LARKIN Martha (Snowden) Larkin, age 60, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at Kobacker House. She is preceded in death by her parents J. Raymond and Irene Snowden, stepmother and beloved friend Rosemary H. Snowden. A 1958 graduate of North High School, Martha was a long standing member of the Lutheran Faith. Prior to becoming disabled in 1983, she was employed by John T. Cantlon & Assoc. She is survived by devoted husband of over 28 years, Curt; daughters, Lori (Chris) Beiser, Kathleen Tyrer, Connie (Chris) Konieczny; son, Gregory (Jenny) Woolpert; loving step-sister, Judy Doucette. Besides her own children, Martha's life was blessed by 3 step-sons, Mark A. (Rita), Christopher (Karen) and Matthew J. Larkin. Also, 2 step-daughters, Amy (Eric) Lindholm, Lisa (John) Walker. She leaves 6 granddaughters and 7 grandsons. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2001. Rev. Dr. William Snider officiating. Entombment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Hospice at Riverside and Grant, 3535 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Oh. 43214.

MARTIN Marguerette Martin, age 82, of Columbus, Monday, March 19, 2001 at Broadview Health Center. Preceded in death by husband Kenneth W., parents Edward and Anna Hodge, brother Elden Hodge, sister Lota Eddy. Survived by children, Madeline Sue Crew of Westerville, Oh., Gary Lee Martin of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Sean Martin of Ontario, Canada, Eric Crew of Cleveland, Oh. and Stephanie Crew Howey of Delaware, Oh.; great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Graveside service and burial will be held Saturday 11:30 a.m. at Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett, Oh. Rev. Jeff Adkins officiating.

MEDLEY Joan Marie (Shawver) Medley, age 38, of Clayton, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. She was a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree and had participated in the Ohio State Golf Program. She was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church in Englewood and had been active in the United Methodist Women and as chairperson of the annual golf outing. She was a member of the Logan County Geneology Society, and volunteered with Northwood Elementary and the Ohio Reads Program. She is survived by her husband, James Howard Medley, Jr.; sons, James "Jimmy" H. Medley III, Joshua Medley and Jacob Medley, all at home; father and mother, Roy W. and Mary L. (Scott) Shawver Jr. of Huntsville, Oh.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Jane Shawver-Jones and Thomas Anderson III of Columbus, Oh., Amy L. and Alan Sullivan Jr. of Huntsville, Oh.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James H. and Lois M. Medley of Cadiz, Oh.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Barbara Medley of Jewett, Oh.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jami L. and Brian Heavilin of Hopedale, Oh.; 6 nephews; 2 nieces; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 26 at the Concord United Methodist Church, 1123 S. Main St., Englewood, Oh. with Rev. Kathy Brown officiating. Interment will be at the Concord Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday at the KINDRED FUNERAL HOME, 400 Union Blvd., Englewood, Oh. MOORE Kevin D. Moore, Sr., born March 11, 1970, passed away March 20, 2001. Employed at Discover Card for 6 years. Preceded in death by grandfather Rufus Moore and grandmother Eleanor Bates. Survived by son, Kevin Jr.; parents, Harvey "Mitch" and Loretta Moore; brothers, Kenneth Bates Sr. (children, Kenneth, Jr. and Jason Bates) and Derek Moore, Sr. (children, Derek, Jr., Kendra, Sherease and Nigeria Moore); grandmother, Gladys Moore; aunt, Lois Rutherford; dear friend, Shawn Moore; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service Saturday 10 a.m. at New Birth Chrisitan Ministries, 3599 Refugee Rd., where the family will receive friends 9 a.m. until start of service. Elder Kenneth Moore officiating. McCOY Rhoda Marie McCoy, age 88, Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Doctors Hospital West. Preceded in death by parents A.J. and Mary Mae (West) McCoy, brothers H.E. Finn, D.R. McCoy and Al McCoy. Survived by brother, Eugene J. McCoy; sister, Allie A. (Ernest) Keller; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday. Rev. Dale Legg officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.

ORTHWEIN Elaine S. Orthwein, age 69, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Kobacker House. She graduated and received her Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University. She was a retired librarian with the Columbus Public Library System. Elaine was an avid bird watcher and member of the Ohio Bluebird Society, The Nature Conservancy of Arlington, Virginia, The Columbus Audubon Society and The Sierra Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Orthwein in 1999 and her father Leonard G. Stegailov. Elaine is survived by her mother, Mary Stegailov; sister, Noreen (John) Metzger, both of Ocala, FL; nieces, Karen (Richard) Lee of Danville, CA, Kathleen (Carl) Gotzmer of Accokeek, MD, Karol (Dennis) Toudouze of San Antonio, TX; great-niece and great-nephew. A private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Contributions may be made to the Ohio Bluebird Society, 20680 Township Rd. 120, Senecaville, Ohio 43780 in her memory.

PRICE Ruth Price, age 72, died February 2, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by the JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St.

RAINEY Harold Marsh Rainey, 75, of Trimble, Oh., died March 21, 2001 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Logan. Born February 23, 1926 in Trimble, son of the late Harvey T. and Armol Cobb Rainey. Owner of the former Rainey Fabrication Co. Inc. in Trimble. U.S. Army Air Force WW II veteran. Survived by son, Jonathan (Teresa) Rainey of Trimble; daughters, Mrs. Randy (Amy) Riley, Mrs. John (Martha) Wright and Mrs. Randy (Mary Jane) Hooper, all of Glouster; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Medrith Jarvis of Gahanna. Preceded in death by 1st wife Ruth Rainey, granddaughter Christine Rainey, brother Donald Marsh Rainey and sisters Thelma Flemming and Dorothy Rainey. Visitation Friday from 4-8 p.m. at CARDARAS FUNERAL HOME, Glouster, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with John Wright officiating. Burial Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. military Graveside Service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. ROBERTSON Enos Robertson, age 86, of Westerville, Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Retired Coal Miner and from United McGill Corp. in Westerville. Member of Columbus United Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son Jim Robertson. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Hazel R.; children, Ron (Luann) Robertson, Gaye (Nick) Copley, Gilbert (Sandy) Robertson, Sandy (Jim) Smith, Richard (Mary) Robertson, Judy (Jack) Johnson and Vickie (Brett) Ivan; daughter-in-law, Pat Robertston; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 2 brothers, Carl of W.Va. and Marlin of N.C.; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father John A. Sartori; mother, Leona Gruber. Survived by loving mother, Philomena Sartori; loving brothers, John P. (Patty), Richard, Joe, Bill, Ed, Pete (Debbie); loving sister, Doris (Gary) Lyon; nieces, Teresa, Kim, Ronda; nephews, John, Matthew, and Michael; longtime companion, Barbara Reed; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, and friends. SHEETS Bruce W. Sheets, 34, of Washington C.H., died 3:33 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Carlton Manor. Born August 28, 1966 in Columbus, Oh., the son of Frederick Lee and Sherry Ann (Chatto) Sheets. Preceded in death by mother Sherry Sheets, brother Brian Sheets and sister Kimberly Ann Sheets. Survived by daughter, Tiffany Sheets of Reynoldsburg; father, Frederick Sheets of Kirkersville; uncles, Edward and Michael Sheets; aunt, Sally Sheets Lechler; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 26 at Rose Hill Church of Christ, 9150 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. Rev. Wm. Hunt officiating. MORROW FUNERAL HOME, Washington C.H., is serving the family.

SMITH Jack Smith, formerly of Muirkirk Dr., Dublin, Oh., died Thursday at Salem Community Hospital in Salem, Oh. Mr. Smith was Park Recreation Director for the City of Dublin for 10 years retiring in 1998. Graduate of The Ohio State University, 1948. Survived by wife, Marilyn. STERLING Betty J. Sterling, age 80, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Betty was a devoted and faithful member of the Grove City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She retired from Kroger Bakery and is a graduate of West High School. Preceded in death by husband Harry L. Sterling, parents Warren and Mildred (Smith) Strayer, brother Robert Strayer. Survived by daughter, Janet (Todd) Carter of Orient; son, Hank (Sally) Sterling of Grove City; grandchildren, Austin Carter, Erik and Stacie Widner. Visitation Friday from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Mike Comston officiating. Interment in Concord Cemetery. THOMSON Helen (Ufferman) Thomson, 62, of Delaware, Vice-President of the Delaware Gazette Co., died Thursday, March 22, 2001 in Cottonwood, Ariz. A 25 year employee of The Delaware Co. Fair, she and her husband, W.D. "Tom" Thomson, were "goodwill" ambassadors for the Little Brown Jug. She is survived by her husband of 42 years; 2 daughters, Chriss (Bill) Cawley of Delaware, Cheryl (Tom) Wright of Powell; 2 sons, H.C. "Chip" (Margaret O.) Thomson III and Thomas Thurman "T" (Lisa L.) Thomson, all of Delaware; 3 sisters, Carolyn (Gerry) Stobby of SC, Flora (Ray) Norris of Dayton, Lois (Bob) Maxwell of Ark.; 2 brothers, Bill (Carol) Ufferman of NC, Dr. Robert (Judy) Ufferman of Fla.; sister-in-law, Mary Ufferman of Delaware; and 10 grandchildren, Hunter, Madison, and Mackenzie Wright, Clay, Susan, and Helen Thomson, Mary Kathryn and Cheryl Cawley, and Zachary and Sarah Thomson.
