Services for Mary L. "Susie" Snay, 65, 99 Center St., who died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at her home, will be at noon today in St. Mary Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Pleasant Union cemetery, Old Fort.
Visitation is 9:30-11:30 a.m. today at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care or the donor's choice.
Pauline N. Motter
Former West Market Street homemaker
Pauline N. Motter, 93, formerly of 7 W. Market St., died at 3:58 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in the Autumnwood Care Center.
She was born in Arcadia, Oct. 15, 1906, to Francis Lorenzo and Mary (Mertz) Chaney. On July 7, 1934, she married
Laurence S. Motter, who preceded her in death Oct. 27, 1971.
Survivors include: a granddaughter, Mrs. John (Sue) Arbogast of Tiffin; six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and two sister-in-laws.
Also preceding her in death were: a daughter, Marjorie Mitten; four brothers, Park, Carl, Francis and Clair Chaney; and five sisters, Helen Pennington, Hazel Hoffman, Mary Chaney, Florence Chaney and Bess Henderson.
A homemaker, Mrs. Motter was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Larry Smith will conduct the 10 a.m. Wednesday service in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery, Carey.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Robert Eugene Heisler
Brother of Attica resident
Robert Eugene Heisler, 71, of SR 103 East, Willard, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in the Willard Mercy Hospital, following a sudden illness.
He was born Dec. 27, 1928, in Centerton, to the late Carl and Cora (Robinson) Heisler. His wife, Alma Jean (Bevier) Heisler, whom he married
Nov. 12, 1950, survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Holly) Rose of Willard; a son, Robert Eric Heisler of Willard; two brothers, Donald Heisler of Brooksville, Fla. and William Heisler of Willard; a sister, Margaret Bollinger of Attica; and several nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by four sisters, Bernice and Gertrude Heisler, Mildred Davis and Catherine Kingelsmith; and a brother, Russell Heisler.
Mr. Heisler, a life-long Willard area resident, graduated from Willard High School in 1947, where he played football and basketball. He attended Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa and then completed training at the Dale Carnegie School of Public Speaking in Mansfield.
He worked for Heisler's Inc. in Willard for 45 years, where he was in charge of outside sales.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Willard, where he served as lay assistant and as a former church council member, he also was a member of Willard Elks Lodge 1370 and the Huguenot Historical Society, New Paltz, N.Y.
Mr. Heisler also served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp in Germany during the Koran Conflict.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Kent Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Willard, where full military graveside rites will be conducted.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Secor Funeral Home, Willard.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Leon Hendryckx
Retired maintenance man
Leon Hendryckx, 80, of 607 N. Main St., Bloomdale, died at 1 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in the Blakely Care Center, North Baltimore.
He was born Jan. 6, 1920, in North Baltimore, to Charles and Marie (Sabbe) Hendryckx. On Nov. 16, 1944, in Bloomdale, he married
Bernadine R. Slotterbeck, who survives in Bloomdale.
Survivors also include: a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Diana) Sexton of Columbus; a granddaughter and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Hendryckx.
Mr. Hendryckx, who had farmed until 1960, worked at the A&P Co. of Bloomdale until 1977. He also worked in maintenance at the Hancock County Home September 1977-1982, when he retired.
A World War II U.S. Navy veteran, he also worked part time at Precision Carbide in Bloomdale and did plumbing in the Bloomdale area.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Bloomdale Senior Citizens and the Knights of Pythias, all of Bloomdale.
The Rev. Neil Foster will be the officiant at the 10:30 a.m. Wednesday service in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Weaver cemetery, Bloom Township, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the United Veterans of Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
Sister M. Michael Pauken
St. Francis Sister
Sister M. Michael Pauken, 98, of Sisters of St. Francis, 200 St. Francis Ave., died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in the St. Francis Home.
She was born June 17, 1901, in Toledo to Michael and Margaret (Yeager) Pauken. Date of Reception was June 27, 1922; date of First Profession, July 2, 1924; and date of Final Profession, Aug. 28, 1929.
A sister, Mrs. Louis (Mildred) Dolt of Toledo, survives.
Four brothers, Leonard, Carl, Walter and Edward Pauken, are deceased.
From 1921 to 1924 she worked at the Motherhouse in the kitchen and doing floor work; in 1925, worked at Portiuncula doing part-time general housekeeping; 1929 through 1945, at the Motherhouse and did floor work, outside work and worked in the men's dining room; 1946, in Blakeslee worked as a housekeeper; 1947, at the Motherhouse in the men's kitchen and doing floor work; 1950, at Carey and her appointment was the dining room and Pilgrim house; 1951 to 1968, at the Motherhouse with housekeeping duties; 1969 to 1971, limited housekeeping duties at the Motherhouse; 1973-1978, at the Motherhouse recuperating and she was a special praying member; 1979 to 1999 she was a special praying member at Tiffin St. Francis Convent.
The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Convent with the Rev. Patrick Rohen officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery.
Visitation is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the St. Francis Community Room, St. Francis Convent, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
Albert Dayringer
Clyde city retiree
Albert Dayringer, 67, of South Church Street, Clyde, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Oregon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 30, 1932, in Clyde to Harry and Ruth (Logan) Dayringer. In October 1977 he married
Estelle Hatcher. She died in October 1977. He married
Joan Weber Feb. 18, 1978, in Monroe, Mich. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Victor (Pete) Dayringer; two stepsons, Jim Putney of North Carolina and John Putney of California; a stepdaughter, Joy North of Batavia; five grandchildren; and a brother, Herman Dayringer of Clyde.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son in infancy; and two sisters, Martha Clouse and Darlene Miller.
Mr. Dayringer was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the 82nd Airborne Division; employed by the City of Clyde Service Department for 30 years, retiring in 1981 due to disability; and enjoyed woodworking and working on cars.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Foos-Klein Funeral Home, Clyde. Military honors will be conducted at the burial which will be in Bakertown cemetery, Clyde.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Virginia M. Reed-Fuller
Former Tiffin resident
Virginia M. Reed-Fuller, 78, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in the John C. Lincoln Hospital, Deer Valley, Ariz., where she had been a patient for 10 days. She lived in Tiffin before moving to Arizona in 1990.
She was born in Lykens Township, Crawford County, July 20, 1921, to Claude G. and Esther V. (Michener) Hammond. She married
Everett Reedy Dec. 18, 1937. He died Aug. 6, 1943. She married
Dalton B. Fuller July 1, 1950. He died Sept. 22, 1987.
Survivors include: three sons, Everett W. Reedy of Mineral Wells, Texas, Melvin H. Reedy of Virginia Beach, Va., and Allen Fuller of Tiffin; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Ina Rae Reedy) Sager of Tiffin, Mrs. Gerald (Deena Reedy) Larick of Kingman, Ariz., and Mrs. Joseph (Karen Fuller) West of Phoenix, Ariz.; 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Marlin A. Hammond of Tiffin; four sisters, Miriam F. Heckerd of St. Petersburg, Fla., Carla G. Beal of Sandusky, Verneda I. Shuman and Mrs. Frank (Marilyn) Fogle, both of Brunswick.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker, mother, and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed working the farm with her father and was a "domestic engineer."
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Arrangements are in charge of the Turner-Engle Funeral Home.

William R. Tyree

William R. Tyree, 61, of 113 8th Ave., died at 1:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in his home.
He was born May 10, 1938, in Tiffin to Ira and Mary (Webb) Tyree. On July 25, 1975, he married
Dianna Bowman.
Survivors include: his wife; mother; five sons, Chad and Tyler, both at home, Scott and Jamie of Tiffin and William of Bucyrus; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Ginny) Drown of Chatfield and Mrs. David (Linda) Fitzgerald of Tiffin; five brothers, Paul, Henry and James of Green Springs, Don of Clyde and John of Tiffin; six sisters, Mildred Gibson of Green Springs, Marie Morrow of Tennessee, Shirley of Florida, Betty Matthew of Clyde, Mrs. Darrell (Sue) Hill and Nina Tyree, both of Tiffin; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Stella Dunn, and his father are deceased.
He worked 19 years as a welder at Pettibone and most recently as an assembler for 15 years for Whirlpool. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Green Springs.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home with the Rev. Watson Combs officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wanda I. Maskey
Upper Sandusky resident
Wanda I. Maskey, 86, formerly of 118 W. Walker St., Upper Sandusky and of Benton, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in the Wyandot County Nursing Home.
She was born to Russell M. and Zelma M. (Walcutt) Shedenhelm in Crawford County June 22, 1913. She married
Charles R. Maskey June 6, 1936. He died Jan. 13, 1971.
Survivors include: a brother, Charles M. Maskey of Sycamore; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Janet) Steiger and Mrs. Glen (Jean) Albright of Bucyrus, Mrs. Charles (Sandra) Zimmer of Sycamore and Mrs. Leona Stansberry of Upper Sandusky; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Rosalie Wood of Upper Sandusky.
A brother, Robert Shedenhelm, is deceased.
She was: a graduate of Sycamore High School; a homemaker; a member of Our Master's Chapel in Benton, the Willing Workers Sunday school class, the Ladies Aid Society of the church; and helped on the family farm and loved to cook and travel.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Burial will be in the Benton cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marian E. McKinney, 86, of apt. 109, 545 W. Market St., and formerly of SR 12, Bettsville, died at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in the Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky.
She was born in Berlin, Pa., to Allan H. and Susan M. (Hosttler) Brick. She married
Charles J. McKinney May 26, 1935. He died May 22, 1981.
Survivors include: three sons, Alfred L. of Perrysville, Kenneth C. of Sycamore and Sheldon E. of Bettsville; two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Leatrice) Karcher of Tiffin and Mrs. David (Carol) Reep of Upper Sandusky; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Alverda Smith and Mrs. Grace Sarver, both of Berlin, Pa.
A son, John L. McKinney, died in 1955; two brothers, Sherman and Milton Brick, are deceased.
She was a homemaker, worked in the dietary department of the Tiffin Mercy Hospital for nine years, and was affiliated with the Protestant faith.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Cathy Wirth officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

O. Fred Hedden
Softball coach
O. Fred Hedden, 83, of North TR 105, Kansas, died at 6:25 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
He was born Feb. 20, 1916, near Kansas to Phillip E. and Maude D. (Humbert) Hedden. He married
Mae Valenti Oct. 20, 1940, in Defiance. She died Feb. 6, 1996.
Survivors include: a son, Ron of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Cindy) Korb of Fremont; two brothers, Paul of Columbus and Lawrence of Tiffin; two sisters, Helen Yoder of Fostoria and Pauline Pasch of Fremont; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold, and two sisters, Leha Niemoto and Susan Gee.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II; retired in 1978 from Pfizer Co. in Gibsonburg, where he had been employed for 30 years; was a member of the Fostoria American Legion Post 73; coached softball teams; participated in horseshoe tournaments; and enjoyed fishing and coon hunting.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Gwen Sandstrom officiating. Burial will be in the Kansas cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
