She graduated from Monroe Community College and from the U. of R. where she received her nursing degree.

Pittsford: July 11, 2007. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend of many. Lillian is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leslie P. Mitchell; her daughters, Dianne (Jamey) ONeill aof Kensington, Md., Laurie (John) Garbarino of Duxbury, Mass., and Patrice (Edward Doherty) Mitchell of Rochester; the grandchildren so dear to her, Miggs and Jamey ONeill, Leslie and Chase Garbarino, and Laine Doherty; her sister Laura (Gene Marino) Farley-Marino and brother Louis Fares, of Trenton, N.J.; and nieces and nephews.
Lillian was known for her youthful beauty, optimism, laughter, and jokes, her devotion to family, her caring for friends, a great social life, and her love of tennis, both as a player and a fan of Andre Agassi. She was a spirited volunteer, especially at her daughters schools and activities and, later, as a St. Louis parishioner and supporter of Saints Place, a parish ministry for refugee families. Lillians family would like to thank her many friends and fellow parishioners for their support during her battle against brain cancer, and also her special caregivers at The Friendly Home, Rochester General Hospital, and Lifetime Care Hospice.

Born in Rochester 1922 and died Jan. 1, 2009. Predeceased by his sister, Mary Lou, and his beautiful, beloved wife, Lois, Dan is survived by his daughters Mickie Meagher Smith, Patti, Chris Levato (Ross) and Anne; his brother, Edward; and his dear friends Gene Schomburg and Addie Carhart.
After graduating from Aquinas Institute, Dan attended St. Bonaventure University, then joined the Air Force during World War II, serving as first sergeant and leader of the Airacobras, a dance band that entertained GIs throughout Europe. He joined his father in the construction business, then served as deputy secretary of state in the Rockefeller administration for seven years. He later formed Waterford Financial, a commercial real estate brokerage.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, Jan. 6, at St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Ave. The family wishes to thank Linden Knoll and the Friendly Home for their wonderful care of Dan in his final years and asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Friendly Home at www.friendlyhome.org.

Les served in the Army working in the office of the Joint Chiefs ofStaff. He was in the Army Reserves as a Warrant Officer-4 for 32 years. An avid Ham Radio operator, Les was a Regional Coordinator for Army M.A.R.S. and was a member of R.A.R.A. (WB2ABF). He attended Cornell University, graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked at Kodak for over 40 years. Les was a 32 DegreeMason, a Shriner, and a founding member of the B.V.A. (driver, dispatcher, first-responder). A member of St. Mark's and St. John's Church, he was a licensed layreader and served on the Vestry -Warden, Treasurer, Diocesan Convention Delegate and was on the Bishop's Search Committee. Les was on the Board of the Episcopal Church Home where he preached for 30 years and where he resided at the time of his passing.
