is 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
