HANNA Mitchell "Mitch" R. Hanna, 43, of Columbus, Oh., died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a professional musician. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Beatty; step-father, Gene Beatty, both of Lancaster; 2 brothers, Lester Hanna of Zanesville and Mark Hanna of Hawthorne, Fla.; sister, Faye Hanna Rowland of Zanesville. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Lancaster, Oh. Burial to follow in Sugar Grove cemetery. LITTLETON Ira James Littleton, age 77, of Columbus, June 9, 2002 at St. Ann's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born March 5, 1925 in Nicolette, W.Va. Served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942-1946, where he supervised loading munitions for overseas. He spent 39 years in the automobile business as a salesman, manager and owner. Member of Mt. Zion Lodge #9 F&AM, Mt. Vernon, Oh. Survived by wife, Cynthia; daughters, Lori (William) Taggart and Toni (Dino) Sara; grandchildren, Katie and Michael Taggart, Katherine, Anna and Dominic Sara; aunt, Vera L. Richards of Columbus. (Sandy) Parker, both of Columbus; daughter, Bette M. (Bill) Gaston, Carroll; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Gertrude McCrakin, Pensville, N.J.; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husbands Steveson R. MORRISON Wilbur H. Morrison, a former longtime resident of Upper Arlington, passed away Friday, June 7, 2002 at First Community Healthcare Center after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. He was born July 21, 1913 in Cheshire, Ohio to Rev. Charles and Myrtle Morrison. A longtime leader in the Central Ohio Savings & Loan industry, he began with the Allemania Building & Loan and served for years as Vice President, then President and Chairman of its successor, Main Federal. At his retirement in 1983, he was Vice Chairman of Freedom Federal, Main Federal's successor. He graduated from Otterbein College, Class of 1934, from where he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1984. He was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. He served as president of the Board of Trustees of Wesley Glen and Central Community House for many years. He was a past president of Southeast Lion's Club, member of West Gate Lodge #623 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, and Aladdin Shrine Temple. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Nichols and Ruth Johnson. Wilbur is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne Morrison; son, Thomas (Sarah) Morrison of Weston, CT; daughter, Diane Stanley of Worthington, OH; grandchildren, Michael (Wendy), Matthew, and Chas Morrison, and Jason, Sara, and Molly Stanley; great granddaughter, Isabella Morrison; brother, Charles (Jeane) Morrison of Ironton, OH; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 3-7 pm Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. NETTING Faye B. Netting, age 87, Sunday, June 9, 2002, St. Ann's Hospital. 30 year member of Salvation Army Pontiac Corps and member of Jersey Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Max Netting, three sisters of whom one was her twin. Survived by son, Kenneth (Margaret) Netting; grandson, Joseph (Ginny) Netting; granddaughter, Kendra Netting; great-granddaughters, Brittany Netting and Megan Doyle; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. NOGAWICK Jeffrey F. Nogawick, age 57, suddenly Sunday, June 9, 2002 at Liberty Hill Farms, Glouster, Oh. Retired as Chief, Office of Real Estate and Land Management, Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Preceded in death by father Clovis Nogawick. Survived by wife, Phyllis; son, Trevor (Amanda); mother, Beatrice; sister, Kathleen Engler, Fla.; brother, James (Sue) of Ashville; mother and father-in-law, Angelica and Howard Davis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet and Dwight Adkins; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, wonderful friends, neighbors, as well as his loyal and faithful companions, Jenny and John Henry. Jeff loved: the outdoors, especially during the fall and winter, his tree farm, planting trees and watching them grow, gardening, fishing, cooking, walking the dogs and taking them for rides, feeding the birds ("they count on me"), "dumb" movies and all animals. REAPER Martha Irene Reaper, age 77, of Columbus, died Sunday, June 9, 2002 at Arlington Court Nursing Home. She retired from White Castle System after 23 years of service and was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Reaper and brothers Worthy, Joe and Virgil Denny. Her survivors include her loving son, Robert J. (Sally) Reaper of Columbus; granddaughter, Mindy (Ken) Kirby of Delaware; grandson, Robert B. Reaper of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Haley, Rachael and Cole Kirby; brother, Stanley (Faye) Denny of Columbus; sister, Ruth Culberson of Newark, Oh.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was a member of Maize Road Baptist Church. RYAN Mary Jo (Cline) Ryan, age 76, Sunday, June 9, 2002 in the Kobacker House Hospice at Riverside Hospital. Born September 23, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert R. and Julia A. Cline. Mrs. Ryan graduated from St. Aloysius Grade School, St. Joseph Academy High School and The Ohio State University (BA Ed). She was an elementary school teacher and cadet Principal in the Columbus Public Schools and later was Principal of St. Michael School in Worthington for 15 years. She also served as a member of the Advisory Board of St. Charles Preparatory School in Columbus. Mrs. Ryan leaves her husband of 46 years, Thomas J. Ryan; children, Jay (Teri) Ryan of Columbus, Julie Ryan (Tim) Tennyson of Birmingham, Ala., Joan Ryan (Regis) Hudock of Columbus, Jonathan (Gail) Ryan of Naperville, Ill.; grandchildren, Jason, Michael and Jimmy Ryan of Columbus and Jonathan Biles of Birmingham, Ala.; brother, Robert G. (Irene) Cline of Overland Park, Kans.; numerous nieces and nephews, family, friends and hundreds of former students.
