HILL Mr. Joseph P. Hill Jr., age 54, resident of Bartow, Ga., died Monday at his residence. Mr. Hill was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. and had lived in Columbus, Oh. for many years before moving to Bartow 10 years ago. He was owner of S.T.S., Inc. and the Spotted Dog Antique Store in Bartow. Mr. Hill was a member of the Bartow Volunteer Fire Department, The Bartow Schoolhouse Players, the Bartow Community Club and also was a train enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph P. Hill Sr., sports commentator for W.L.W.C. Radio in Columbus, Oh. for 35 years. Funeral service for Mr. Hill will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Bartow United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Howell and Hubert Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Bartow City cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of Bartow Volunteer Fire Department.
