Malinda J. Bradner, 51, of West Seneca CR 28, Fostoria, died in the Fostoria Community Hospital at 5:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999.
She was born Oct. 19, 1947, in Murray City, to the late William L. and Glennadean M. (Warren) Swyers. On Jan. 5, 1971, in North Baltimore, she married
Donald E. Bradner, who preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1998.
Survivors include: four sons, Shawn P. Bradner of Amsden, Donnie E. and Timothy M. Bradner, both of Fostoria and Christopher M. Bradner of Camp La Jeune, N.C.; three brothers, Herk Swyers of Murray City, Ralph Swyers of Orwell, and Bill Swyers of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Peg Riley of Nelsonville and Fay Hetzel of Sycamore; and seven grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Johnny Bradner, a daughter, Connie Bradner; a brother, Donald Swyers; and a sister, Delorse Lanning.
Mrs. Bradner, a 1965 graduate of Nelsonville York High School, was employed at Atlas Industries in Fremont.
She was a member of Fostoria Woman of the Moose 154, VFW Ladies Auxiliary 421, WIBC Koffee Klatch and the Tuesday Mixed League at Dunn's Lanes.
Services in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Liberty cemetery, near Bettsville.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
Louis A. 'Dick' Kehres
Retired farmer
Louis A. "Dick" Kehres, 93, of SR 103, Tiro, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, in Crestwood Care Nursing Home, Shelby, following a two-year illness.
He was born Aug. 18, 1906, in Ottoville to Sebastian H. and Theresa (Yocklin) Kehres, and lived most of his life in the New Washington area. His wife, Genevieve A. (Heydinger) Kehres, whom he married
Oct. 24, 1928, survives.
Survivors also include: a daughter, Sister Theresa Kehres O.S.F. of New Boston; seven sons, Gerald, Carl, Robert "Spark," and Daniel Kehres, all of New Washington, Ben Kehres of Tiro, Kenneth Kehres of El Dorado, Kan., and Father Franklin Kehres of Sandusky; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Frederick Kehres; three brothers, Fred, Edward and Isadore; and four sisters, Sister M. Julia Kehres, Ida Siebenaler, Rose Cramer and Dorothy Hertzer.
Mr. Kehres, a farmer, was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Bernard Catholic Church, New Washington, with the Rev. Frank Kehres presiding. Burial will be in Mother of Sorrows Catholic cemetery, North Auburn.
Visitation at the Secor Funeral Home, New Washington, will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, where a Scripture service will be at 8:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Bernard and Mother of Sorrows School Endowment Fund.
Lee Zeitz
Car lot owner/operator
Lee Zeitz, 66, of Sycamore Street, Fremont, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
He was born in Fremont Jan. 1, 1933, to the late Rollie and Kathryn (Donahue) Zeitz.
Survivors include: two sons, Brian Zeitz of Fortville, Ind., and David "Dusty" Zeitz of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Jerry Zeitz of Fremont; two sisters, Marian Weise of Green Springs and Barbara Masters of Winter Haven, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
A sister, Betty Ball, also is deceased.
Mr. Zeitz, a U.S. Army veteran, owned and operated several car lots in the Fremont area.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Ottawa County Harness Association.
A memorial luncheon and fellowship will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the Fremont Moose Lodge.

Bess Elizabeth Gee
Bendix Autolite retiree
Bess Elizabeth Gee, 79, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, at her residence on SR 12, Fostoria.
She was born in Bloomdale Aug. 31, 1919, to Blaine and Elva Mae (Coleman) Goodale. On July 11, 1939, in Bidwell, Ohio, she married
Harold "Jack" Gee, who survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Penny K. Shane of Fostoria; four brothers, James Goodale of Tiffin, Bernard Goodale of Findlay, Roger Goodale of Terra Haute, Ind., and Jack Goodale of Traverse City, Mich.; six sisters, Virginia Hart, Gloria Wagner, Connie Kiser and Shirley Bulkowski, all of Fostoria, Bernita Gerwin of Madrid, Spain, and Beverly Petticos of Fremont; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A brother, Richard Goodale, and a sister, Eleanor Sheridan, also are deceased.
Mrs. Gee, who attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Fostoria, retired in 1976 from Bendix Autolite, Fostoria, after 35 years.
A member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, she served as the Fostoria Centennial Queen in 1954.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the First Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Russell Gumm officiating. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
There will be no visitation. The Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the church.
Harvey L. Rock
Norfolk/Southern Railroad retiree
Harvey L. Rock, 70, of 133 Sandusky St., Fostoria, died in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria, at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 1999.
He was born June 6, 1929, in Seneca County, to Harry A. and Lillian (Meyers) Rock. He married
Elizabeth Cornely June 4, 1966, in Fostoria, and they were divorced.
Two stepchildren and nieces and nephews survive.
Also preceding him in death were his stepfather, Pete Simonis; and a brother, Edward E. Rock.
Mr. Rock worked for more than 30 years at Norfolk and Southern Railroad as a section laborer, retiring in 1982.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria, with the Rev. Dale Neller officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, who are in charge of arrangements.
Cecil L. Salmons

Cecil L. Salmons, 71, of 359 W. Maple St., Clyde, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in the Emergency Room of the Bellevue Hospital.
He was born in Glenn Hayes, W.Va., Jan. 23, 1928, to Sherman and Lou Emma (Ferguson) Salmons. His wife, Virginia (Ramey) Salmons, whom he married
Dec. 31, 1953, in Grundy, Va., survives in Clyde.
Survivors also include: a son, Garry Salmons of Clyde; three daughters, Judith Roepke, Roseilee Lowe and Lela Hoffman, all of Clyde; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Danny Ray Salmons of Xenia; and three sisters, Jewel Garza of Green Springs, Carrie Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Juanita Hall, also of Xenia.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude and Nathan, and two sisters, Dolly and Dorothy.
Mr. Salmons was employed at Whirlpool Corp. Clyde Division for 35 years, retiring in 1989.
An avid gun collector, he was a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ and enjoyed flea markets.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Foos-Klein Funeral Home, Clyde, with the Rev. Don Spurlock officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Butternut Ridge cemetery, Clyde.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 11 a.m. Friday until time of the service.

Daniel Lee Frankart

Daniel Lee Frankart, 49, of 7364 Liberty TR 95, Findlay, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in Findlay.
He was born in Fostoria, Feb. 12, 1950, to Arthur Michael and Anna Lucille (Smith) Frankart. His mother survives in Fostoria. He was married
to Mary (Whelan) Pryba. She survives in Perrysburg
Other survivors include: a son, Ryan C. Frankart of Bowling Green; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Chris (Laurie) Carpenter of Toledo; a stepson, John Pryba of Findlay; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dale (Marilyn) Wilson of Gibsonburg and Sharon Smith of Fostoria; and four brothers, Gary, Keith, Tim and Bill Frankart, all of Fostoria.
His father and a brother, Michael Frankart, preceded him in death.
Mr. Frankart, a 1968 St. Wendelin High School graduate and an avid sportsman, was employed at Cooper Tire and Rubber in Findlay.
A U.S. Marine veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era, he was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where the rosary will be recited at 10. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery, where military graveside honors will be conducted by the United Veterans of Fostoria.
There will be no visitation.

Jack B. Baker
Atlas Crankshaft retiree
Jack B. Baker, 72, of Oak Cove Drive, Fostoria, died at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in Winebrenner Village, Findlay.
He was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Fostoria, to George and Bernice (Covrett) Baker. He first married
Marie Hobbs. They were divorced. On Nov. 28, 1963, in Attica, he married
Rachel Stewart. She died May 9, 1986. On Dec. 4, 1987, in Fostoria, he married
June Weller. She survives in Fostoria.
Survivors also include: two stepsons, David Stewart of Bedfort, Texas, and Paul Stewart of Allen, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. William (Jackie) Henry of Olathe, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Donita Butler of Fostoria; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Arlene) Boas of Fostoria and Patricia Binninger of Attica; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Baker, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, retired as a tool and die maker in 1988 from the Atlas Crankshaft, Fostoria.
A 1944 Fostoria High School graduate, he was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and attended Hope Lutheran Church, both of Fostoria.
He also was a member of Fostoria Lodge 288 Free and Accepted Masons, Fostoria Chapter 94 Order Eastern Star, which he served as past patron, Fostoria Elks Lodge 935 and past member of the Fostoria York Rite and Shrine.
The Rev. Jeffrey Waite and the Rev. Richard Hofmann will be the co-officiants at the 10:30 a.m. Monday service in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a Masonic Memorial service will be at 7.
Memorials may be made to High Street United Methodist Church, Hope Lutheran Church or the Shrine Crippled Children's Fund.
Margaret Cleo Burson

Margaret Cleo Burson, 96, of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, at the home. She was born Aug. 29, 1902, in Hancock County to David and Mary Luella (Waltermire) Orwick. On Sept. 3, 1921, she married
Raymond E. Burson. He died in January 1976.
Surviving include: a granddaughter, Julie Guffey of Kent; and a great-grandson, Ryan Guffey of Kent.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; a daughter, R. Coleen Burson-Myers; two brothers, Charles and Harlan Orwick; two sisters, Odith Orwick and Lela Russell; and a grandson, James R. Myers.
Mrs. Burson was a graduate of Arlington High School and received her business degree from Findlay College. She was a homemaker and member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria and United Methodist Women.
The Rev. Branson Hawkes will officiate the service at 1 p.m. today at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be at Maple Grove cemetery in Findlay.
Visitation hours are two hours prior to the services.

Erma Rose Yost

Erma Rose Yost, 80, formerly of 52 Adams St., died at 6:32 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999, at the Ruffing Family Care Center.
She was born July 13, 1919, in Tiffin to Carney and Kathryn (Kimmet) Burkett and married
Leonard R. Yost on June 10, 1944, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. He died March 11, 1988.
Mrs. Yost is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Gill of Tiffin; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, John and Harold Burkett, and a sister, K. Pauline Shaw.
She was a sprayer at the Tiffin American Standard for 20 years; a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church; Rosary Altar Society; Moose Auxiliary; United Commercial Travelers; and Eagles Auxiliary.
The Rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. followed by the funeral at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, where a Parish Wake Service will be at 3:30 p.m.

Jack Charles Wise

Jack Charles Wise, 36, of 851 E. TR 149, died at 5:48 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999, in the St. Rita's Medical Center emergency room, Lima, after an auto accident on SR 568 in Hancock County .
Mr. Wise was born April 23, 1963, in Tiffin to Thomas L. and Donna J. (Wickert) Wise, who survive.
Also surviving are his wife, Korena Tyree, whom he married
Dec. 16, 1989, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Sycamore; a son, Austin Wise at home; a stepson, Corey Welly of Dayton; a daughter, Jacqueline Wise at home; three brothers, Timothy of Toledo, William of Tiffin and Bradley of Langhorne, Pa.; a sister Julie Rosenberger of Tiffin; maternal grandmother Ethel Wickert of Old Fort; and paternal grandmother Marie A. Wise of Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack L. Wickert, and paternal grandfather, Charles J. Wise.
He was a supervisor at Kohl's Distribution Center in Findlay; a 1981 graduate of Mohawk High School; a member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church in Sycamore; and the coach for the Melmore girls softball team.
The Rosary will be recited at 11:45 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at noon Monday in the St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Murd and the Rev. Thomas Ankenbrandt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, with a wake service at 8:45 p.m.
