Palmyra, NY / Cromwell, CT - passed away unexpectedly at the age of 29 on August 24, 2005. Dave was a graduate of Palmyra Macedon Central School & received his Bachelor's Degree from RIT. He was employed at Norampac in Cromwell, CT. David loved life; his great spirit, loyalty & integrity leave a legacy that will be forever remembered by his family & friends. VerHow, Susan Marie (Brownell)

MACEDON - Went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, August 1, 2005 at home after a courageous battle against cancer. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Avis Brownell (Kirkville, NY). Survived by her husband, Richard C. and faithful sons, Pieter B. and Jonathan E.; sister Sally (David) Bakker (Central Square); brother David (Linda) Brownell (Kirkville); step-mother Phyllis (Matteson) Brownell (Chittenango); sisters-in-law Nancy (Thomas) Dummer, Patricia (Richard) Killinger; father/mother-in-law Elwyn and Esther VerHow; nephew and niece Joseph and Rebecca Killinger; and other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in our Lord.
Susan M. was a 1968 graduate of Chittenango, a 1980 graduate of Upstate Medical Center with a B.S. in Respiratory Therapy. Susan was director of the Respiratory Care Dept. of Newark-Wayne Community Hospital for many years, and continued her work in the field. She was active at Perinton Community Church, before which she served as pianist and choir director at First Baptist Church of Palmyra. Susan was an active supporter of various missionary groups.
Friends and relatives are welcome to call Friday August 5th from 2–4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Payne & Murphy Funeral Home, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY. Funeral Service to be held Saturday August 6th at 11:00 am at Perinton Community Church, 636 High Street Extension Fairport, NY.

A World War II army veteran, he co-owned & operated Palmyra Creamery until 1984. He was also an active volunteer for Palmyra Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, Newark Wayne Hospital, DeMay Living Center, We Care Transportation and was a longtime member of the Palmyra First United Methodist Church.
