Mary Ann Gibson
St. Francis nurse's assistant
Mary Ann Gibson, 39, of 775 W. TR 1188, Tiffin, died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, in The Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. She was born Nov. 5, 1960, in Tiffin to Robert and LaVerne (Lyman) Elchert. Her mother survives in Tiffin.
On Jan. 11, 1986 she married
Terry Gibson in the Pillar of Faith Church, Tiffin. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Adam Gibson at home; and a stepdaughter, Alissa Gibson of Tiffin.
Mrs. Gibson worked as a nurse's assistant at St. Francis Home since 1991.
The Rev. Larry Langston will officiate the 10 a.m. Saturday service at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenlawn cemetery.
Visitation hours are 2-4 and 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Lucille Katherine Reser
Former co-owner Lee's Shoe
Lucille Katherine Reser, 91, formerly of 1705 Lakeview Drive, Tiffin, died at 8:46 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, in Englewood Community Hospital, Englewood, Fla. She was born March 29, 1908, to Henry Nicholas and Christina (Hassenmeier) Moltz. On April 25, 1927, she married
Leon James Reser Sr. He died July 31, 1979.
Surviving are three sons, Leon James Reser Jr. and Raymond H. Reser, both of Englewood, Fla., and Thomas Arthur Reser of Fremont; 28 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were: a brother, Carl Moltz; two sisters, Wilma Peck and Margaret Kluding; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reser was a graduate of Sandusky High School and Sandusky Business College. She was a co-owner of Lee's Shoe Stores in Tiffin, Fremont, Bucyrus, Sandusky, Bellfontaine, Kenton and Dublin, retiring in 1973. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, was member of St. Francis of Assisi in Englewood, Fla., and was an avid bingo player.
The Rev. Frank A. Murd, the Rev. William Rose, and the Rev. James Steinle will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Saturday funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin. Burial will be at Holy Trinity cemetery, Bucyrus.
Visitation hours are 2-4 and 7-9 tonight at the Hoffman-Gottfried Funeral Home.
A wake service will be at 8:45 tonight at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Frieda Marie Neumeister
Upper Sandusky resident
Frieda Marie Neumeister, 89, formerly of 486 Shafer Drive, Upper Sandusky, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky.
The Rev. Cathy Wirth will officiate the 1:30 p.m. Saturday service at Trinity United Church of Christ, Upper Sandusky. Private burial services will be at Old Mission cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Bringman-Clark & Co. Funeral Home.

Gene A. Heibertshausen
Lifelong Attica resident
Gene A. Heibertshausen, 64, of 6168 SR 4 South, Attica, died at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at his home. He was born July 16, 1935, in Attica to the late Howard and Mary Jane (Musselman) Heibertshausen.
He was married
May 22, 1954, to Jean Heibertshausen. She survives.
Survivors include: two sons, Tom and Jim Heibertshausen, both of Attica; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Detillion of Tiffin, Mrs. Mary Moore of Willard and Mrs. Kathy Schoen of Bellevue; a brother, Harold Heibertshausen of Attica; a sister, Jane Turner of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were: Mariam Benedict and Faye Link; and two grandchildren, Mark and Luke Moore.
Mr. Heibertshausen was a 1953 graduate of Attica High School. He worked at Timken Co. in Bucyrus for more than 30 years, retiring in 1987. He also farmed until 1976 and was the owner and operator of Gene's Recycling, Attica. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church; Attica Lions Club for 10 years and most recently received a Melvin Jones fellow for his dedication to the Attica Lions; and a member of the Ohio/Michigan Implement Dealers.
Services will beat 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Attica, with The Rev. James E. Barkenquast officiating. Burial will be in Attica-Venice cemetery.
Visitation hours are 2-4 and 6-9 tonight at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Home, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, with the Attica Lions Club conducting a service at 5:30.
Memorials may be made to the Community Hospice of Tiffin or the Organ Fund of Bethlehem Lutheran Church through the funeral home.
Hilda K. Potts
Mother of Tiffin residents
Hilda K. Potts, 87, of Norwalk died Wednesday evening, Dec. 1, 1999, at Norwalk Memorial Home, she had been ill since January. She was born Jan. 27, 1912, to Frank and Theresa (Wilhelm) Hahler. She was married
to Webster Potts. He died in 1980.
Surviving are three sons, Franklin L. Potts of Tiffin, George E. Potts of Cuyahoga Falls and John A. Potts of Milton, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Theresa Weisenberger of Norwalk and Mrs. Kathryn B. Engle of West Columbia, S.C.; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Daniel W. Potts, and two brothers, Raymond and Bernard Hahler.
Mrs. Potts was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk, and was involved in "Project Friend" and the Ladies of St. Paul. In May 1999, she was honored for her contribution of 10,000 hours of voluntary service to the Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
The Pastor Herbert Willman will be celebrant for the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk. Burial will be at St. Paul cemetery, Norwalk.
Visitation hours will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hinman-Tanner & Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk.
Kenneth Wayne Tripp
Bloomville resident
Kenneth Wayne Tripp, 57, of 14 W. New Haven St., Bloomville, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 1, 1999, at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo after an extended illness. He was born Aug. 26, 1942, in Lansing, Mich., to John and Esther (Kouw) Tripp. He married
Idabelle R. Hummel. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Kenneth W. Tripp II and John J. Tripp, both of Bloomville; a daughter, Amy R. Tripp of Bloomville; a granddaughter, Jenna Tripp of Bloomville; and a brother, Lloyd Tripp of Massillon.
He was raised in Holland, Mich., and then lived in the Sandusky and Castalia areas, moving to Bloomville in 1990. He was formerly a pressman by RB Manufacturing, and was also formerly employed by George Crawford Painting in Sandusky. He was a former member of the Sandusky Eagles, and an avid sprint car fan.
The Rev. Gary Hicks will officiate the 2 p.m. Saturday service at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Bloomville.
Visitation hours will be 12-2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Harry Thomas Bland
Basic Inc. retiree
Harry Thomas Bland, 80, of 3071 E. CR 50, died at 6:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at the Autumnwood Care Center, where he had been living for a year.
He was born in Tiffin Jan. 21, 1919, to George W. and Eliza A. (Sours) Bland. On March 16, 1969, he married
Jeannette Ruth Castret-Kerlin in Bascom. She survives along with a son, Ronald Bland of Bettsville; four stepsons, David Kerlin of Findlay, Dennis Kerlin of Tiffin, Keith Kerlin of North Baltimore and Kenneth Kerlin of Florida; two stepdaughters, Noreen Walters and Teresa Doyle, both of Findlay; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; a sister, Helen Stewart of Lima; many nieces and nephews, including two nephews, Gene Smith and Willis Smith, and three nieces he raised.
Preceding him in death were: a son, Robert Bland; two daughters, Loretta Myler and Patricia Myler; a stepson, Bill Kerlin, who died in Vietnam; five sisters, Dorothy Dieter, Edna Fritz, Grace Jenkins, Frances Brenner and Mary Whittenmyer; and a half brother, Ramon Sours.
He was in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II and retired from Basic Inc. in 1971.
The funeral is tentatively scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home with the Pastor Nolan Blakkolb officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens where the United Veterans Council will hold military graveside services.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

William E. Gibson, 75, of 65 Virginia Ave., died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home.

Graveside Services for William E. Gibson, 75, of 65 Virginia Ave., Tiffin are scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 1999 at 2 p.m. at Fairmont cemetery. Mr. Gibson's death occurred December 3, 1999. Following the committal rites by The Rev. Wendell D. Shepherd, the United Veterans Council will also have services.

Ines C. Trevino, 50, of 442 S. Monroe St., died at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, in the emergency room of the Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
He was born July 28, 1949, in Laredo, Texas, to Cornelio and Josefina (Cardenas) Trevino. He married
Diane Sperow Oct. 25, 1965, in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bascom.
He is survived by his wife; his mother of Laredo, Texas; a son, Barry Trevino of Tiffin; three daughters, Mrs. Christopher (Beth) Boehler of Tiffin, Mrs. Clark (Amy) Hubbard of Pax River, Md., and Mrs. Michael (Lori) Dempsey of Toledo; three brothers, Cornelio Jr., Geraldo and Efrain, all of Laredo, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Josefina) Devine of Jacksonville, Fla., and Margareta Rodriquez of Laredo; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a twin brother, Cayetano, and an infant brother.
He was in the U. S. Army 1966-1969; was a 1977 graduate of Terra Technical College with an associate in applied science, mechanical engineering; attended Heidelberg College; and was a boiler operator/custodian in the Fostoria Community Schools;
a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Mary Catholic Church; St. Joseph Church Choir; and Tiffin Eagles Aerie 402.
The rosary will be recited at 10:15 a.m. Monday with funeral Mass following at 10:30 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery with the United Veterans Council conducting the graveside service.
Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Ruby J. George
Former Bloomville resident
Ruby J. George, 80, of 7 West Market St. and formerly of Bloomville, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at the Ruffing Family Care Center, Bloomville.
She was born Oct. 21, 1919, in Bucyrus to John and Enomah (Rexroth) Cress. On April 25, 1943, she married
Henry E. George in Bucyrus. He died Aug. 4, 1987.
Survivors include: two sons, Henry R. George of Satsuma, Fla., and Robert Steven George of Bloomville; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi (Suzie) Toepper of Tiffin and Mrs. Alan (Kathy) Seitz of Westerville; a sister, Doris James of Sunny Vale, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eddie Toepper in 1987; four brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Richard and Gene Cress.
Mrs. George was a 1938 graduate of Morrow high school; a member of the Bloomville United Church of Christ and its Women's Guild; St. John's United Church of Christ Women's Guild in Tiffin; a member and past worthy matron of Luella Chapter 223 Order of the Eastern Star of Bloomville; and a former Girl Scout leader. She had worked as a a laborer for GE in Tiffin.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, Bloomville, with the Rev. Diane Grohmann officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery, Bloomville.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday with Eastern Star Services at 6:45. Bloomville Lions Club visitation will be Sunday at 7 p.m.

Marie I. Dible
Upper Sandusky resident
Marie I. Dible, 89, of 13108 Salem TH 44, Upper Sandusky, died at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, in the Wyandot County Nursing Home, where she had been living since February.
She was born Feb. 18, 1910, in Kirby to John J. and Isabell (Elchert) Miller. In November of 1931 she married
Frederick C. Dible in Kirby. He died Jan. 2, 1983.
Survivors include: three sons, Donald F. of Sunbury, Richard E. of London and Allen D. of Upper Sandusky; three daughters, Mrs. Amos (Mary) Niese of Ottawa, Mrs. Donald (Sharon) Staib of McConnellsville and Mrs. Dodge (Barbara) DeBolt of Cortez, Colo.; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rose Collet of Carey, Martha Kingman of Findlay and Irene Orians of Upper Sandusky.
Two grandchildren; two brothers, Francis and Joseph Miller; three sisters, Corrine Emerine, Angeline Kear and Hilda Miller, are deceased.
She was a 1929 Upper Sandusky High School graduate; a homemaker; worked in the cafeteria at Salem school and at the Retreat Center and Mission House at O.L.C. in Carey; a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Salem Township, Upper Sandusky; C.L. of C., Upper Sandusky; St. Joseph Altar-Rosary Society. Her hobbies included making rosaries (about 1,000) and giving them away, house plants, doing ceramics and helping others.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Salem Township, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Ernest Waechtar officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Bringman-Clark & Co. Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. Biblical scripture will be at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by a C.L. of C. Memorial Service.

John Holtz Buskirk
Life-long farmer
John Holtz Buskirk, 85, 3282 N. CR 37, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, in the Ruffing Family Care Center, where he had been a patient since Nov. 26.
He was born in Pleasant Township, Seneca County, March 23, 1914, to Fannie (Holtz) and Dorsey Rosenberger Buskirk. On Oct. 16, 1937, in St. Paul's Methodist Church, Tiffin, he married
Alice Marie Shedenhelm, who survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, John G. "Jack" and William D. Buskirk, both of rural Tiffin; three daughters, Rebecca (Buskirk) Reiter and Elizabeth (Buskirk) Beisner, both of rural Tiffin and Martha (Buskirk) Bereza of Findlay; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Buskirk of rural Tiffin.
A sister, Mary Eloise Crabill, is deceased.
Mr. Buskirk, a life-long farmer, was a 1931 graduate of Columbian High School and a 1935 graduate of Heidelberg College.
A life-long member of Pleasant Ridge (Egbert's) Church, and a member of its Board of Trustees for many years, he also was a member of Union Grange 1078 for 75 years, the County and National Granges; Seneca County Farm Bureau member for 60 years; Green Springs Co-op Board, where he served as former president; member for 16 years and former president of the Old Fort School Board; and a member of the REA Board for several years.
Mr, Buskirk was serving as treasurer of Union Grange when the new building was erected in 1957 and drew the plans for the building. He also was instrumental with Max Hoover, in establishing Morrison Lake in 1952.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 in Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Andrew Angel officiating.
