Charles D. Wolcott
COHOCTON - Charles D. "Charlie" Wolcott, 76, of 10799 Edmond Road, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at home.
He was the owner and partner of Lent Hill Dairy Farm in Cohocton for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Maureen Wolcott of Cohocton; mother, Elizabeth Wolcott of Cohocton; three daughters, Bunny Risley of Cameron Mills, Eileen Feinman of Cohocton, Barbara Napper of Saranac; two sons, Paul Wolcott and Mark Wolcott, both of Cohocton; a brother, Roger Wolcott of Cohocton.
Calling hours were from 79 p.m. Tuesday (July 4) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (July 5) at St. George Stanton Funeral Home, Wayland.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius Church.
Burial was held in St. Pius Cemetery.
Neal B. Hoad
ALEXANDRIA BAY - Neal B. Hoad, 26, of Bath, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2006 at River Hospital in Alexandria Bay. He was born June 11, 1980 in Hornell, the son of Cal and Lamora (Townsend) Hoad.
Neal graduated from Haverling High School in 1998, and graduated from Alfred State at Wellsville with an AOS degree in Diesel Mechanics in 2000, and an AOS degree in Automotive Mechanics in 2001. He worked school years for Ken Ward mowing lawns and then became a mechanic for MJ Ward. After college graduation and to the present he was employed with the NYS DEC as a motor equipment mechanic.
When his time wasn't dedicated to helping his father and brothers, he enjoyed building his own race truck, riding four wheeler, snowmobiling, bowling and spending time with special girlfriend and many special friends. Neal was a member of the Savona Rod and Gun Club, and Snowflakes Snowmobile Club.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Arland and Betty Hoad. Neal is survived by his parents, Cal and Lamora Hoad of Bath; his two brothers, Daniel (Jan) Hoad of Bath and Jerry (Erica) Hoad of Bath; his wonderful girlfriend, Destiny Bates of Bath; his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Shirley Townsend of Bath; special aunts, Tammy and Sandy; two nephews, Darren and Joshua Hoad; one niece, Leah Hoad; and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours were observed Thursday (July 6) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath where his funeral service was held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3 p.m., with the Reverend Douglas Madden from the Bath Presbyterian Church officiating. Neal's burial was held in Grove Cemetery, Bath.
Memorials may be made in Neal's memory to the Kanona Fire Department.
Jean G. Withey
Jean G. Withey of Syracuse died Monday Nov. 8th, 2000 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse at the age of 80.
She was born in Utica and has lived in the Syracuse area since 1956. She was a graduate of the Utica Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, as a Registered Nurse, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Syracuse University. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League, and the S.U. Alumni.
She was pre-deceased by her Husband Howard in 1992.
Surviving are her Daughter Claudia Hanley of Dewitt, a Son Howard of Missouri, 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Services will be held on Thursday Nov. 11th at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in Syracuse. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro, NY at 1PM Thursday.
There are no calling hours.
The Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home Inc. located at 209 N. Main St. North Syracuse is handling arrangements.
Kathleen F. Weber
Kathleen F. Weber, 65 of Bear Rd, North Syracuse NY, died Tuesday in the Crouse Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, New York.
Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Myron and the late Dorothy Osborne Beach.
She was a Homemaker.
She is survived by a Son, Gerald A. Weber of Clay, NY; 2 daughters, Coleen M. Dietrich of North Syracuse, NY and Donna M. Adsitt of Mattydale, NY; 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Sears - Middleton - Jones Funeral Home Inc., 209 North Main Street, North Syracuse, with a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima, North Syracuse.
Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.

Edward Carl Warner
Edward Carl Warner of Cicero New York died Monday January 31st at Sunnyside Nursing Home in East Syracuse at the age of 81.
He was born in Watertown, NY and lived in the CNY area since 1957.
His parents were Edward J. and Ruth Burns who pre-deceased him.
He was a retired truck driver, and belonged to the Teamsters Union.
Surviving are his wife, formerly Helen E. Schlie; A Step-Daughter Kathy Smith of Durhamville, NY; A Step-Son David Hirsch of NYC; 2 Brothers, James of Liverpool, and Robert of Rochester; A Sister Mary Warner of Syracuse; 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 3rd at 10 AM At Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay with Fr. Frank P. Young officiating.

Aurelia M. Slosson
Aurelia M. Slosson, 88 of 407 Wolcott AVE, Syracuse NY, died Saturday in the Francis House Syracuse, NY.
Born in Cicero, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Anna Gillette Minor.
She was a RN, employed by Syracuse University Student Health Services.
Mrs. Slosson was a member of Member of The Onondaga Guild to Van Duyn Home And Hospital; Bellview Heights United Methodist Church; The Order of the Eastern Star Kismer Chapter # 217 in Bridgewater, NY.
She is survived by a Daughter, Sharon Krause of Syracuse, NY; a grandson, David M. Krause; a granddaughter; Judy A. Turkisher; a great grand daughter, Kailey Krause; 2 great grandsons, Daniel R. Krauseand John D. Krause.
Graveside Services were held Monday at the North Syracuse Cemetery, South Bay Rd., North Syracuse with the service conducted by the Rev. Barbara Wilson officiating.
A Memorial Services is Planned for a future date. Interment was in North Syracuse Cemetery, North Syracuse Arrangements by the Sears - Middleton - Jones Funeral Home Inc., 209 North Main Street, North Syracuse.

Thomas Ruiz
Thomas Ruiz, 65 of Syracuse, died Nov. 9th at home.
He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and has lived in the CNY area for 45 years.
He was a member of and employed through Local #433 Laborers in Syracuse.
He was Pre-Deceased by a Daughter Victoria Ruiz in June 1999.
Surviving are his Wife of 34 years the former Sharon Santee of Syracuse, a Daughter Tina Atkinson of Brewerton, a Son Thomas Ruiz Jr. of Little Falls, NY, Several Brothers and Sisters in Puerto Rico and 3 Grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday Nov.19th at 11 AM at the Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home at 209 N. Main St. North Syracuse with Fr. Frank P. Young officiating.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse. A Calling hour will be on Friday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
Margaret Noel Reis
Margaret Noel Reis , age 90 of North Syracuse NY, died Sunday March 3, 2000 in the Crouse Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, New York.
Mrs. Reis was born in Standish, NY, was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary Gibeau Noel.
She is survived by a Daughter, Eillen Blandford of Liverpool, New York; a son, George Reis of Peterborough, New Hampshire; a sister, Louise Weaver of Stow, Ohio; two brothers, John Noel of Plattsburgh, New York; and Gerald Noel of Chazy Lake, New York.
Friends may call at Sears - Middleton - Jones Funeral Home Inc., 209 North Main Street, North Syracuse. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Wednesday, March 22 at 09:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose of Lima, North Syracuse, with the Fr. Frank P. Young celebrant. Burial will be in the Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.

Nathaniel W. Meloon
Nathaniel W. Meloon 90 died Sunday, February 27th, 2000 at Birchwood Nursing Home in Liverpool, NY.
He was born in Niagara Falls, NY and moved to the Syracuse area in 1942.
He retired in the 1970's after over 30 years as Owner and President of Meloon Foundries in Mattydale, NY.
He was past Chairman of the American Foundrymens Society, National Director of the NonFerrous Foundry Society, Member of the Manufacturers Association of Syracuse. 50 Years Member of the North Syracuse Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.
Surviving are: His wife of 61 years the former Edrie Macguire of North Syracuse, a son, Thomas N. Meloon of Spotswood, NJ, and a brother Leslie Meloon of Kenmore, NY. As well as several Nieces and Nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 4th at 11:30 AM at the Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home, Inc. 209 N. Main St, North Syracuse, NY.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 11:30 AM prior to the service Saturday.
Burial will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo in the spring.
