BIRO Charles Robert Biro, age 55, died Monday, May 13, 2002 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a long battle with leukemia. Born in Cleveland, OH, a graduate of O.S.U. with a B.A. in Geology and a B.S. in Education, he attained the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a Mathematics/Earth Science/Computer Science teacher at Walnut Springs Middle School for 26 years, retiring in 2001. Member of Westerville Model Airplane Assoc., Ham Radio Operator N8MVT, the New Albany Shooting Range, and lifetime member of the Walnut Springs Fishing Club. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Bertha. Survived by wife, Rebecca Smith Biro; sons, Charles (Cathy) and Robert; granddaughters, Rachael and Danielle; brothers, Ronald (Roberta) and Thomas (Debra); sister, Jane (Neil) Funk; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Quinn Smith; many other relatives, friends and countless grateful students. BLEVINS Bethel Marie Blevins, age 77, of Jersey Township, went to meet her Lord Monday, May 13, 2002. Former teacher in Webbville, KY, longtime member of the Clover Valley Chapel. CURNUTTE Thomas A. Curnutte, 46, of Grove City, died unexpectedly at home Monday May 13, 2002. He was a 1974 graduate of Grove City High School. Preceded in death by brother Darrell Ray Curnutte. ENGLISH Evelyn L. English, 78, of Holiday, Fla., formerly of Columbus, Oh., died May 14, 2002. She was born in Grafton, W.Va. on July 13, 1923, the daughter of John F. Dunnington and Florence C. McFarling Dunnington. She was the wife of Lawrence (Larry) English. She was the Secretary and a member of Indianola Church of Christ retiring in 1979 when she moved to Treasure Island, Fla. Survivors include her husband; 1 son, John (Nancy) English of Columbus, Oh.; 1 daughter, Joan (Donald) Gray of New Port Richey, Fla.; 2 sisters, Martha Lee Cassell and Catherine Kisor, both of Ironton, Oh.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons. Service will be held at Sunshine Christian Home, Holiday, Fla. on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Florida National cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. GOFF Dallas W. Goff, 86, died on May 12, 2002 in New Jersey, following a short illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2002 at the West Mansfield United Methodist Church. Born in Broadway, Oh., he was a partner-manager of C.H. Goff and Sons Lumber Company in West Mansfield, before moving to Fla. in 1956. Later Mr. Goff was an owner and manager of motels and gift shops in Fla., Ga. and Wis. He and his wife, the former Ann Keeney, retired to Tampa in 1978. Following her death in 1981, he resided in Mexico, Tampa and Orlando. He is survived by sons, Myron, N.J., Ronald, Atlanta, Gary, Brooklyn; daughter, Teresa Jesse, Mosinee, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Drell, Zanesville and Delphos, West Mansfield. HOLLIGER Reeda Holliger, age 99, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at Arlington Court Nursing Home. She was born July 2, 1902 in Peoria IL, the daughter of Helena and Thomas Eibeck. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years George H. (Pat) Holliger, her older sisters Nora and Myrtle and her son-in-law Gerald F. Landholt, Sr. Survived by her daughter, Patricia Landholt of Columbus; son, Thomas (Dr. Yolanda) Holliger of Wayne NJ; grandchildren, Julie Landholt, Gregory (Teresa) Landholt, both of Columbus, Thomas (Cynthia) Landholt, Rochester, MI, Patrick (Loretta) Landholt, San Diego, CA, Gerald (Gloria) Landholt Jr., San Bruno, CA, Michele (Bill) Betz, Maureen (Keith) Karsen, both of Wayne, NJ, Aileen (Frank) Lange, Lincoln Park, NJ, Rosemarie (Brian) Costello, Edmond, OK, Thomas (Michelle) Holliger, West Palm Beach, FL and Michael Holliger, Denver CO; 24 great-grandchildren. She lived most of her life in Illinois before retiring to Florida with her husband in 1963, where she was a member of St. Jude's Cathedral in St. Petersburg, and the former Bath Club on Reddington Beach.
