HOUSER (CREASAP, ALEXANDER) Bernice I. Houser, age 79, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She was the head waitress at Green Gables Central Point Drive In for 23 years. Preceded in death by her parents Homer and Ruth Creasap, husband Joseph R., brothers Vernon, William, and George Creasap. She is survived by 2 daughters and a son; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (June) Creasap; sisters-in-law, Mary Driscoll and Marybelle Creasap; brother-in-law, Alva (Elaine) McCoy; sister-in-law, Joy Houser. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. JUDY Carolyn Parker (Cole) Judy, age 68, of Upper Arlington, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2002 at Kobacker House following a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Judy and their children, Steve Judy, Barbara (Tim) McCombs, Dan (Mary) Judy and Susan Cruz; precious grandchildren, Megan and Ben McCombs, Nick and Mike Judy; brothers, Bob (Robin) Cole and David (Janet) Cole; sisters-in-law, Jean (Lee) Tracy and Elaine Hopkins; several nieces and nephews; cousins, Kathy Mitchell, Jean (Frank) Raidl and David Mitchell. Carolyn was a 1951 graduate of North High School and a 1954 graduate of The Ohio State University. Member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and The Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. Carolyn retired following twenty years of service at Highlights for Children magazine, where she served as Director of Telemarketing Sales. Carolyn was a loving and supportive wife to Bill, a wonderful and caring mother to her children and she cherished her grandchildren. She had special relationships with her cousins and friends and she was an inspirational mentor to her associates at Highlights. Carolyn's faith, humor and loving spirit touched her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. KLINE Ralph William "Bill" Kline, age 76, of Columbus, went home to the Lord Saturday, September 14, 2002. Preceded in death by Clarence, Elizabeth and Carroll Kline. Survived by beloved wife of 55 years, Mildred; children, Marilyn Louise Sweeney (Ronald Salyer) and William Lloyd (Anita) Kline; grandchildren, Caroline Louise Sweeney, Chuck (Michelle) Kline, Jamie (Stephanie) Kline, Chas and Madison; other family, Bill and Mae McCorkle, Irv and Billie Fisk, Nanci, Amy, Tami, Bill (Roxanne), Rocky, Casey, Sandye (Sergei), Sarah, Bill and Clinton, Jennifer (Bryan) and William. KLINE Suzanne T. Kline, age 65, of Columbus, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at her home. Her father, John L. Stone and her daughter Treesa Miller, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Kline; children, Loretta Backus, Pandora Stollard, Linda Mickey, Lewis Miller Jr., Glenn Miller, James Kline, Darlene Sanfillipo, Joseph Kline, Barbara Maxwell and Kathleen Davis; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Connie and Cindy; brother, Les Stone. LUBOW Diane Infeld Lubow, 70, passed away September 14. Beloved wife of 50 years to Martin; cherished mother of Lauren (Richard Riley) Lubow of Columbus, Alan (Pamela) Lubow of Denver, CO; and devoted Grammie to Mark, Eric and Neil Riley. No words can express how much she will be missed. Her kindness was only surpassed by her unconditional love for all of her family and many friends. Diane was a Docent for the Columbus Museum of Art for 30 years, where she took special pleasure in touring with children. She lectured for the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Artists-in-the-Schools Program. Diane was a local authority on George Bellows' painting, Faberge's jewelry and Jefferson's architecture, and lectured to nearly 100 civic, professional, religious, educational and art groups. She was an active member of the Ohio State University Women's Club, and was Program Chairman for the Art and Literature groups. In May 2002, Diane was awarded the UWC's first Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her work. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. PRICE Russell G. Price, 94, of Springfield, Oh., passed away Saturday, September 14, 2002 in Mercy Medical Center. The legacy began on July 29, 1908 in Springfield, Oh., when George Russell Price was born to Joseph and Fannie (Strong) Price. Russell was affectionately known as Paw-Paw, Uncle Russell, and "Price". Russell was always a hard worker, motivator, counselor and most of all a great provider for his family and friends. In December 1928 he wed Sarah Rankin and of this blessed union their only child Georgia Eileen Price Staples was born. Russell was self-employed as a concrete contractor, proprietor of Price Cleaners, The Smoke Shop and The Guy Hotel. He was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. He served in U.S. Army during WW II, American Legion Post 0125, George P. Duewson Elks Lodge 1629, 15 Gentleman Card Clubs and an original member of the Strivers Social Clubs, 1927. Survivors include granddaughter, Shari Staples and great-granddaughter, Kendra Staples of Detroit, Mich.; nieces, Fannie Shuford of Dayton, Oh. and Mildred Patton of Cleveland, Oh.; 1 nephew, Otis Dupree of Springfield, Oh.; 1 great-niece, Angela Clark of Columbus, Oh.; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends, including special friends, Ann Holloway and her son, Brian. REINCHELD Chester F. Reincheld, age 80, of Baltimore, died Monday, September 16, 2002 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. He was the former owner operator of the Reincheld Nursing Home, Baltimore. He also was a member of the Drumms Lutheran Church, a former member of the Buckeye Lake Eagles and the Baltimore VFW #3761 and was a volunteer at the Baltimore Museum. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty L. SMECK Harold E. Smeck, 84, of Baltimore, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was retired from Bell Labs as an engineer. He is survived by nephews, Neal (Judy) Smeck and Robert (Cecelia) Smeck; nieces, Karen (Donald) Santore, all of Baltimore and Sharon (Norman) Franke of Lancaster.
