Anna Ruscitto Kutzera, 93, of Syracuse died Sunday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she had worked for Cohen and Goldman clothiers, Cathedral Candle Co. and Julius Resnick Co. She was a member of St. Anthony Society and a senior citizen member of St. John the Baptist Church. Her husband, John, died in 1968. Survivors: Several nieces and nephews. Raymond A. Lemke, 88, of Jamesville, died Saturday. He was born in Syracuse. He worked for Crucible Specialty Metals for 38 years and retired in 1976. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Jamesville. He was a member of Southwood Volunteer Fire Department and a league bowler at Phols Bowling Center. He was an Army veteran of World War II. M. J. "Jean" Finn McLaughlin, 90, of 401 Breakspear Road, Westvale, died Monday. Born in Watervliet, she has lived in Westvale for 50 years. She graduated from Cobleskill High School and Child's Hospital School of Nursing, Albany. She was a homemaker. She worked as an operating room nurse at the former Child's Hospital, Albany, in the 1930s. Her husband, William J., died in 1971. Survivors: Four daughters, Mary Jane McLaughlin of Westvale, Myra E. Wine of Ridgway, Colo., Karen A. Marsch of Whitesboro and Patricia J. Born in Elbridge, she was a past member of the New Hope Rebecca Lodge, a member of the New Hope Senior Citizens Club and she taught Sunday School at the Dutch Reformed Church in Owasco. Her husband, George, died in 1994. Tony Ori, 75, of West Palm, Fla., died June 23. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Syracuse until moving to West Palm three years ago. He was an organist and owned four restaurants over the years, the Tropics on South Avenue, Ori's in Geddes Plaza, the Tea House in Syracuse and Il Padrino on Spencer Street. He was a former communicant of St. Michael's Church on Onondaga Hill and a Navy veteran of World War II. Nellie R. "Mag" Pearson, 86, of 52 Hong Kong Road, Parish, died Saturday. Born in Pulaski, she had lived in Nedrow and Pulaski before moving to Parish 38 years ago. She graduated from Pulaski High School. She retired in 1981 from the accounting department at University Hospital after 20 years. She was a soloist at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Syracuse, performed in operettas for the Syracuse Berwald Concert Singers and was an organist at Dugway Methodist Church. Survivors: Her husband of 37 years, Rick; a son, Lil' Blue of Parish; three sisters, Orla Skinner of Pulaski, Laura James of Syracuse and Anna Mae Reed of Tully. John "Jack" Putaski, 74, of 2018 Carrollton, Texas, died Saturday of cancer. Born in Oneida, he lived in Sherrill until moving to Carrollton this spring. He graduated from Sherrill High School. He retired in 1989 as a supervisor for Oneida Ltd. in Sherrill after 45 years. He was a 50-year member of Sherrill American Legion Post 230. He was a member of New York State Police Chiefs Benevolent Association, United States Trotting Association and Harness Horse Association of Central New York. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. His wife, the former Anne Walker, died May 7. Survivors: A daughter, Cheryl Carlson of Carrollton; a son, Kelly of Bradley Beach, N.J.; three sisters, Anna Mae Tooke and Donna Watts, both of Sherrill, and Sally Tifft of Clockville; two brothers, Ronald of Utica and Donald of Vernon; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren. He retired in 1970 as proprietor of Margolis Dry Goods in Brooklyn after 32 years. He was past president of Kings Highway Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of International Order of Oddfellows Maimonides Lodge in Brooklyn and Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas. His wife, Bertie, died in 1995.
