Rebecca J. "Becky" Marks Burnett, 26, of 23 Chestnut St., Phoenix, died Wednesday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Clay. She was born in Oswego. She was a production technician at Specialized Packing Radisson for five years. Her father, Joseph L. Marks, died in 1984.Survivors: Her fiance, Paul D. Dommer; two sons, Robert J. and Brandon L., both of Phoenix; her mother, Harriett Marks of Phoenix; two sisters, Leslie Halstead of Fulton and Cherrie Carauna of Phoenix. The Rev. J. Michael Carney, 58, of Utica died Wednesday. Born in Utica, he lived at Tommy Coyne Residence at Dillon Hall in Syracuse a year before moving back to Utica this summer. He graduated from Resurrection College and Christ the King Seminary. He was ordained in 1970 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse. He retired in 2000 after 30 years and had served at churches including Our Lady of Good Counsel in Sylvan Beach and St. John's in North Bay. He was a member of Broadway Theatre League and the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.Survivor: A sister, Joan Capanna of Marble Dale, Conn. Joyce A. Miller Curry, 65, of 109 Southwest Way, Camillus, died Thursday. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she lived in Binghamton five years before moving to Camillus in 1963. She attended Niagara University. She retired in 2000 from human relations at P&C Foods after more than 20 years. Richard J. Kash, 58, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday. He was born in Brooklyn. He was an Air Force master sergeant stationed at Hancock Field with the 174th Fighter Wing for 20 years and was a member of the 174th Fighter Wing Base Honor Guard. He retired from the New York State Parkway Police in 1979 and was a member of the Retired Police Association. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse. A son, William R., died in 2001.

Yolanda Tamburo Murphy, 93, of 85 Thornton Ave., Auburn, died Wednesday at Auburn Nursing Home. She was a life resident of Auburn. She was a telephone operator at the former Firth Carpet Co. in Auburn for many years. She was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church and a former member of Lions Club Auxiliary. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for many years. Henry F. Reid, 72, of East Syracuse died Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Pearl River before moving to the Syracuse area in 1994. He retired in 1985 from Otis Elevator Co. in New York City after 33 years and was a member of Elevator Construction Union Local 1 in New York City. He was a member of DeWitt Community Church and Naurashank Lodge 723 Free & Accepted Masons. He was a Navy veteran.Survivors: His wife of 51 years, Edna L.; two daughters, Kristine Swain of New Milford, N.J., and Linda Schellinger of Fayetteville; two grandchildren. He retired in 1966 as a field agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Syracuse after 25 years and was then security manager at Bristol Laboratories until 1980. He attended The Church of St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus. He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI.
