Vaughn Miller
EDGERTON - Vaughn A. Miller, 79, Edgerton, died at 8:25 p.m. Monday in Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton after an extended illness.
He was born March 20, 1921, in Edgerton, the son of Walter and Grace (Haddix) Miller. In 1945, he married Betty Upp, who survives. A World War II Air Force veteran, he served two years stateside prior to serving with the 8th and 9th Air Force divisions in England and France where he was a mechanic crew chief for fighter planes. He was an operator and partner of Casebere Motors' auto body shop in Edgerton for 50 years, retiring in 1983, and a member of Edgerton Rotary, Edgerton Development Corp., John D. Smith American Legion Post 10 and Edgerton United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are two sons, Kim of New Haven, Ind., and Greg, Boulder, Colo.; two sisters, Wayva Steele of Northville, Mich., and Neva Criswell, Bryan; and two grandsons.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Marvin; and a sister, Marvel Auten.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Rev. James Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, with
military rites conducted by John D. Smith American Legion Post 10. Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to Edgerton Area Foundation or the church.

Rev. Robert George
NORTH CANTON - Rev. Robert A. George, 85, North Canton, died Saturday in Mercy Medical Center, North Canton.
He was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Mechanicstown, the son of William and Elizabeth (Adams) George. His wife, Christine, died in 1960. His wife, Jane, died in 1998. He attended Mt. Union College, Graduate of School of Applied Religion, Bexley Hall Seminary, Union Theological Seminary and Fellow College of Preachers. He served at parishes in Galion, Shelby and Akron and was chaplain of the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a rector at Grace Church in Defiance from 1946-1950 and in Ashtabula and Sandusky, a canon in Washington, D.C. and served as pastoral assistant in Toledo after his retirement in 1983.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Jane) Schutrum, North Canton; a sister, Elizabeth Larson, Willowick; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Canton, with Rt. Rev. Arthur Williams and Rev. Zev Rosenberg officiating. There will be no visitation.
Preferred memorials are to Mt. Union College Library, Alzheimer's Foundation or any of his parishes.

Mary Ann Hobbs
PAULDING - Mary Ann Hobbs, 93, Paulding, died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.
She was born Feb. 25, 1907, in Paulding County, the daughter of John and Sarah (Burrows) Hostettler. In 1933, she married Melvin Hobbs, who died in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, Paulding.
Surviving is a sister, Sarah Parcher, Defiance.
Also preceding her in death were eight brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. Burial will be in Paulding Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday.
Preferred memorials are to Dallas Lamb Foundation Home or the church's building fund.

Paul Campbell
BRYAN - Paul Herschel Campbell, 89, Bryan, died Thursday in Community Hospital Williams County-Bryan.
He was born Sept. 3, 1911, in Bruceville, Ind., the son of J.Y. and Dlinger Campbell. In 1933, he married Iva Mock, who survives. He was a machinist at the Aro Corp., Bryan, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan and a former member of Bryan Moose Lodge 1064.
Also surviving are two sons, Ted of Columbus, Ind., and Tom, Mill Valley, Calif.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Dwight Bower officiating. Burial will be in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation is from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today.
Preferred memorials are to Williams County Senior Center.

Mary Boggs
CONTINENTAL - Mary Esther Boggs, 94, Continental, died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday in Paradise Oaks Quality Care Center, Cloverdale.
She was born June 26, 1906, in Continental, the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Castle) Wing. In 1935, she married Lloyd Boggs, who died in 1986. She retired as a cafeteria worker from Continental Local Schools.
Surviving is a sister, Ruth Shire, Continental.
Also preceding her in death were six brothers, Dan, Ross, Shell, Charles, Ralph and Cloyd Wing; and a sister, Pearl Bonecutter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, with Rev. Bruce Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.

Ronald Ludeman
NAPOLEON - Ronald (Lude) J. Ludeman, 64, Napoleon, died Wednesday evening in Henry County Hospital, Napoleon.
He was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Napoleon, the son of Herschall and Erma (Overhulse) Ludeman. A U.S. Army veteran, he worked for Gerken Paving and Material Co., Napoleon, for more than 30 years. He was a member of Whitehouse American Legion Post 384 and AMVETS Post 1313, Napoleon.
Surviving are a son, Chad, Whitehouse; two daughters, Davi Hitt of Napoleon and Mrs. Brad (Tina) Kanary, Toledo; three sisters, Connie Holers of Quitman, La., and Suzi Slight and Barb Bockelman, both of Napoleon; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Lester.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Chaplain George Willis officiating. Burial will be in Hoy Cemetery, Harrison Township, with
military honors conducted by American Legion Post 384. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today.
Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association's Henry County chapter, Henry County Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.

Lenora Sehlmeyer
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lenora Sehlmeyer, 70, North Fort Myers, died Tuesday in her home.
She was born May 6, 1930, in Hamler, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Badenhop) Dachenhaus. In 1951, she married Walter Sehlmeyer, who died in 1971. In 1974, she married Ernest Sehlmeyer, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Robert, Daniel and Steven, all of Napoleon, Michael of Marion, James of Westchester and Todd, Sherwood; a daughter, Debra Armey, Napoleon; a stepson, Rick; a brother, Leonard Dachenhaus, Napoleon; two sisters, Loretta Meyer and Irene Glore, both of Hamler; and 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Eldon Dachenhaus; and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, with Revs. Norman Koy and Peter Marcis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice of Lee County, Fla.; American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
