Elizabeth M. Morehouse
GANSEVOORT - A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Morehouse, who was a dispatcher for the Saratoga Springs Emergency Corps for several years. Mrs. Morehouse, 70, formerly of Route 50, died Wednesday at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home in Fort Edward.
Born in Corinth, Mrs. Morehouse lived in Gansevoort for many years.
She was a former Harrison Avenue resident of Glens Falls.
She was a charter member of Wilton Emergency Corps.
Mrs. Morehouse was a graduate of Pinecrest Bible College and was an ordained Pentecostal minister.
She was a member of the Hudson Falls Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Morehouse was the widow of LeRoy T. Morehouse who died in 1991.
Survivors include a son, Minard L. Morehouse of Hickory, N.C.; a daughter, Cynthia A. Ali of Newfield, N.J.; two brothers, Stanley Wayne Nichols of Florida and Walter E. Mason Jr. of Greenfield Center; and three grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to charity of choice.

Harriet Tyrrell
GLOVERSVILLE - Mrs. Harriet Dorn Harvey Tyrrell, 99, who did general and private duty nursing at Nathan Littauer Hospital, died Wednesday at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility, where she was a resident for three years.
Born in Madrid, N.Y., Mrs. Tyrrell was educated in Johnstown schools.
For 20 years, she lived at Beacon Woods in Hudson, Florida, returning to Gloversville in 1992.
Mrs. Tyrrell was a registered nurse, graduating from Nathan Littauer School of Nursing in 1923.
For 13 years, she was a visiting nurse for John Hancock Insurance Co.
Her husband, H. Lyndon Harvey, whom she married October 20, 1924, died in 1968.
She was to married Lewis R. Tyrrell on Nov. 15, 1972. He died in 1992.
Mrs. Tyrrell was a member of the New Port Richey United Methodist Church in New Port Richey, Fla.
She was a member of the Christian Women's Club of New Port Richey.
Mrs. Tyrrell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gloversville; Cayadutta Chapter 166 Order of the Eastern Star; and the Nathan Littauer Hospital Alumnae Association.
She was a member of the Civic Association, Travel Club, and the Shuffle Club, all of Beacon Woods.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Elizabeth Hoagboon of Gloversville, Bridget L. Hoagboon of Tucson, Ariz. and Melinda Sheyon of Scotia; three grandsons, James R. Hoagboon of Mayfield, John Harvey of Gloversville and James Harvey of Connecticut; and three great-granddaughters.
There are no services or calling hours.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Nathan Littauer Hospital Building Fund.

Helen McGee Myers
RENSSELAER - Mrs. Helen J. McGee Myers, who was a weaver for Albany International Felt Co. for 25 years, died Wednesday at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, after a long illness. Mrs. Myers, of Fourth Avenue, was 52.
Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Myers lived in Rensselaer for the past 33 years.
Mrs. Myers was a communicant of St. John's Church.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond G. Myers; two sons, Richard R. and Marc Steven Myers, both of Rensselaer; her father, Edward McGee Sr. of Selkirka; sister, Florence Entrott of Selkirk; two brothers, Edward McGee Jr. of Castleton and Robert McGee of Rensselaer; and two grandchildren.
A service will be held at noon Saturday at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave.
Burial will be in New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jean Newhouse
BALLSTON LAKE - A private service will be held for Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Wallace Newhouse, 82, of Saratoga Care Nursing Home, who died Thursday at the residence after a short illness.
Born in Glens Falls, Mrs. Newhouse was a graduate of Glens Falls High School.
She moved to Scotia as a young adult, living there for 25 years.
Mrs. Newhouse then lived in Ballston Lake for 30 years.
She was a resident of Saratoga Care since 1998.
Mrs. Newhouse was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Scotia.
Her husband, Robert M. Newhouse, whom she married in 1940, died in 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Sullivan of Ballston Lake; two sons, John R. Newhouse of Rochester and Mark Newhouse of Galway; a sister, Jo-Ann Holland of Granville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in Alphonsus Cemetery, Queensbury.

Nancy Wagoner
STILLWATER - Mrs. Nancy I. Wagoner, who was a private-duty nurse for many years, died Thursday at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Wagoner, of Waterwood Apartments, was 60.
Mrs. Wagoner was born in Jonesville. She was a longtime resident of Stillwater.
She retired in 1985.
She was a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Arnold of Columbia, S.C., and Katherine Wagoner of Saratoga Springs; her father, Edward R. Millington of Jonesville; four brothers, Edward R. Millington Jr. of Clifton Park, Gordon A. Millington of Ballston Spa, William R. Millington of Elnora and Carl J. Millington of Mechanicville; a sister, Susan Price of Texas; and four grandchildren.
A service will be held at noon Monday at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park.
Burial will be in Jonesville Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Robert J. Smith
COLONIE - Robert J. Smith, 61, of Virginia Avenue, died Thursday at St. Peter's Hospital after being stricken.
Born in Colonie, Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident.
He was a member of Colonie Central High School's first graduating class.
Mr. Smith also graduated from Hudson Valley Community College.
He was a retiree of Operating Engineers Local 545D in Albany. He had been a surveyor with the local since 1964.
Mr. Smith was married to Barbara J. Smith for 41 years until her death.
Survivors include two sons, Robert G. Smith of Red Hook and Daniel A. Smith of Niskayuna; a daughter, Kelly Ann Keays of Niskayuna; two sisters, Ann Dott of Colonie and Mary Lou Brown of Colonie; two brothers, Brother Alfred Smith, C.M., of Philadelphia and John "Red" Smith of Niskayuna; and a grandson.
Services will be held Monday at 8:15 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, and at 9 at the Church of St. Clare, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Shirley Dibble
GALLUPVILLE - Mrs. Shirley Delligan Dibble, 72, died Thursday at home after a long illness.
Mrs. Dibble was born in Vermont. She had been a resident of the Capital Region for most of her life.
Her husband, Minard Z. Dibble Sr., died last year.
Survivors include five sons, Martin W. Dibble Sr. of Red Hook, Minard Z. Dibble Jr. of Hillsdale, Mark Dibble Sr. of Berne and Scott and Todd Dibble Sr., both of Schoharie; a daughter, Sandra Parsons of Delanson; four sisters, Patricia Kane of Valrico, Fla., Mildred Noack of Schoharie, Jean Vitenger of Fishkill and Normadean Chrysler of Schoharie; two brothers, William Delligan of Schoharie and Wayne Delligan Sr. of Delmar; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont.
Burial will be Knox Cemetery.

Michael Modic, 40, research engineer who held 28 patents
HOUSTON, Texas - Michael John Modic, 40, of Houston, died Thursday.
Mr. Modic was born in Schenectady.
He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and the University of Akron.
A research engineer for 17 years with Kraton Polymers, he held 28 patents in the field of polymer modifications.
Survivors include his wife, Aimee Modic; his parents, Marie and Frank J. Modic of Scotia and Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Diane Smith of Stratford, N.J.; two brothers, Kevin Modic of Bethlehem, Pa., and Frank E. Modic of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and his grandmothers, Mary Modic and Rita Connors.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail.
