Angelena Nichole Daniel
Infant daughter
Angelena Nichole Daniel, infant daughter of Thomas W. and Denice M. (Nye) Daniel, 5717 W. TR 112, was stillborn at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
Survivors include her parents; eight sisters, Kimberly Brady and Tonya Daniel, both of Tiffin; and Nichole, Maggie, Melinda, Samantha, Emilena and Aleta Daniel, all at home; five brothers, Christopher Daniel of Fostoria and Nathaniel, Stephen, Bradley and Alexander Daniel, all at home; maternal grandparents, Carl J. and Pearl Nye of Alvada; and two nephews.
Her paternal grandparents, Victor and Lena Daniel, are deceased.
Angelena was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom.
A graveside service will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's cemetery, Bascom, with the Rev. David Bruning officiating.
There will be no visitation. The Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Hopewell-Loudon School Library or a charity of the donor's choice.
Anthony W. 'Tony' Brown
Fostoria resident
Anthony W. "Tony" Brown, 41, of 1118 Sandusky St., Fostoria, died at 4:03 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, in the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
He was born in Toledo, Dec. 30, 1957, to Waverly Brown Jr. and Leona Mae (Zunk) Baker. His mother and step-father, Roy Baker, survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include: two sons, Anthony Brown Jr. of Indiana and Zachary McKnight of Bowling Green; two daughters, Sunshine Brown of Indiana and Megan Brown of Fostoria; six brothers, Keith Brown of Oceola, Delbert, Glen, Jim and Mark Brown, all of Fostoria and Mike Brown of Marion; two sisters, Mrs. Mick (Linda) Wesney of Fostoria and Rosey Brown of Michigan; and his fiance, Tina Debelak, also of Fostoria.
His father is deceased.
The Rev. Donald R. Goodwin will be the officiant at the 1 p.m. Wednesday service in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Franklin D. 'Frankie' Fraley
Frankie's Best owner/operator
Franklin D. "Frankie" Fraley, 66, of James Marie Court, Fostoria, died at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999, in St. Francis Health Care Centre, Green Springs.
He was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Jackson County, to the late Grover and Norna (Fisher) Fraley Sr. He first married
Bonny F. Shasteen, in January 1955, in Ft. Wayne, Ind. and they were later divorced. In July 1975, in McComb, he married
Jarnice Ferdinandsen, and they also were divorced.
Survivors include: three sons, Franklin Fraley Jr. of Beverly Hills, Calif. and CA and Christopher Fraley, both of Findlay; four daughters, Dona Fraley, Kim Gomez and Molly Villegas, all of Findlay and Charla Fraley of Columbus; a brother, Lotus Fraley of Jackson; two sisters, Mildred Mount of Schertz, Texas and Marie Loyons of Sun City Center, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were four brothers, Osher, Grover Jr., Walter and Jimmy Fraley; and seven sisters, Oral Martin, Opal Marsh, Della Hanes, Clara Luther, Nellie Cunningham, Mabel Nebughr and Norma Mullins.
Mr. Fraley, a 1951 graduate of Jackson High School, Jackson, Ohio, retired in 1998 as the owner/operator of Frankie's Best and Four Seasons Garden Center in Fostoria.
Prior to that he was a sales manager for Top-pers Potato Chips Co., Toledo; owner of Common Taters in Adrian, Mich.; manager of sales and advertising for Dan-Dee Potato Chips in Dayton; sales manager for Q-Man Potato Chips, Toledo; owner of Toasted Tatters, Bluffton; former manager of DeHavens Garden Center in Findlay; owner of Franks Garden Center, Wapakoneta and owner of the Shamrock Bar and Grill in Sandusky.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Ohio Potato Chip Association, where he served as past president; Findlay Post 21 AMVETS, Fostoria American Legion Post 73 and Eagles Lodge 430.
Mr. Fraley was well known for his lavish Christmas decorations at Frankie's Best and also decorations for Fostoria High School's prom, graduation and other school functions.
Services in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Findlay.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the Frank Fraley Memorial Fund, in care of Ohio Bank, 570 Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830 to be used for the benefit of the students of St. Wendelin and Fostoria High Schools.
Ben Holeman
Fostoria Union Carbide retiree
Ben Holeman, 78, of West Millgrove, died early Sunday morning, Nov. 21, 1999, at his winter residence in Tampa, Fla.
He was born in Jerry; City, Oct. 12, 1921, to Perry E. and Gertrude (Glovner) Holeman. His first wife, Tillie Lucretia "Pat" (Rathburn) Holeman, whom he married
Aug. 3, 1946,, died April 27, 1984. On March 9, 1986, he married
Jeanne D. (Purdy) Vitte who survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Clifford G. Holeman of Perrysburg and Gary L. Holeman of Fostoria; a daughter, Dianna Reichenbaugh of West Millgrove; a step-son, Charles F. Vitte of Tampa; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Helen) Boice of Bowling Green, Mrs. John (Louise) Woessner of Tontogany and Mae Allgire of Weston; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Bill Holeman, is deceased.
Mr. Holeman, a 1939 graduate of Cygnet High School, retired from the Fostoria Union Carbide.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, having received six Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct medal, he was a member of the Fostoria Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32 degree mason; and a former member of the Fostoria Moose Lodge.
He also served as past captain of the West Millgrove Volunteer Fire Department.
Services in the Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Edward Morris officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery, West Millgrove.
Visitation at the funeral home is 5-9 p.m. today and noon-2 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic services are at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to West Millgrove Volunteer Fire Department.
Hoyland G. Gannon
Tiffin native
Hoyland G. Gannon, 78, of Waverly, died at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, following an extended illness.
He was born in Tiffin, May 8, 1921, to Rush and Florence (Baker) Gannon. On March 28, 1941, he married
Donna K. Martin, who survives.
Survivors also include: a daughter, Mrs. John (Karen) Androsac of Bainbridge; a son, Douglas Gannon of Huron; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews.
Three brothers and a sister, are deceased.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Gannon was employed as the manager of the automotive department at JCPenney's; as manager of Colonial Finance, Tiffin; manager of the Consumer Loan Department at Citizen's National Bank and most recently as owner of Ross Co. Collection Agency.
He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, the Lion's Club and the VFW.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home, 1661 Western Ave., Chillicothe, followed by cremation.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Clifford P. Hoover
Retired plumber
Clifford P. Hoover, 75, of 1529 N. SR 19, Republic, died Sunday evening, Nov. 21, 1999, in the Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont, following an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Tiffin, to Paul and Marie (Schank) Hoover. He married
Edith Swick on Oct. 23, 1945, and she died in 1972. He later married
Vivian Burkholder Miller, who died in 1983. On Aug. 27, 1998, he married
Marjorie Lowery, who survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, David and Jeff Hoover, both of Republic; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Nancy) Benner of Tiffin and Mrs. Arthur (Evelyn) Polzin of Zion, Ill.; four step-sons, Vernon, Byron, Roger and Gerald Burkholder, all of Republic; two step-daughters, Mrs. Marcia Kiesel of Attica and Sandra Mills of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hoover, the owner of Clifford Hoover Plumbing and Heating, retired in 1981.
He was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, Wade Benfer American Legion Post 404 and past master of Hildreth Lodge 165 Free and Accepted Masons, all of Republic.
A World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran, he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with the Rev. Robert Church officiating. Burial will be in Block cemetery, Republic.
Visitation at the funeral home is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.

Frieda Marie Neumeister
Former newspaper employee
Frieda Marie Neumeister, 89, formerly of 486 Shafer Drive, Upper Sandusky, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, in the Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky, where she had resided for the past three years.
She was born in Upper Sandusky, Aug. 19, 1910, to Abraham and Rosina (Schmidt) Steiner. On April 7, 1935, in Upper Sandusky, she married
Karl Edward Neumeister, who preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1996.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Lizbeth) Spayde of Monroeville; and a grandson, Christopher Lee Spayde, also of Monroeville.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Clyde, Paul and Herman; and two sisters, Rose Tschantz and Martha Jonas.
Mrs. Neumeister worked for the Daily Chief and Chief Union Newspapers and for many years was employed as a bookkeeper at the former Neumeister's Bakery in Upper Sandusky.
A member of Trinity United Church Christ, since June 1922 and its Women's Guild, she enjoyed knitting, making afghans, sewing, cooking and playing cards.
The Rev. Cathy Wirth will be the officiant at the 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 memorial service in Trinity United Church of Christ, Upper Sandusky. Private burial services will be at Old Mission cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Dec. 4 at the church.
Memorials may be made to Trinity United Christ Improvement Fund.

Pauline L. Sager
Rural Tiffin homemaker
Pauline L. Sager, 84, 89 W. TR 1020, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, where she had been a patient since Nov. 13.
She was born in Kansas, Ohio, June 28, 1915, to David and Nina (Chaney) Rau. Her husband, Samuel Sager, whom she married
Dec. 24, 1932, in Tiffin, survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Samuel II and Melvin Sager, both of Tiffin; two daughters, Janet Meisner and Grace Smith, both of Tiffin; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Beulah Sours and Betty Patterson, both of Tiffin.
Three children, Charles, Daniel David and Doris Louise Sager; a brother, Vernon Rau; and a sister, Virginia Mackling, also are deceased.
A life-time Seneca County resident, Mrs. Sager, was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Methodist Church.
Services in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home are at 3 p.m. today, with the Rev. John D. Teeters officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Union cemetery, Old Fort.
Visitation at the funeral home is one hour before the service today.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
G. Willis 'Jake' Smith
Retired Hancock County farmer
G. Willis "Jake" Smith, 88, formerly of 13598 TR 190, Findlay, died in the Winebrenner Village, Findlay, at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999.
He was born in Wyandot County, Sept. 20, 1911, to William Jobe and Theodoshia (Berry) Smith. On Aug. 23, 1935, in Carey, he married
Alice Mildred Roynon, who preceded him in death Feb. 7, 1996.
Survivors include three sons, Linden Smith of Findlay, Ronald Smith of Delaware, Ohio and Richard Smith, also of Findlay; four daughters, Mrs. Dwayne (Reva) Hineland and Mrs. Claren (Jane) Walter, both of Findlay, Mrs. Ronald (Regina) Cook of Vanlue and Mrs. Larry (Carol) Tumbleson of Payne, Ohio; 27 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter, two brothers, Lawrence and Clarence Smith; and two sisters, Ruth Swerlein and Mabel Wenner, also are deceased.
Mr. Smith, a retired Hancock County farmer, also retired from the San-A-Pure Dairy in Findlay.
He was a member of Ridge Chapel Church of the Nazarene, Carey and the Nazarene World Missions Society.
The Rev. Buck Traylor and the Rev. Jim Platner will be the co officiants at the 11 a.m. Saturday service in Ridge Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Spring Grove cemetery, Carey.
Visitation at the Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey, will be 2-9 p.m. Friday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the church or the Nazarene World Missions Society.
Marjean Ruth Sellers
Sister of Attica resident
Word has been received of the death of Marjean Ruth Sellers, 46, of Mount Vernon, Va., who died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, in Mount Vernon.
She was born in Barberton to the late Don and Ruth Sellers.
Surviving are two brothers, James Sellers of Attica and Dennis Sellers of Barberton; three sisters, Lynn and Darlene Sellers, both of Barberton and Donna Sellers of Prague, Czech.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Campfield Hickman Funeral Home, Barberton, will be 1 p.m.. Saturday until the time of the service at 4 p.m.

James Frederick Davis II
Tiffin native/truck driver
Former Tiffin resident, James Frederick Davis II, 40, of 130 Porcelain St., New Lexington, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, in the Ohio State University Hospital, Franklin County, Columbus.
He was born in Tiffin, Oct. 13, 1959, to James F. and Maxine (Burgess) Davis, who survive in New Lexington. He was formerly married
to Jenny Cornett of Tiffin, who survives.
Other survivors include: two children, Christopher James and Arminda Brooke Davis, both of Tiffin; and four sisters, Cynthia Lutz of Birmingham, Ala., Sandra Lee Vondenberg and Sheri Lynn Harshman, both of Crooksville and Dreama Kay Flanagan of New Lexington.
Mr. Davis, a graduate of Columbian High School, was employed as a truck driver for MBM Corp.
A U.S. Army veteran, having served during peacetime in Germany, he was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Brother Richard Young of New Lexington, will conduct the 10:30 a.m. Saturday service in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
