She was a special education teacher in the Auburn school district. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Moravia. Survivors: A daughter, Diane Lidell of Cortland; a sister, Miriam VanDuyne of Virginia; three brothers, Clarence and David Hall, both of Moravia, and Emmett Hall of Locke; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church, 46 N. Main St., Cortland. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Moravia. The family will greet friends at the family home following the burial. Irene Rowell, 93, of Bennett's Bridges, Orwell, died Tuesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego. Born in Orwell, she attended schools in Ricard and had also lived in Pulaski and Altmar. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Nelson H., died in 1967. Survivors: Several nieces and nephews. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Fairview Cemetery. Edward H. Seaman, 75, of state Route 11, Central Square, died Tuesday. Born in Utica, he lived in Central Square since 1961. He retired in 1989 as a machinist for Carrier Corp. after 35 years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers union. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Survivors: His wife of 46 years, the former Dorothy Johnson; a daughter, Deborah Lloyd of Constantia; a son, Edward C. of Cleveland; a sister, Doris Mazi of Cleveland; four grandchildren. Daniel F. Simonson, 80, of 4774 Salina St., Pulaski, died Tuesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home in Oswego. Born in Milwaukee, he lived in Mexico four years before moving to Pulaski in 1978. He graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee. He retired in 1975 from Pfister & Vogel Tannery in Milwaukee after 33 years. He was a member of St. Johns the Evangelist Church, Robert Edwards Post 358 American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289, all in Pulaski. He was a member of Bernard Gregg Knights of Columbus Council 5606. He was pharmacist mate in the Navy during World War II. Survivors: His wife of 57 years, the former Regena J. Clemons; a daughter, Sue Ann Simonson of Oswego; a son, John F. of Clintonville, Wis.; a grandson. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Pulaski Cemetery. Bertha A. Martin Solosky, 57, of Johnny Cake Hill Road, Victory, died Monday. Born in Syracuse, she lived there until moving to Victory eight years ago. A daughter, Lori Seeber, died in May. Ruth C. Tomachesky, 83, of Colchester, Vt., died Tuesday. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she graduated from Lockport High School and SUNY Morrisville. She lived in East Syracuse until moving to Colchester 3½ years ago. She was a violinist and played with the Lockport Symphony and Concert orchestras and as a soloist. She had worked for L.C. Smith Typewriter Co. and Sears Roebuck Co. She had been a cadet leader with the Girl Scouts in East Syracuse. Her husband of 55 years, Dan, died earlier this year. Survivor: A sister, Gladys Severance of Colchester. Graveside services: Will be in Colchester. Corbin and Palmer, Burlington, Vt., has arrangements.
