She was born
May 10, 1964, in Beirut, Lebanon, the daughter of George and Evelyn Mansour.
She was a teacher for the Massapequa School District.
She is survived by her spouse, Michael; daughter, Yara; son, Michael; brothers, Jean and Andre; mother, Evelyn; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by father, George Mansour.
A service was held at Infant Jesus R.C. Church on Aug. 21. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Home of Setauket.
Suzanne Sarnicola
Died: Saturday, August 18, 2012
Suzanne Sarnicola, 61 years old, a longtime community resident, died August 18, 2012.
She was born
June 21, 1951 in Queens, the daughter of Angelo and Concetta Mami .
She was a secretary for the Sachem Central School District. Suzanne loved arts & crafts, scrapbooking and gambling.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas; daughters, Stacie and Carrie; son, John; grandchildren, Shane, Anthony, Josh and Mason; sister, Angela; brother, Angelo and many other family and friends.
Services were held at St. Louis DeMonfort, August 2. Interment followed in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Home of Setauket.
Frances George
Died: Wednesday, August 08, 2012
Frances W. George, age 76, of Chambersburg, Pa., and formerly of Mount Sinai, passed away at the Penn Hall Nursing Center Wednesday morning, Aug. 8. Born in Hackensack, N.J., on July 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian Larson Wictorin.
Mrs. George was a 1954 graduate of Ridgefield Park High School in New Jersey and a 1958 graduate of Wilson College in Pennsylvania. A longtime real estate executive, she served on the Long Island Board of Realtors, the Wilson College Alumni Association, and was a board member of Menno Haven Retirement Community’s Northfield Council.
William R. Wagner
Died: Wednesday, August 08, 2012
William “Bill” R. Wagner, mathematician, software engineer, musician and resident of Stony Brook since 1970, died on Aug. 8. His took his engineering degree at Syracuse University, and did his graduate work at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU.
An employee of Hazeltine Corporation in Greenlawn and its descendants for over forty years, Bill was an inventor of the video display terminal, an early stepping-stone that ultimately led to color television. A member of the IEEE, he was past president of the Association for Computing Machinery. As an ardent Sherlockian, he was a member of The Long Island Cave Dwellers and the Sherlock Holmes Society of London.
Following a diagnosis of cancer and his subsequent retirement nine years ago, Bill became a dedicated editor and researcher for E.J. Wagner, his crime-historian wife, carefully formatting her short stories, articles and book.
His skills as a flutist, guitarist and singer were often part of her adult storytelling presentations — he was variously listed in the programs as “chantyman,” “accomplice “or troubadour.” They performed regularly at Stony Brook University’s Museum of Long Island Natural Sciences, Bayard Cutting Arboretum, and frequently at other venues including sailing ships and Brookhaven National Laboratory.
Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years; their two daughters, Sonia Wagner and Dahlia Wagner Fox; their son-in-law Brian Fox; and their grandsons, Joseph and Max Fox.
Bill is also deeply mourned by his resident Labrador, Dr. Watson.
A memorial is planned for Sunday, Aug. 26, at 3 pm at Setauket Neighborhood House.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Smithtown Guide Dog Foundation or Planned Parenthood – Hudson Peconic.

Died: Tuesday, August 07, 2012
Lore Smith, 72, of Port Jefferson, died August 7. She was born
Feb. 7, 1944, in Gleiwitz, Germany the daughter of John and Margaret Buchner.
She was a retired real estate agent for Coach Realtor.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney; children, Jennifer, Alison, Curt and David; grandchildren, Olivia, Madde, Lena, Destiny and Faith.
Services were held August 14 at First United Methodist Church in Port Jefferson. Interment followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetary in Coram.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Home of Setauket.
Elizabeth Masciangelo
Died: Monday, August 06, 2012
Elizabeth Masciangelo, aged 85 of Ridge, died on Aug. 6. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving mother of Steve (Bette) and Ellen Hall (Dr. Rick Hall); cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jeffrey, Courtney and Julianne. Also survived by four loving great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held Aug. 13 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Rocky Point. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery.

Frederick John Sexauer
Died: Monday, August 06, 2012
Frederick John Sexauer, 61, of Saint Albans, Vt., formerly of Stony Brook, passed away on August 6.
He is survived by his siblings, Lauren Fitzpatrick (Thomas) of Stony Brook, Matthew Sexauer of Franktown, Va., Mary Volz of Rocky Point and Patricia Lewis (Matthew) of Stony Brook. Mr. Sexauer also leaves behind five nephews; Sean, Timothy, Matthew, Frederick and William as well as one niece; Samantha.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick Sexauer Jr. of Belle Haven, Va. and Inez L. Sexauer of Stony Brook.
A private graveside memorial service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. James R.C. Church.
Cremation arrangements were provided by Brady and Levesque Funeral Home, Saint Albans, Vt.

William E. Sullenger, 79, of Midlothian, Va., formerly of Miller Place, died on August 5. He was born
in Seminole County, Okla., and is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Sullenger; his daughter, Julie A. Jonason (Randy); three grandchildren, Sean Friss, Jessica Hughes (Ferdinand) and Jennifer Jonason; two great-grandchildren, Sean Curtis Hughes and Joshua Hughes; and a sister, Betty Harrell.
A memorial service was held August 8, at Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway, Chesterfield, VA. Interment to be held 1 pm today, August 9, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.

Patricia B. Taylor, 72, of Rocky Point, died August 5. Born in Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late Philip and the late Dorothy (Adams) Webber. She was employed in staff accounting for Zalk & Zalk, Huntington.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by one daughter, Carol Taylor of Rocky Point; one son, Thomas Taylor and three grandchildren. A private cremation was arranged by family.

Catherine Miller, age 93, of Ridge, died on April 26. She was the beloved wife of Charles; cherished mother of Barbara Miller and Michael (Jan) Miller; loving grandmother of Blythe Miller and Victoria “Tori” Miller.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Jackson, N.J. Interment followed at St. Vlademir’s Cemetery.

Barbara Imossi

Age: 73
Barbara Imossi, 73 years old, a longtime community resident, died April 26.
She was born
June 27, 1939, in Manhattan, the daughter of Ernest and Bridget Furhmann.
She was a retired property manager for Kaufman Associates, and a member of Our Lady of Fatima.
She is survived by her husband, Francis; daughter, Tracey; sons, Sean and Noel; seven grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Deutsch and the late Joan O’Connor; along with many other family and friends.
Services were held at St. James R.C. Church on April 29. Interment followed at St. Patrick Cemetery in Smithtown.

Patricia Moon-Perricone
Died: Thursday, April 25, 2013
Age: 51
Patricia Moon-Perricone, 51, of Rocky Point passed suddenly on April 25.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perricone. Patricia was a loving mother to Brittany and Taylor; cherished sister to Kathleen and Bobby; and adored aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The thought of Patricia brings so many memories and smiles to our faces. So many hearts that are saddened, but comfort us knowing that the caring and loving person she was in life continues because of her kindness. As an organ donor, Patricia was able to help save the lives of over 50 people. She will be forever missed.
A service was held April 28 at the funeral home with a Mass following at Infant Jesus Church.
A memorial service will be held May 31 at 1 pm at Calverton National Cemetery.

Frank Settipani
Died: Wednesday, April 24, 2013
Frank Settipani, age 85, of Ridge, died April 24, at home. Frank was born
Dec. 22, 1927, in Brooklyn. He was the son of the late Stefano and the late Laura (Giambalvo) Settipani. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952-54. He was employed by the IRS in Brooklyn as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Taylor) Settipani; his sons, Christopher Settipani of Queens and Nicholas Settipani of Middle Island; and two grandchildren, Christopher Heitman and Audrey Agas. Prayers were offered on April 30 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard P. Hoerning officiating. Burial took place at Calverton National Cemetery on May 1.
Arrangements were entrusted to Rocky Point Funeral Home in Rocky Point.
